Kind of flat, and not very creative. I was not a fan of this work, as I felt it was too predictable. I would have liked to see more twists in the plot line. I know it is a basic romance, and one with a specific troupe, but I would have liked more.
Well written and interesting I really liked the characters.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
After reading HARD TO HANDLE (book 2 in the series) I was looking forward to reading more of this author's work. And although I didn't love this book as much as the previous one, it was an enjoyable read nonetheless. I liked Landon and enjoyed getting to know about his past. Learning more about him explained a lot of his behavior and made it a treat to see him falling in love. Kimber wasn't a bad character to get to know, but I had a difficult time connecting to her. She eventually won me over though, so I too became invested in her finding her HEA. I won't lie, I didn't think they had a great connection, but they did have amazing chemistry. In the end, I found this to be an okay entertaining read.

First I have to say I didn’t read any of the previous books from this series and I didn’t feel lost while reading this story.
This book is about Landon, Angel’s oldest brother and Kimber, Angel’s childhood bestie. I enjoyed this book but there were moments when I wanted to shake both of Landon and Kimber. The miscommunication between them became so annoying; they started as fling buddies but something big changes everything, but instead of talking to each other they get advice from other people.
In my opinion, all the advice Kimber received so was terrible especially her own mother’s bitter advice. By the way, her mother sounded like she regretted ever having Kimber and was kind of upset she didn’t have a miscarriage, so yeah, her advice I wouldn’t have given any credit to it. Landon should have opened his mouth sooner, but he did eventually lay his heart out to Kimber, but she did make him wait a little (so she lost some points for me on this).
Again this whole book took place in one month.
Since I enjoyed the first two books in Lemmon's Billionaire series, I jumped at the opportunity to read The Millionaire Affair. I typically steer clear of any romance that has characters who have a 'no romantic policy' in the description. Because, yawn. In this case, though, Landon seemed a little justified in his approach to women because he did have a bad experience. I was most disappointed in Kimber wanting to live a strong, independent life, and then caving at the end because a billionaire loves her. I wanted to jerk a know in her and tell her to stick with her assertiveness.
Jessica Lemmon has a way of packing lots into her books and romance. This had a cute story that had all the heart and sexy times a reader could want
So much love for this book and series, not to mention the author. I meet this author at RAGT and she's wonderful. Her writing style is superb and I can't get enough of her characters.
