While this book targets teens, I feel like it can help more categories of people.

I liked the format of this book a lot. It's not only text, there are many pages where you get to answer questions or to fill in spaces and so on, basically you can add your own experience in this book so it's really easy to compare the theory (and the example) to your own. Talking about the example, there is a good example about a kid named Sam that's dealing with depression. I always felt like having an example alongside the theory helps me understand more easily.

For me, the information found in this book was both easy to understand and easy to apply in my life. The book format is also well made, so the information was easy to find.

This book is so powerful and contains a great deal of wisdom geared toward teens. As someone who struggled with depression as a teen, I would have loved a book like this to help me see the light. I particularly like the focus on timely teen issues such as the pandemic and school shootings instead of the more generic advice that I've seen in the past. I also loved the inclusion of activities that can help teens work through their depression. I would definitely recommend this for any teen or parent struggling to find a way to help!

Having a niece and nephew and now four kids of my own, this book hit home. I was just so impressed by how well done this book was! It was fantastic.
