I unfortunately did not get very far into this book. The writing was very forced and I found the dialogue flow so poorly it was almost unreadable for me. I have not read the other books in the series and so did not have a connection to the characters or the setting. Maybe I was missing important context that would have had me identify with the characters more. I am sure that the book is a hit for some, but unfortunately it did not come together for me.

In my opinion Ola Tundun climbs to new and new heights with each subsequent book, as she gets deeper and deeper into the various characters ad their personal struggles. When I started the first book, Ariella was not a character I particularly liked, but as I've gotten to understand her more and more, I find that I have grown to really love her, a mark of a very talented writer.
Caleb continues to be a character I love so much inspite of knowing better! And it was so stressful watching his ass get HUMBLED in Complicated, so seeing the redemption journey he goes on in Endgame was so heartwarming and special.
Ari's parents continue to be the absolute BEST, and Lara continues to be a right blood laugh!

I think this is supposed to be the last book in the series, but I am so excited to see what Ola Tundun does next :)

Thank you so much to Storm Publishing for providing me with this ARC. This book is due to be released on September 20th, 2024.

I am typically a big fan of books published by Storm Publishing but this one fell short. Right from the first few chapters, I knew this one was not going to be an all-time favorite but I still had hoped for it to be a 3 to 4-star read.....by the midway point, I lost all of my hope. This book was all over the place and lacked a cohesive flow. The plotline and overall story just didn't blend well. The way the author jumped around was just confusing. I also found the main characters hard to root for.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this one. 2 stars and that is being generous. I almost feel like I've read a completely different story than the other reviews I'm seeing.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 installments of Caleb and Ariella's lives this fell a little short for me with the focus being a little muddy and with a lot of workplace detail that didn't add to the story slowing things down.
The complexity of the relationship between the 2 and the third wheel of the love triangle still influencing their lives was well written but somewhat lost in the overall plot.

*Endgame* by Ola Tundun had some intense moments but didn't fully deliver the emotional depth I hoped for. Ariella and Caleb's dynamic is fierce, and I appreciated how their past wounds were explored. The tension between them felt genuine, and the stakes were high, with Ariella's career hanging in the balance.

However, while the plot had potential, it sometimes felt like it needed to be trying to do more at once. The push and pull between them became repetitive, and I wanted more resolution and growth from both characters. The ending wrapped things up satisfactorily, but it took a while to get there, and I wasn't as emotionally invested as I wanted to be.

Overall, it's a decent conclusion to their story, but it left me wanting more depth and connection.

This wasn’t it for me unfortunately. I was confused at the beginning about who the MMC was and then the FMC kept making me think she wasn’t into the MMC anymore even though it was dual POV of both of them.

The history between them was vague and it got too bogged down in the work descriptions.

Thank you to Netgalley and Storm Publishing. I have been waiting for the conclusion of Ariella and Caleb since forEVA and let me tell you Mrs. Tundun did not disappoint. This series has felt so raw and so real to me since book 1 and I found myself crying out of the blue in some parts. Im not gonna say because spoilers. You definitely do have to read the 2 prev books in order to understand. But this triangle with Dom, Arie, and Caleb was giving chokeholds. Of course we cant forget about all the other side characters who made this book that much better and funnier. This book is a rollercoaster I found myself screaming at my phone plenty of times especially in chapter 34 IFYKYK I was in a transe just saying Why, Why, Why!!! This book does not disappoint check them all out starting with Roommates, Complicated, and of course Endgame.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!

What a good book! I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. This is a first by this author but will not be my last! I read this in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down.

This is the final book in a series and concludes Ariella and Caleb’s story.
I read it as a standalone not realising , and at times I had no idea what was going on.
I kept going with the story and it did all come together.
It was a well written book, strong characters and quickly changing plot.
Highly recommend you read the previous books

I got through about 15% of Endgame before I had to stop reading. Honestly, I was just so confused 😵. The story jumps around so much between different characters and places that I couldn’t figure out what was going on. There were way too many things happening at once, and it was hard to keep up 😫.
On top of that, the author uses apostrophes instead of regular quotation marks for dialogue, which made it even harder to tell when someone was talking. It just made everything more confusing 🤯.
And then there’s the whole love triangle thing. I didn’t know this book had that, and it’s definitely not my thing 🙄.
Overall, Endgame just wasn’t for me. It was too confusing, and the love triangle didn’t help. If you like stories with lots of drama and complicated relationships, you might like it, but if you want something easier to follow, this probably isn’t it 😬.
Thanks to the author for sending me an ARC of the book. I really appreciate the opportunity! 🙏

Thank you for giving me access to this book before it's release.

Did not realise that this book was part of a series so at times I was a bit confused and tried to work my way through it by piecing together what happened in previous books.

I enjoyed the story and the characters but overall I would have probably got more out of it had I read the first two books.

An enjoyable read overall but don't make the mistake I did. Read the first two books before picking this one up!

Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In Endgame, Ola Tundun brings the captivating Roommates series to a dramatic and satisfying close. This final installment delves deep into the tumultuous romance between Ariella and Caleb, whose past and present collide as they face a high-stakes crisis at Ariella’s company. Ariella, the ambitious workaholic, and Caleb, the charming bad boy with a checkered past, are forced back together to tackle a major challenge. Their complex relationship, marked by unresolved issues and deep-seated wounds, is tested as they navigate their lingering attraction and the chaos of their professional lives.

Tundun skillfully blends romance with real-life challenges, offering readers a raw and emotional journey. As Ariella grapples with trust and career dilemmas, the novel captures her struggle to reconcile her past with her present. The character growth, both for Ariella and Caleb, is palpable and adds depth to their story. Despite the tension and drama, the author’s wit and insight shine through, making this a compelling read that fans of the series will find both engaging and rewarding.

The series’ culmination is marked by a heartfelt epilogue that provides closure and a glimpse of hope for the couple's future. While newcomers might feel a bit lost without reading the previous books, the rich character development and intricate plot offer a satisfying resolution for those who have followed Ariella and Caleb's journey from the beginning. Endgame is a fitting end to a story about love, redemption, and the enduring power of second chances.

Endgame is the third and final book in the Roommate series and it was the perfect ending to Ariella and Caleb’s love story. More than just romance, these two characters find love within themselves and the friendships surrounding them.

In the beginning of Endgame, I questioned whether Ari and Caleb truly belonged together and whether their relationship was strong enough to progress, but as I continued to read, the growth of these characters, not only from book one to now, but also from the beginning of Endgame to the last page, was heartfelt and inspiring to read.

Aside from Ari and Caleb’s complex dynamic, what makes this series special are the supporting characters who seamlessly weave their way through each book. They each provided more depth to Ari and Caleb‘s storyline and allow the reader to see themselves in multiple ways and stages.

The epilogue tied the entire story together in such a complete way, leaving the readers hopeful for love!

Drama, twists, turns, and romance, exactly what I love whilst reading!

Ideally, you need to read the first 2 books in the series to get the full impact and understanding of everything that's going on in Endgame, and tbh, they're really good too so why not?!

The cliffhanger from the last book had me on tenterhooks so you best believe when I saw the ARC for this, I clicked quick time! And I really enjoyed it! The charcater growth of both the FMC & the MMC was something I really loved because it was definitely needed from the previous books! And it was the perfect conclusion to this series.

I'll definitely be going back for a re read when I'm in need of my drama and angst fix!

Thank you NetGalley & Storm Publishing for allowing me access to this ebook! Okay now I want to read the first two books! Honestly it was so easy to start reading this book I'm shocked! I honestly had a very good time with those characters and this beautiful setting! Endgame by Ola Tundun will be released on September 20 and this is the third in the series.
It follows Ariella and Caleb, a second chance romance.
Ariella, driven by ambition, and Caleb, with his troubled past, are an unlikely pair, but their chemistry is undeniable. As they navigate a high-stakes work crisis together, old wounds resurface, forcing them to confront their past.
I loved the tension between their lingering attraction and the unresolved issues kept me up way past my bedtime! I loved it!

This book did not hit the mark for me, I was really intrigued by the premise and I admit I didn't realise it was part of a trilogy at first - when I did I figured I could still read it and then work my way backwards to the other books, if necessary (as I've done with other series in the past). But it was jut too complicated, the story was filled with many characters that I couldn't quite place. On top of that, I found it easier to root for the love rival rather than the main love interest practically from the get go. The relationship between the protagonists feels quite toxic to be honest, hard to root for.
The author's writing style is really good, I enjoyed that aspect but the story left me dissatisfied.

I read Complicated by Ola Tundun and have now had the pleasure to read Endgame as well. Endgame is the third book in the Roommates series and completes Caleb and Ariella's romantic story. Complicated ended on a severe cliffhanger and I needed to know what was going to happen to Caleb and Aari's relationship. Endgame had drama, romance, character growth and touched on mental health. I absolutely devoured this book and laughed out loud. Ola Tundun is a witty author and has a modern voice I loved this book!

This book was an enjoyable journey. I appreciated the fact that it felt like a more realistic approach to a romance with real ups and downs (FULL disclosure, I did not read the first two books as I didn't realize it was a series and feel like I'd have been more invested if I had read them previously).

What a lovely lovely story, full of drama, twists and turns.
I haven't read the previous 2 in the series but it didn't stop my enjoyment of this book.
It was like a bit of an emotional rollercoaster at times, but I whizzed through it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
