reading this in the dead of summer is crazy but i ate up every second nonetheless! this was a cutesy fast paced spicy lil romance that just tugs at your heartstrings (and in your pants. heheh). no but honestly if you’re looking for a quick paced small town steamy holiday romcom, this is the perfect place!
✨📚 If you're a fan of Hallmark movie vibes but crave a little extra spice, then I've found your new favorite read! This cozy, small-town Christmas romance gives us the perfect reverse grumpy-sunshine duo who feel so real, you might just bump into them on your next holiday stroll! 🐶❤️ I adored how both characters own their flaws and genuinely strive to grow—it's like a masterclass in authenticity! 🎄💫 I'm rating it a solid 4.75/5 stars because honestly, who doesn't love a good grumpy-sunshine story? Can’t wait to dive back in and relive the magic! 📖✨ #BookRecommendation #CozyReads #HallmarkFeels
If you love a Hallmark movie kind of book but always wished they had a little spice mixed in this is the book for you! This is a reverse grumpy-sunshine, which gave you just enough back story to absolutely fall in love with the characters, This was the perfect mix of cozy, small town, Christmas cheer, dogs, and spice. One of the things I loved about this book was that both of the main characters know what their flaws are and are trying to learn/grow from past experiences. It makes this book see so authentic that you could possibly meet these people in real life.
Overall I'm giving this book a 4.75/5 stars. The only thing I like more than a reverse grumpy-sunshine is a regular grumpy sunshine. I would 100% reread this and recommend it to other people.
I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really wanted to like this, but the writing style just wasn’t for me, I prefer books written in 1st person point of view, I feel as though they are easier for me to follow along with but I digress. this was a cute and fluffy holiday read. it definitely felt like I was watching a hallmark movie.
“I did fall in love with you in a month. you are everything I want, and it has nothing to do with your broken house or your…. your… whatever it is you think about yourself, that you are selfish or not worthy or… I don’t know… I really don’t know kira because I think you are fucking perfect.”
there is truly something about loving someone even though you know they aren’t ready to accept that love
A cozy Hallmark Christmas movie, but add steam! The Christmas Tree Farm was a great escape from the bazillion degree summer days. It covers all the bases: cozy small town, dogs, Christmas cheer, living room blanket forts, and steamy open-door loving. I like that our MCs were fully aware of their flaws and were trying to grow. I love the friend group. I want to live in Dream Harbor! My biggest complaint about the book would be all… the… ellipsis… Seriously, at one point I was playing a game to see how many pages in a row had ellipsis, but that was distracting me from the story and I stopped. Otherwise, I enjoyed this low-angst, steamy, cozy, fluffy Christmas book.
I received an ARC of The Christmas Tree Farm from NetGalley. I am leaving my review voluntarily.
I am a fan of Laurie Gilmore, so I was excited to read this book. It did not disappoint. It was a great cozy Christmas read. I especially love the small-town setting. I really liked Kira and her story line, and I thought that she and Ben had great chemistry. Between the story and the setting, it really put me in the Christmas spirit. This will definitely be recommended to all my friends. I am so excited for more of Laurie Gilmore’s books in the future.
Booktok Holiday Girlies will looove this 🎄

Yes, yes, yes! Such a cozy and thrilling read. I love when a romance novel can still hook you. Not even due to drama, etc. but just out of the storylines and development of the characters relationship.
I feel like this is a ‘cozy romance’ in the sense that stakes are ‘low’ and it’s not a whirlwind romance BUT that makes it the perfect holiday read to me. This one is a great one to read bundled up in bed or your preferred cozy spot ☕️
Look forward to reading once again once it’s released. This makes me even more excited for the cinammon bun shop book!
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in the Dream Harbor series, but you don't have to read them in order. The characters are connected, but each book is a standalone story. If you loved The Pumpkin Spice Cafe story, then you will love this, too. This one is a cute and heartwarming Christmas book. I mean, who doesn't love a story set on a Christmas tree farm with adorable dogs? Plus, there's some fun banter, funny moments, spice, and even a little mystery. I want to move to Dream Harbor. This is Hallmark mixed with Gilmore Girls vibe with spice added in.
The main character is Kira, a woman who's trying to find her own way after her sister moves away. She's always relied on her sister, so now she has to learn to stand on her own two feet. And what does she do? She buys a Christmas tree farm without even seeing it first! That's her first mistake, but not her last.
Bennett is in town for the holidays, visiting his sister Jeanie, who owns the local coffee shop. He brings his three dogs with him, and while he's letting them run in the woods. He ends up trespassing on the Christmas tree farm land, while there he stumbles upon Kira. She's not too happy to see him at first, but she loves the dogs. And guess what? hat's not the last time he'll see her, though. Even visiting, he gets put into a situation by the major of Dream Harbor and his sister.
I was a fan of Laurie Gilmore‘s last book and I greatly enjoyed her. If you’re in the mood for a Christmas romance with a grumpy protagonist, pick up The Christmas Tree Farm. You won’t regret it.
Oh, where do I even begin with The Christmas Tree Farm? I was swept away by the characters’ chemistry and the enchanting holiday vibes. The HEA is heart-melting and so satisfying. I adored every moment of this spicy, romantic whirlwind, truly a must-read for anyone craving a perfect holiday escape.
I absolutely adored ‘The Christmas Tree Farm’. It had me hooked from the start with its irresistible blend of grumpy x sunshine, cozy small-town vibes, and delicious forced proximity. The one bed trope added the perfect touch of tension and intimacy. The characters' chemistry was off the charts, their happily ever after left me with the biggest smile on my face.
