I enjoy Abby’s writing and as always I love the characters!
I enjoyed the character development and the group dynamic. Dual timeline was not my favorite, simply because I found myself having to ask if I was in a “then” or “now” chapter.
I LOVED the narrators and thought they really added so much to the vibes, I don’t think there could have been better narration here!
Thank you Netgalley for this ALC 🫶🏼

I had seen so many friends talking about this series, so I thought it was a great time to pick up a new-to-me author when the ALC of this was available, and I'm so glad I did. This was a fun start to a new why choose series!
It starts off not really feeling like too much of a why choose. It's got a second chance feel and I enjoyed that we got past and present timelines to help answer the questions surrounding what went down with mainly, Hunter and Greedy, three years ago.
I really loved seeing how Greedy and Hunter got together in the past and I was truly rooting for them in the present as well! Their relationship is extremely complicated but it makes for some good angst haha. I also really liked how Levi was able to be there for Hunter in a way that Greedy couldn't. Not necessarily Greedy's fault, but he couldn't be there nonetheless. So while at first I was mostly rooting for Greedy, Levi did really grow on me!
With that ending though...I am very excited to see where the next book takes us! I know we will be adding a new guy into the mix which should make things even more interesting! Looking forward to it, just trying to decide whether to wait for the audio (this audio was great!) or eyeball read since I did read a small chunk on ebook and it was very easy and engaging to read! We'll see hopefully soon!

I LOVE LOVE LOVED the audio for this book. Having read the novel before this getting to listen to it and hear the characters come to life was EVERYTHING!
The narrators did a phenomenal job! My only wish was that this book was narrated in duet style.

This was my first Abby Millsaps book and it certainly will not be my last.
The spice doesn't happen straight away and I enjoyed that "getting to know you" aspect of the characters. It was nice having the flashback chapters meshed into the story so you get bits and pieces fitting together slowly before the whole thing ramps up.
Excited to read So Real and get all the rest of the tea.
Much love to NetGalley & Dreamscape Media for my ALC.

Alright this one got me 🥹 this one hit hard. Hunter, poor Hunter has been through so much. So so much trauma. The story then is about her friendships with Greedy and Levi. The now is three years later and trying to piece things back together after some hard times.
This is my first Abby book and I absolutely loved how she tied in all of the emotions in this one. The narrators did phenomenal and had me interested the entire time.
Thank you for this ALC @netgalley, dreamscape and Abby!

If ever there were a FMC that I identified with, Hunter is it. Her sassy mouth had me laughing so hard because she said things I would say. I really liked these characters overall and the bond between Levi, Greedy, and Hunter was very well written and I really enjoyed their interactions. The story flowed well and I didn't have any issues following the then/now narration in the story and I liked the glimpses of the past that a were woven into the present story. The spicy scenes were great, well-written and believable for the age of these characters. With that said, there are some things that some readers may find triggering so I would recommend heeding those warnings. I also want to point out that the audio narration on this book was excellent. I loved the trio cast so that both Levi and Greedy had their own unique voice. With that said, the book ended on a cliffhanger and I tore out my earbud and said "I'm MAD" now. Ha! I hate cliffhangers, but Ms. Millsaps, you have me. I'm on the hook for book 2 because I MUST know what happens between these three.

After seeing this everywhere on bookstagram, I really, really wanted to love it; i just felt like it was missing something though. It was still a spicy and cute read, it just wasn’t a favorite.

So Wrong is book 1 in the Boys of South Chapel series, a why choose college romance. The guys are swoon worthy, the girl is bookish, and the emotions are run high!
This audio is so well done! There are three narrators, one for each of the main characters. Each narrator is a great fit for his or her character, but the female narrator is the perfect match for Hunter. Her emotional scenes are impactful and it feels like she really understands her character.
I really enjoyed this one and I look forward to starting book 2!

By the cover I honestly thought it was going to be a cute cozy sports romance, but I was pleasantly surprised by how emotionally dark and complex the story and characters are. I ended up absolutely loving it. So Wrong is the first book in the Boys of South Chapel Series and it's a spicy second chance romance with fake dating, why choose, loveable characters, multiple POV, dual timelines. The story does contain some trigger warnings and leaves on a huge cliffhanger! I listened to the audiobook narrated by June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, and Liam Dicosimo, they did a great job telling Hunter, Greedy and Levi's story.
The story follows Hunter, Greedy and Levi. Hunter recently moves back home to her stepfather's house, and she has a very complicated history with her stepbrother Greedy. After their best friend, Levi, has an accident and loses his scholarship he is forced to move back home. Hunter pretends to be his girlfriend to protect him. Hunter and Levi eventually start to develop a genuine connection at the same time Greedy is planning on getting Hunter back. While Hunter opens her heart will there be enough room for them both?
Available now on Kindle Unlimited. Audiobook releasing 08/06/2024.

This audiobook was so good! The narrators did such a wonderful job at bringing Hunter, Greedy, and Levi to life. I loved listening to this, especially after finishing So Real. All the details were fresh in my mind and I loved this book the first time I read it. And the second time was even better! Cannot wait for the next audiobook!

3.5 ⭐️
I hate to say it, but I didn't really connect with the characters in this one. At times, I was rooting so hard for them, but other times I wanted to shake them because of all the miscommunication.
The narration was great and kept me engaged! I hadn’t listened to the narrators before, but they did a great job and I will definitely be looking for more of theirs in the future.
This book does end on a cliffhanger.

I am sorry but the dirty mouth on that 18 year old step brother I could not deal with. It felt a little pervy, where did he learn all that dirty talk if they were both Vs. Also ends in a cliffhanger. Audiobook production was a great listen.

🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I love them all. Except Spencer. But I can learn to love him.
BUT EXCUSE ME WHY DID I THINK THIS WAS A STANDALONE IN A SERIES?! 😭 that ending was brutal and I must know what happens next.
If I could change one thing, I’d get rid of the jumping timeline. It’s messed with the continuity of the story. The flow would have been much better going from the past and then jumping to the present.
Anyhoo I’m obsessed and this is all I’ll be talking about until further notice. Thank you.

The narration on the audio is PHENOMENAL! From the full cast, and particularly from June deBorahae, giving voice to these characters enhanced the reading experience so much for a story I already love deeply. The emotions are that much more raw, real, and intense — and so is the chemistry with these characters.
Thank you to the author, Dreamscape Media, NetGalley, and the entire cast for the opportunity to listen early!

I started reading Abby Millsaps in the middle March and I have been obsessed ever since this book did not disappoint!

Where to start?
Well, this is Hunter's story and she was introduced to us in The Boys of Lake Chapel series I knew if/when the author wrote her story it was going to be epic and she delivered! Hunter is pure, she’s amazing, sweet, strong, resilient, caring and a force to be reckoned with even while she struggles with demons within her. She pushes through.
Then there is Greedy, I’ve loved him from Lake Chapel! he’s a smart, sexy, strong footballer. He’s fun and easygoing, yet I found him difficult to figure out, but I think that’s what the author is going for.. he’s also completely smitten and in love with Hunter.
Next up, Levi! He is a sweetheart, hot as hell. He’s the sort of friend that will always have your back no matter what and he proved that throughout the book.
I’m not going to dive in any deeper. however, I will say that these three together have explosive chemistry. The bond and connection they hold are like nothing else. This story has had me in a chokehold from page one and I am hanging for more, especially after that ending!!
I feel the author has only just scratched the surface with these three and I’m excited to see where she goes with this series!
Loved it
5 STARS!!

Hunter falls in love with not just one but two young men.
The narrators, June DeBorahae, J. River Pierce, and Liam Dicosimo, did an amazing job bringing Abby Millsaps words to life. It is a multicast dual-style narration.
This ends on a cliffhanger, so I will be anxiously awaiting book 2

So Wrong by Abby Millsaps
Boys of South Chapel - Book One
I was not expecting this to be so good. And my boy Greedy 🖤 he deserves more. I hope in the upcoming books he gets more 🤣
The narration was absolutely unreal - I could clearly picture each of the characters. I look forward to the future books in the series.
Thank you @abbymillsaps @dreamscape_media and @netgalley for the advance copy of the audiobook.

This was an audio arc.
Triple narration! I absolutely loved the audiobook. Eeekkk.
I loved all the narrators in this book. They all did such a good job. I would recommend the audiobook.
The dynamic between the three main characters was so good. In the past timeline you get to see the beginning relationship between Hunter and Greedy. It’s very much first love vibes. Levi was only ever a best friend to Greedy and Hunter. Hunter and Greedy find out that they are to become step siblings. There is a prominent situation that occurs causing Hunter to leave the county. In the present timeline Hunter is back living at Greedy’s. They are both tiptoeing around each and their feelings. Levi comes to stay with them to heal from a recent surgery. Levi and Hunter become closer and feelings start to spark. There is a a MFM scene that occurs. A new character is introduced at the end. I would definitely recommend this book. I was not expecting half the stuff that happens.

This audio was the perfect embodiment of Abby's work. The dynamic of the characters was perfectly matched to how I felt when I was reading the book. There were some points where it felt like I was overhearing a conversation between high schoolers falling in love for the first time. So many sweet moments were had through out the book that helped balance the devastation that happened.
I absolutely adored how each narrator represented the different characters in the scenes. Hearing all the confessions and longing from Greedy made this book so much more emotional. I loved being in Hunter’s mind again. Hearing her inner monologue made me feel so much closer to her as a character.

This was a good read—once I had a handle on what was happening and who the characters were, I was able to get into it more. But admittedly, I was quite confused at first.
If multiple timelines and multiple POV’s confuse you, this one might not be for you. It’s a bit hard to keep up with at times and know the who and the when.
But if you think you’re up for it and enjoy stories told like this, this one is totally for you!
Greedy easily had my attention. I found him to be the most interesting of the MC’s.
I, like many others, was like “WHAT?!” at the end, so I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for the next book in the series.
Overall, this is a fast read with fascinating love stories that will keep you interested!
