Another exciting read in the K-9 series. This one was harder as it dealt with runaway children and child kidnaping. Both Evan and Marlie experienced great loss to the point that they are just surviving and not really living. I must say that the climax at the end was unexpected. I also didn't understand the mindset of the very last act so to speak. That to me was not only downright self centered but very immature. Of course, Blue stole the show!

What a gripping novel, and what a series! Author Tee O'Fallon hooked me with the first book in her K-9 Special Ops series, and this third book in the series was certainly was a suspense-filled, sexy, exciting, edge-of-your-seat thriller, and it was impossible to put down. It gets 5 stars from this reader.
The heroes of Ultimate Justice are missing child finder, and FBI Special Agent Evan McGarry, and his K-9 companion, Blue. Evan has gotten into this unit because more than 20 years after his twin sister, Grace, disappeared, he's still obsessed with her abduction/disappearance and is still trying to track her down.
The heroine, is Marlie Foxe, whom Evan meets at the hospital where she works the night shift as a custodian/janitor, and where this compassionate and kindhearted woman is attempting to reach out and comfort a recent admission, an 11-year-old boy named, Noah, who managed to escape from an illegal farming operation, staffed by other young runaways and abductees. Marlie soon becomes the only person Noah wants to talk to, and when Evan realizes that these two have formed an unbreakable bond, and although he soon discovers that there's a photo of his missing sister in one of the abductor's basements, he does everything he can to not be kicked off the case for his personal involvement, and soon also becomes the protector of and savior to Marlie and young Noah.
Marlie has been hiding her true profession for the past 3 years, after her own son, 12-year-old Aidan, was abducted and murdered. Her marriage fell apart. Her apartment is spartan, she's given up her true profession, and she's avoided personal contact with others, blaming herself for the few seconds she didn't have her eyes on her son. A licensed psychiatrist, she gave up her practice and has been keeping herself separate from all others, with the exception of Tish, one of the hospital staff. But Noah's plight, and their mutual attachment to one another soon has her beginning to break out of her self-imposed guilt and isolation.
Having nowhere else to go, Noah soon moves in with Marlie, and they are recruited by Evan to help find and free the other abducted and/or runaway children who worked the farm, especially Noah's one friend there, Caleb. When Marlie's apartment is broken into, the two eventually move into Evan's home, and Evan, whose sole focus for years has been the search for his missing sister, soon finds himself attracted to Marlie, but he's given up on the idea of any lasting relationship because he's so obsessed with his job that he's had no room for a relationship, even as some of his co-workers have found happiness in their relationships in Ms. O'Fallon's previous novels in this series.
If you're looking for a spellbinding, un-put-downable romantic thriller/mystery, one with exceptional character development, a plot that grabs you from the beginning and never let's go, and deals with a serious contemporary problem, child abduction, this is the novel for you. Ms. O'Fallon has tackled a subject that's all too real to the parents of runaways, missing and abducted children, and she has written a novel that tugs at your heartstrings, and has you rooting for the good guys, including the lovable K-9, Blue.
However, if child abduction is a trigger for you, I will warn you that it's central to the plot of this novel, and you might want to choose a different one to read. If the subject matter is not a trigger for you, then I highly recommend Ultimate Justice--it was a great read--well-written, well-plotted and impossible to put down, no matter how late the hour. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions stated are my own.

Ultimate Justice is the 3rd and final book in the K-9 Special Ops series. While this brilliant book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommenend reading the series in order simply to enjoy the deep friendship and camaraderie between the male main characters. Evan and Marlie are both loveable, deeply troubled and traumatized characters who are taking quite a different approach to dealing with their pasts. Yet when the plight of a young child brings them together, they find a love worth fighting for along with the solution to a decades-old puzzle. The perfect blend of suspense, romance, emotions, a wonderful young hero-in-the-making and absolutely adorable canine partners, this book has it all. The HEA even comes with a surprise! Can't wait to see what's next from this author.

This is an entertaining, well-written, fast paced, steamy, romantic suspense novel. It has a sympathetic, intelligent and likable female protagonist, an engaging, strong and capable male protagonist, a heroic K-9, heartbreak, action, suspense, sizzling chemistry, twists and turns, and a happily ever after ending. This is the third and final entry in Ms. O'Fallon's outstanding K-9 Special Ops series, and it can be read as a stand alone. Her loyal readers will appreciate the appearance of characters from the other books in the series. Many thanks to Ms. O'Fallon, Entangled Publishing, LLC, and NetGalley, from whom I received an advanced reader copy of this fantastic novel. This is my honest opinion.

Something drives Evan to do the work he does for the FBI working missing children cases. When he finds a boy, Noah, the two connect and create a bond. Marlie, a janitor at the hospital, also connects with this boy and helps him work through the traumatic experience. The three become sort of like family along with Evan’s dog Blue. While Evan’s team works to find where Noah was kept and getting closer to his personal case, Marlie starts to find more of herself after three long years of grieving. There is a lot happening in this story between the cute dogs, adorable teenager, and the growing romance it’s hard to believe there’s an actual case being solved. The characters are likable, Noah’s demeanor and personality are a bit unrealistic of a preteen, although he’s great he’s definitely more fiction. I enjoyed reading my advanced copy and wrote my review voluntarily.

Ultimate Justice is the third book in Tee O’Fallon’s K-9 Spec Ops series. It is an action-packed, K-9 law enforcement romantic suspense novel with a fantastic storyline, sizzling passion, and well developed characters.
FBI Special Agent Evan McGarry joined the agency as a means of tracking down the sister that went missing over two decades ago. Together with his K-9 Blue, he encounters Marlie Foxe, a grieving mother, who agrees to help him locate a group of missing children. Both Evan and Marlie are going through the motions, but neither are really living. Can they work together to find the children before it’s too late? Will their instant connection and sudden chaotic emotions for each other get in their way or lead to happily ever after? Read it and find out!
Strong, independent heroine grieving the loss of a child meets an alpha protector struggling with guilt and his own tragic loss. Evan and Marlie were amazing together. I loved how they each saw what the other needed and worked to help them grow and change. O’Fallon is a fantastic author with an amazing talent for writing in the romantic suspense genre. This was a phenomenal addition to this amazing and exciting new series.

Ultimate Justice, the third book in the K9 Special Ops series, follows FBI Agent Evan as he tackles a case that hits close to home. Years after the disappearance of his sister, Evan is still haunted by her loss. When his team rescues Noah, an 11-year-old boy, from captivity, Evan sees a potential lead to his sister’s case.
Marlie, a quiet hospital custodian, forms a special bond with Noah when he’s brought in for care. She’s used to keeping to herself, but something about the boy draws her in. This connection catches Evan’s attention, and despite their differences, Evan and Marlie begin to develop feelings for each other.
As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that finding out who held Noah captive could also help Evan uncover the truth about his sister. Alongside his loyal K-9 partner Blue, who brings moments of levity and warmth to the story, Evan navigates the emotional and professional challenges of the case.
The fast-paced plot takes unexpected turns, leading to a twist near the end that surprises both Evan and the reader. Despite the suspense, the book also focuses on the growing romance between Evan and Marlie, their shared emotional journeys, and their connection to Noah. The story ends on a satisfying note with a surprise resolution and a well-earned happily ever after.

A fast paced and topical thriller that sees FBI SA Evan team up with Marlie, Noah and Blue to find children who have been taken by a cult. Evan bears a heavy weight-the disappearance of his own sister- while Marlie has a secret (no spoilers) that makes her reluctant to help him. And Noah. oh Noah. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this- it's a real page turner.

This was excellent. My favorite character is Blue, followed by Noah. The FMC and the MMC were great, but Blue and Noah stole the story. I would love another story showing Noah grown up or a series of books with Blue, Noah Oh and let's not forget Crystal added to the mix. Maybe a YA book. That is how much I loved this story.

Ultimate Justice (K-9 Special Ops, #3) by Tee O'Fallon
Every book by Tee O'Fallon I read is better than the last one. I hated to put this one down. Evan and Marlie both have so much hurt in their lives over someone they lost. Can a dog and a boy help them heal? There is angst, heartbreak, terror, loss, deception of the worst kind, There are the wonderful friends and coworkers, evil people, some laughs and tears, mystery, and plenty of steam to get us to a very HEA,
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Unpredictable Steamy Tear-jerker Entertaining Great world building Romantic Happily Ever After Page-turner Informative Easy-to-read Wonderful characters Haunting Witty Action-packed Tragic Scary.

Wow Ultimate Justice was another great book in the K-9 Special Ops series! FBI agent Evan McGarry is a complex character. He's driven by demons from his past in his search for missing children. When his latest assignment leads him to a kidnapped child, that child leads him to hope in his search for his missing sister. Marlie Foxe is a hospital custodian. When a kidnapped boy ends up at her hospital, she can't help herself from befriending this traumatized child. Marlie has a tragic past as well, which has led her to living a very reclusive life for the last several years. When Evan realizes that this child is the key to discovering an organization that kidnaps and enslaves young runaways, he jumps at the chance that may lead to his missing sister. His problem, the young boy, Noah, will only trust Marlie and she doesn't want to get involved. Evan isn't going to take no for an answer, no matter who he has to bend to his will. These three characters really need to work and trust each other because they're all starving for a connection. I really enjoyed Ultimate Justice. It was told from dual POV and stands alone in the series. You will read about Evan's partners and I do recommend reading their books. It had a lot of action, angst, laughter, heat and ultimately love.

Why haven’t I joined the Tee-train yet? My go-to contemporary is suspense and I am just now reading this author. Wow, it has everything a suspense should have. Suspense (duh), intrigue, non-stop action, situations that will have you gripping your seat, and yes, romance. I cried a good bit during this story it was heartbreaking but at the same time it was uplifting. I could not put it down it was so good. I don’t have a lot of suspense authors I would auto-buy but Tee is now on that list.

This story deals with the heavy topic of child abduction so sensitive readers take heed. It is a fast paced book as FBI Special Agent Evan McGarry tries to track down missing children with a possible connection to a cult. Hospital custodian, Marlie Foxe, is the only adult Noah, who escaped the cult, will talk to. Both MC’s have very believeable tortured pasts. The suspense part was quite riveting. While Evan and Marlie had chemistry, I didn’t really feel the romance. They were too busy trying to track down the kidnappers and missing children to really spend time together for a romantic connection. Blue, the K9, had a very cute romance going on too. This book is the third in a series but it can be read as a stand alone.

This book was action packed to the point that I couldn’t put it down. Evan is a FBI agent working for a special department which involves missing kids. And these cases hit close to home, but has met his match in Marlie the hospital psychiatrist. From their first meet, to both of their worlds being turned upside down to them finding love within it all was so cute. I loved the K9 Blue who is the star of this book. I feel like I was missing something since this is book 3, but its not a full on standalone. But I loved the characters and their HEA was more than I expected.

In this latest and final book of the series, this author once again proves her talent by giving the readers another edge of your seat story with wonderful main characters.
For twenty four years, FBI Special K-9 Agent Evan McGarry, has carried the guilt of the disappearance of his twin sister Gracie. As an FBI agent, he has dedicated his career in locating missing children.
Marlie Foxe, once upon a time a child psychologist, is a shell of herself and nowadays is a hospital custodian after the kidnapping and later death of her little boy.
When Evan finds a young boy locked up in the property of the felon he’s after, the boy, Noah, is taken to the hospital where Marlie works. Noah and Marlie have an instant relationship and the only way Noah will help the FBI is if Marlie is with him.
Thus starts the long road to not only finding more missing children, but the people that have taken them and why.
The story is filled with twists and turns, edge of your seat action, complex, imperfect and very likable main characters, and of course romance.
It’s also thought provoking making the reader aware of the heartbreaking number of children that go missing every year.
This was another winner and a story worth your time.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Agent Evan McGarry is very focused on his job on finding/saving children with his partner Blue. When he stumbles across a lead on his missing sister who he’s been missing for decades he can’t let it go. Marlie Fox is working as a hospital custodian and trying to blend in after her world shattered 3 years ago. Marlie quickly bonds with a patient who is a witness and the key to solving Agent Evan’s case which puts her in his crosshairs. Evan and Marlie ignite more than just passion in each other. This suspenseful story has lots of secrets to uncover and traumas to heal. While Evan, Noah and Marlie spend time together working on this case they find that they all make a pretty good team. While you’re falling in love with this “family” you’ll be on the adventure to solve who actually is the mastermind behind this cult/child abduction ring. Get ready to not want to put the book down. Forced Proximity, Grump falls hard

Tee O’Fallon was a new author to me, but based on the book description, I was immediately intrigued. Growing up on too many episodes of Law and Order-type shows, I knew there would be aspects about this book that would be hard (topics like kidnapping, grief/loss), but there were so many moments in the book that were all about love and finding what truly makes a person live. This will be as spoiler free as possible… Watching Noah bring Marlie back to life was incredibly powerful throughout the book. Although I haven’t dealt with loss like Marlie, it was so well done in the book. It was hard seeing Evan be torn in two throughout the book - between the life he has and a life he never thought he could have - but seeing Noah and Marlie in his life made me hopeful for him. This was a quick read for me with plenty of spice and romance. I didn’t read the first two books in the series, as this is truly a standalone, but after meeting the MMC from books 1 and 2, I am definitely going back to read their stories! I am so glad I read this story (and met Blue)!

Perfect for romantic suspense lovers!
I really enjoy Tee O'Fallon's writing. The story is exciting and the romance is hot & sweet. O'Fallon also does a great job developing characters. Evan and Marlie felt like real people. Plus we get Blue the dog!
I found the romance to be romantic and sexy. I really enjoyed the relationship between Evan and Marlie. Evan was a dreamboat. He is the man you want by your side in a crisis. Marlie felt super relatable and I liked her character a lot. I love animals as characters so Blue was probably my favorite haha.
The story is exciting and keeps you on your toes. Non-stop action and a great mystery/suspense storyline.
Part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Highly recommend if you like this genre.

The author does not disappoint on this story. Evan has been looking for his missing twin sister since they were 16 years old. He has always blamed himself for her disappearance and has felt like is parents have blamed him as well. He has been searching for her while working for the FBI - search and rescue for kidnapped / exploited children. He comes upon a house owned by a suspected child abductor and finds a 11 year old boy in the cellar / basement area - along with pictures of other children that have been taken / kidnapped, the pictures include Evan's sister (when she was 16 years old).
Marlie has worked in a local hospital as a janitor for the past three years. Three years ago her son was taken - and was found dead by the FBI. She feels that she was to blame - because he was taken while they were at their local park. He was playing and she looked at her phone for a minute - and he was gone the next minute. Marlie is a trained as a child therapist - but after her son was taken, she felt she felt like she could no longer help anyone.
Jonah needs Marlie and Evan to help him find his friend from the camp he escaped from (where the kidnappers kept them). Marlie agrees to be Noah's temporary guardian with the help of Evan.
Evan and his crew find some shocking findings about the group of people that have been stealing children and forcing them to work on the farm / ranch to grow Marijana.
I don't want to give th ending away - but Evan and his sister due find each other.

Amazing, trained K-9s, backstories that will bring tears to your eyes, a headstrong heroine, and a handsome, determined protector: Tee O'Fallon delivered with Ultimate Justice! The final book in the K-9 Special Ops series brought all the drama and heat that long-time readers of O'Fallon know and love. Ultimate Justice is a beautiful and heart-wrenching conclusion to the trilogy so make sure to have a box of tissues nearby! We've been waiting for Evan's story since Book 1 and now it is finally his turn.
Both haunted by their pasts, Evan and Marlie are stuck in a fast-paced race against time and everything hinges upon their working together, or risk being swallowed by the pain they couldn't outrun.
A fitting ending to a wonderful trilogy, this will definitely be on my "re-read" list!
Not only does Tee O'Fallon write beautifully complex characters, but she also writes incredibly talented K-9s that are every bit as integral to the story as the human characters. So if you're looking for heart-pounding adventure, swoon-worthy romance, and a storyline that will gather all of the broken pieces up and glue them back together, Ultimate Justice will be a fantastic read for you.
