For anyone who is a Maple Leafs fan, knows Mats Sundin. I was so happy to be able to read this as an ARC as he is my favourite hockey player. He was in a time before social media and the constant knowing of what players do off the ice. He was a quiet leader and I was interested to read about his time as a Leaf but also how he started in Sweden. The first chapter gave me goosebumps as it was his first time playing back in Toronto after being traded. As a fan, I remember the game and it was great to hear it from his perspective. It was great to hear about childhood in Sweden, his parents love and support who shaped him into the captain we all know and love. He talks about his international time, first coming to the NHL and his time as captain as a Leaf. The coaches that shaped him, the players that helped him feel at home and support his career.

Such a great book. You can feel the emotions as he writes about games, sadly never winning anything but still amazing!
