Loved this book. I was invested in these characters and kept reading to see the outcome. Joeys description of the setting makes you feel like you are there. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this eARC in exchange for my honest review.
Well, it was a disappointment. The book started off nice. I liked the characters in the beginning and the topics the book depicted but by the end of the book, the ML's behavior changed so suddenly that it was so off-putting. The last 70% of the book felt childish, ridiculous, problematic and frustrating, rushed and unedited. The conflict between the main characters was one dimensional too. I was confused and annoyed at the main character. I just could not recover from how the author decided to ruin the male character.
In general, I’d say this book was a pass for me.
