This is a 3 book series, it ends with a cliff hanger. Took me awhile to get into it. It’s not for readers under 18. How one woman becomes in tangled with multiple. Me in a motorcycle club. Read the book cover for triggers lots of hot sweaty interactions, violence enemy to lover.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review
I skimmed my way through this trilogy, it was cringey and read like something you'd expect to see on Wattpad, which is ironic considering it originated there. The main character, Zay, had no personality except for being hot and fuckable to the many men around her. She's put through all sort of shit but it's fine because the men inflicting this pain on her are actually the good guys. They HAVE to kidnap her, they HAVE to have nonconsensual sex with her because if they don't, other men will. It's not their fault really, they're just trying to protect her. So, what's a girl to do but just lie down and take the endless abuse?
This book is disgusting in its treatment of women as sex objects who are just there to satisfy a man's libido, whether they want to or not. None of the few female characters have any agency of their own, they just exist to please. Even when they act defiant, it's all just a front to get the men to want them even more. They might be victims but they're victims who flirt back.
It's insulting and degrading. Plus, there is zero meaningful relationship developed between women, their existence all revolve around which man is currently manhandling them. All they do from books 1-3 is meet a problematic guy with daddy issues, get harassed/assaulted, fall in love with them (against their will or off-page?), fix his childhood trauma or whatever, get married/get pregnant or both. And also survive/don't survive getting assaulted by his biker gang or their rivals. Riveting stuff, I tell you.
Oh, and the men?! Don't even get me started on the fucking men. Perverted misogynistic creeps whose r*pey vibes were treated like a sexy quirk because they are incredibly hot and have piercing blue eyes and are damaged or whatever. Like girl, we all have daddy issues, you're not special.
The men are a crossbreed of alpha males and Nice Guy™. They do stupid strong men shit but it's okay for them to do it because they're better than the rest of the shitty men surrounding them and also their daddy something something something. Maybe it's just 'cause I grew up without a father but I don't think anybody talks about their "daddy" as much as this three grownass men talk about theirs.
Speaking of daddy, theirs was the source of the trauma that damaged them and required the tried and tested power of pussy to cure.
To quote the magnificent Raquelle of Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse, "You're joking"
I have so many gripes with this book, which surprised me because it was pretty much meh to me while I was reading it. I do believe there is an audience who would go bonkers for it but I am not one of them. If you enjoyed this book, happy for you but I didn't and that's a shame.
Oh, there's some sort of poly rep here so... that's good, I guess.
Thanks to Netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
I am begging authors to stop writing men that literally cross every line known to man and then try to call it a redemption. Men who force sex on you should be in prison, not your bed.
I couldn’t get into this book unfortunately, I don’t think it was for me. I may try again at a later date!
I appreciate the copy to test out!
This series was okay. I liked that it was an MC and that it seemed to have multiple genres, like romance and mystery. There is some spice in it and some triggers but that doesn’t bother me.
The Stowaway Series by Alyssa Milani is a wild ride through the gritty world of motorcycle clubs, forbidden desires, and the dangerous path to redemption.
If you like your romance dark, intense, and full of high-stakes drama, this series delivers on all fronts, complete with heart-pounding action and emotions that burn hotter than a revved-up engine.
This is a story about crossing lines, breaking rules, and dealing with the consequences in a world where survival comes at a steep cost.
Milani doesn’t shy away from the gritty details. This series is packed with intense action, dangerous secrets, and enough twists to keep you guessing. The stakes are high, and the characters face some seriously tough situations. Yet, amidst the chaos, there’s a raw, powerful connection between the characters that keeps you hooked, rooting for them even when the odds seem impossible.
The romance? Forbidden and fiery. The tension between the characters crackles on the page, with a slow-burn build that pays off in explosive ways. The dark themes don’t overshadow the love story at the heart of it all, though. Instead, they amplify the emotional stakes, making the moments of tenderness and vulnerability feel all the more powerful. It’s not just about passion—it’s about finding redemption in the unlikeliest of places.
For readers who love dark romances set in an edgy, dangerous world where the line between love and destruction is razor-thin, The Stowaway Series is a gripping adventure.
Milani keeps the tension high and the characters complicated, giving us a deep dive into a world that’s both harsh and deeply human. This series is not for the faint of heart, but if you can handle the intensity, it’s a thrilling, addictive read that’ll leave you wanting more. Make sure to read trigger warning before diving in.

I really enjoyed this series and read them over a week or two. Was left wanting more!
Only issue I had is it didn't translate well to my kindle as couldn't pick up chapters etc but other than that it was great!
The Stowaway Series by Alyssa Milani contains Books 1 - 3.
I enjoyed reading this story.
The writing was well done and the characters were very intriguing.
I've read the first book in the series, but did not finish the last two.
I love the characters but II felt like it was so repeated. I had trouble having the desire to finish it.
I wanted to love this, but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. The cover and description completely hooked me. but the actual book just confused me and frustrated me.
I wanna start by saying thank you to NetGalley and the publisher Alyssa Milani for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest review.
I started this not knowing much about it over then it was about a motorcycle club and some brothers with a past and a girl that’s all I knew so once I saw that I said okay this sounds like something I wanna read lol.
In the first half of the book I had questions things are moving very quickly so naturally I had questions lol the more I got into it I got some answers there’s some spice right away at the beginning of the book. Somewhere between the first and second half it got a bit confusing for me it felt like things changed up way too fast for me and I had no idea what was going on.
However, I love the mystery part of books so I always give things the benefit of the doubt once I pushed through I was like ohhh okay that makes sense 😂 once I got to part 3 of the book things started to slowly pick up there were some twists and turns that had me thinking what’s going on!? But In a good way. Overall I really liked this storyline the plot twist I didn’t expect.
There are some things I didn’t quite understand like the words mama and daddy were going around a lot once I got past it I didn’t mind it popping up I just went through my book and got to the ending lol.
I have to be very honest the last parts of this book made up for everything
You do not have to convince me to read a Mc book that’s for sure. I enjoyed this well enough but definitely if you have any issues with triggers, to look at the list of them in the book as there are many.
2/5⭐️
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Okay so this unfortunately was not at all the book for me, as much as I tried to enjoy it I just couldn’t connect with the characters and felt really annoyed with their actions at certain points in the book. I also noticed some repetition throughout the plot that made it hard to finish this book. I definitely think the author had a vision here with this book, but I felt it could’ve been executed better in a way that has the reader engaged with the plot and invested with the characters, and I just didn’t see that here.
Could not finish unfortunately. The story started in a way that felt disorienting and the characters felt surface level and incomplete. May try the author again after some more writing experience.
The Donnelly brothers are part of the Snakes Motorcycle Club. They are haunted by their past and family dynamics. While they desire to get out of the club life and become better people living happily, they struggle to make this happen. Zaynab "Zay" is the love that got away but not too far as she is married to one of the Donnelly brothers making life hard for the rest of them as there are still feelings and desires to be with her.
I didn't love this book, but I also didn't hate it. There were times where I couldn't put it down and there were other times where I was over it. I enjoyed the characters but someone them I just wanted to smack and tell them to get over it. There was also something that REALLY irritated me about grown men calling their parents "Daddy" and "Mama" and believe me, it was said about 50 million times throughout this book. There was also A LOT of repeating throughout these books that didn't really add anything other than words to the story. With some proofreading and finesse, I think this book could transition from an ok read to a 5-star read.
Thank you NetGalley, Alyssa Milani, and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the ARC and opportunity to provide my honest feedback.
This was fantastic. I really enjoyed reading it and didn’t want to put it down. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC!
I'm ending this after the first book. I have no desire to continue the series. I hoped that it would get better, but it didn't. I felt NO chemistry between any of the characters. Zay is our main female character and for some reason (that is beyond me) everyone falls in love with her. I see no depth in her whatsoever. I enjoyed Riggs but he felt way too unrealistic for this tough biker guy. I was surprised by the big twist though, that was an interesting turn of events.
Most of the book was in the cabin, and it got boring. Even the sex scenes were nothing to write home about.
Overall, just a really mediocre read.
