One of my new favorite trilogies! Part 2 was very good, full of action, memorable characters and a believable storyline. Can't wait for part 3 of the Brilliance trilogy. Highly recommended.

This was an action packed story basically about survival. I enjoyed the writing and the action, though it's not my favorite read (I rather watch it on tv). But this book continued in the world of Brilliants and how they are evolving and learning to live normal lives. This story contained several twists and kept you guessing about loyalty. A fast and energetic read which would be fun for anyone who enjoys mystery, intrigue and action books.

Another very good novel from Sakey, who is consistently good. A sequel to Brilliance that could work on its own. It's an enjoyable mystery and thriller, with a cliffhanger that will have you eager to read "Written in Fire". This series is a lot of fun. Recommended.

Very thrilling read. The story takes you many different places with lots of twists and turns. Book 2 of the series continues the story really well. No let down in the book.

I should have read the first book in the series before reading this one. I would have understood more. So I am not giving a very fair review of the book. Feel free to ignore.

Give me the "old Sakey or cops and criminals, mystery and murder.

A tense and suspense-filled follow up to the first book in the Brilliance Saga trilogy, this second book ramps down the action in order to up the politics and the maneuvering. Opening out the points of view, the story manages to combine numerous characters and gives a more epic feel to what is happening. Recommended!
