I liked the premise of this book, I just found the entire thing to be so tedious and drawn out. The beginning was good, and I did really like the writing. I might try something else by this author, but this wasn't my favorite book.

I loved moving backwards in this fictional account of a hundred year old house. Were the residents haunted, maybe, but not by ghosts. they were haunted by memories and emotions.
