This was way to wordy. I wanted to really give this book a chance but it kept on finding multiple ways to describe the same thing for paragraphs at a time what could have been said in one. Also, despite trying to find ten diffent ways to describe one action like screaming, often the same word is repeated over and over again. I don't want to read name Adrian again for a while. I am sorry for the harshness. There were a lot of good ideas, the execution needs work.

For some reason, I didn't receive the entire book and only received 95 pages. So that is what I am going to rate this book off of.

First, the cover art is gorgeous, it's giving urban supernatural | werewolves vibes. 🤣😍.

Just from the 95 pages, this book is very trauma bond, with death of parents by car accident and suicide. It even have a DV in which the female lead dealt with. So be mindful of your mental health when reading the beginning of this book!
