I really enjoyed the vibes of Llama Quest book 1, and I was sooo happy to also get an arc of book 2. I really enjoyed the expansion of the world we saw in book 1, and yay for more magical creatures! There's also alicorns, which I've only ever seen so far in Keeper of the Lost Cities, so I'm glad to see them get more love. Only downside to me is that the "tension" between the two MCs seemed to appear at the start, got addressed with random little "I'm jealous of her" moments that just got abruptly resolved, but oh well. Overall, it continues to be a fun, adorable adventure for young kids :D
