Orlando is a classic for a reason. Chock-full of symbolism and gender politics, all while being a love letter to the author's girlfriend? A parodical biography of an immortal, gender-fluid nobleperson living through centuries of history? It's great. You should read it.
But why this version? Well, it has two insightful introductions that provide good context and frame the novel well. It has tons, and I mean hundreds, of end notes that explain the little references and antiquated terms. And the cover is rad. In short, read Orlando for sure, and choose this edition.
