I enjoyed this book. There’s a lot of false leads, & turns. I knew who the killer was though. There have been several cozies lately with the same villain type. I love the relationships. #MurderattheLemonberryTea #NetGalley

I had “discovered” Darci Hannah’s Michigan lighthouse books in the Spring and loved them. When NetGalley offered me an advanced readers copy of her latest one, I was delighted. This visit to the haunted lighthouse was as much fun as my previous ones. The storyline is strong and the character development continues. The mystery keeps you interested right to the end. Try to find the time to read the series from the beginning You will not be sorry! This opinion is my own.

The Beacon Bakeshop Mysteries are like a warm cozy hug! Each one is absolutely full of mouth-watering desserts and a juicy mystery!

Lindsey and her crew are back in the latest installment in the series that features the mysterious death of a celebrity chef. Vivi has some ulterior motives for agreeing to the visit at the lighthouse bakeshop. I was so intrigued to figure out what was going on in the story! Overall, I loved the plot and character development for the cast. It was so fun to step back into the picturesque lighthouse setting.

Cute story. An average mystery that most mystery lovers would enjoy. I would recommend this book to my library patrons.

Another five star adventure at the beacon!!! As with all darci hannah books, this took you on a wild ride of delight, romance, mystery, and delicious mouthwatering goodies. It was absolutely devourable, just like them all!!!

Another great trip to the lighthouse! It was fun to meet Ken’s family. I liked the cooking show angle. There were so many players but it was fun to try to figure it out.

I love the Beacon Bakeshop series. Lindsey and the other characters in the books are wonderful. I love how the mysteries are always interesting and never cookie cutter like some can be. The way so many in the town get together to share information to solve these crimes also makes this a stand out book. The only drawback as in most of the books is Kennedy. Her selfishness and insistence on having things her way no matter how others feel is very off putting. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars.

When British cooking star Vivi Lemonberry comes to Beacon Harbor to film at the bakery in Beacon Point Lighthouse things get plenty crazy pretty fast. But when she skips out on a scheduled Lemonberry Tea Event Lindsay Bakewell is just a wee bit upset. Where was Vivi? Why did she pick the Tea event to skip out on? And what about the affair she's supposed to be having with a much younger man ? Maybe no one will ever get the answers they are looking for because Vivi has seemed to skip town. So where did Vivi go? Well you just got to read this awesome book to find out. Lol

There is a lot going on in this new book about the Lighthouse Bakery. There is a TV show being filmed. Kennedy's family is in town. Lindsey finds herself caught up in lots of goings on. The TV star is killed and there are plenty of suspects. I enjoyed the book, but Kennedy's drama is starting to become too much.

Lindsey Bakewell is hosting a UK celebrity cookbook author who is looking to rekindle her career. When the
author's body is discovered. Lindsey, with the help of friends, looks into who wants the author dead. The
unexpected connections the author had with the man behind her comeback, members of the camera
crew and a rival cookbook author provide suspects to be investigated.
Great addition to the series.

This is the next installment in the delightful Beacon Bakeshop mysteries. I absolutely adore the setting on the shore with bakery in an old timey lighthouse and I love the main character Lindsey, her boyfriend Rory, and her playful dog Welly. However, in this one, like others in the series, her friend Kennedy is completely off-putting. She’s constantly putting Lindsey into unwanted situations and doesn’t seem to care how she feels about it.

Overall I enjoyed my return to this cozy town although I certainly preferred others in the series more. The mystery was interesting but not too hard to guess with plenty of tv show drama along the way.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for this early advanced copy!

It just keeps getting better! I love this series and this one does not disappoint. Good mystery, fast paced, and really makes you feel like you are there with the descriptions and draw to the characters. I love the location, the characters, and who doesn't love a good bakery! This cozy series is fast moving up my list of favorites for sure.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of MURDER AT THE LEMONBERRY TEA (Book 6 of the Beacon Bakeshop Mystery series) by Darci Hannah in exchange for an honest review. Lindsey Bakewell and her lighthouse bakeshop have been enlisted to be featured in the first episode of a new UK baking television baking series. The plan for the series is to revive the career of notorious personality Vivi Lemonberry; instead, the first episode turns out to be her death, and someone wants the police to think Lindsey is the murderer. Now, the British are stuck in town until the killer is identified, and Lindsey is in the unique position to interact with all of the suspects.

I liked this book and enjoy the series. I recommend the book to fans of the series and the series to fans of cozy murder mysteries featuring unique settings, haunted lighthouses, small towns, dogs, and special events.

An overdose of family, TV people, and a positive diva in the form of British celebrity chef Vivi Lemonberry descend upon the bakeshop and the reader. Then things get really dicey when the ghost lights of the harbor (an omen of death/murder) manifest and that diva is found bound/gagged/dead in the water. Great read!
I requested and received a free temporary EARC from Kensington Publishing | Kensington Cozies via NetGalley. Thank you!

Another great book in Darci Hannah’s Lighthouse Bakeshop series! A British cooking diva comes to town to reinvent her career and winds up murdered. The clues lead to Lindsay and Rory, so they, Kennedy, Tuck, and the rest of the families (including Kennedy’s sister, visiting with mom and grandmother from England) begin investigating. Throw in a few movie stars, another British cooking star, and a production crew, and there are lots of suspects. A fun mystery! A great summer read!

One of the things I really enjoy about this series is the "it takes a village" mentality with solving the murders. Lindsey is never making crazy decisions to question a possible killer on her own, she always has support from her friends and family. The characters are entertaining. When it comes to the murder, this is a story where everyone really does have a reason not to like Vivi Lemonberry which will keep you second guessing who you think did it. Another great additions to the Beacon Bakeshop Mysteries.

Thank you NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the Advanced Copy.

Lindsey Bakewell owns the Beacon Bakeshop, a bakery inside a delightful lighthouse that sits on the edge of Lake Michigan. She's excited because a British celebrity baker, Vivi Lemonberry, is coming to her shop to bake Vivi's famous Bakewell Tart as part of a promo for her new cookbook. She's had her share of scandals, but is now ready to start anew with a new attitude as well...but it doesn't last long. Lindsey soon finds out that Vivi is a diva of the first water and expects Lindsey to change everything to her own specifications. This includes banning Welly, Lindsey's beloved Newfoundland, from his home until she leaves.

On top of this, Rory, Lindsey's love, also moves out because Lindsey's best friend, Kennedy's family, is coming to stay at the lighthouse -- her grandmother, mother, and sister Pippa. This is almost as complicated as it gets, until while filming, a woman comes up and slaps Vivi, sending her off in hysterics, not to return.

Now everyone wants to know where Vivi is, and when -- or if -- the show will continue. Unfortunately, while learning to scuba dive with Rory, Lindsey is thrown into a terror by finding a body just below the surface of the water. Now there's a search for a killer, and even the police are so stumped that Sergeant Murdock has asked for Lindsey's help. What else could go wrong?...

This is the sixth book in the series and I have read them all. I have also loved them all. This one has just as much appeal as all the others. While the search is on for a killer, it's obvious that the murderer has intended to frame someone else, and that doesn't sit well with Lindsey or her friends. Unfortunately, Kennedy's sister "wants in on the action", which doesn't sit well with Kennedy, but what can she do?

Once they start investigating, they discover that everyone has secrets. But which ones led to the murder? And with so many people with motives, how to sift through the suspects to find out who had the nerve -- and anger -- to kill in such a fashion?

The book is filled with enough intrigue, secrets, and lies to keep anyone interested, but there are not so many people that you can't keep the suspects straight. I pretty much had most of it figured out before Lindsey did; but in the end even I was surprised by the whole truth.

At the last, we are given a wonderful ending that leaves us wanting to read the next book in the series right now. I am not-so-patiently waiting for that! There are also some yummy recipes in the back on the book that I can't wait to try. Highly recommended.

I was given a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley but this in no way influenced my review.

Lindsey and her friend Kennedy are hosting a television filming for a British baking series. Unfortunately, the famous baker is a total diva with a scandal filled past. When murder follows there are too many suspects. Kerpin me guessing till the bitter end. Excellent
