This is a fun middle grade novel. It starts on Lonehorn Island but most of the story takes place in Terracornus (a magical land Ben and the unicorns come from). Secrets about Ben and his family are revealed. I did not care for the Boy King Reynold. He was too arrogant and bratty. Griffin I did not like at first but as I got to know him that changed. I hope there will be more to this series. Like the first book, it does end but I want to know what happens with the family and honestly would love to see Twig grow up more. She really matured from the first book, I was very please with her character. Casey was adorable!
