The third book in the Mages of Oblivion finds Hypatia fleeing from her kingdom having been hurt by her family. Having lost his brother in battle, Sigmar is grief stricken and disillusioned when he is ordered to marry a princess. Unbeknown to him Hypatia has been tricked into taking the place of the bride to be.
I did not read the previous books but found this one is sufficiently stand alone that it did not deter from my enjoyment of the tale.
There was good world building throughout though sometimes I found the pace somewhat sedate for my liking. Overall and enjoyable read.
This book was different from the previous two, but wad amazing anyway. Even of this was less bloodthirsty and more romantic both the characters had to fight for their happy ending .and I love this element so much ‘cause make the story and the relationship between the protagonists more real because in the real life the happy endings have to be earned and building step by step, So I enjoyed this book a lot like the previous two!
