The pace is steady, the plotline is gripping and i was hooked after a few chapters. This is one of those books you can't say too much about as I would spoil it for potential readers. There were times when i was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put the book down.

The latest Josie Quinn book takes us back in time to some of Josie’ and the teams biggest cases and to one huge case that happened before we met Josie. If you’re a regular reader you will probably “enjoy” seeing some old characters from the series. But even if you aren’t caught up on the series, this book will keep you guessing and turning pages. We get to know the newest member of the team, Kyle Turner, a little better. As well as learning a new connection he has to Josie. I have to say he’s slowly growing on me.
Book 21 is a wild goose chase with Josie and the team always a step behind. There’s a serial killer on the loose in Denton. And he’s playing a game that nobody knows the rules to. While Josie, Noah, Gretchen and Turner (I’m not giving him first name privileges yet) try to piece together the pieces of the puzzle to get the whole picture, someone is working hard to get payback. Payback for what is the big question? And will they figure it out in time?

Loved this storyline. I read through the book in no time, kept my attention throughout, Lisa Regan's done it again. I really liked seeing Det. Turners interactions with the other characters starting to unfold. It's driving me crazy to want to learn more about his backstory! Like what's his story what happened to make him go from the guy Trinity seems to know to the guy who first joined their team and got on everyone's nerves and rubbed them the wrong way. There's definitely a story there that I can't wait to figure out, ideas are already floating in my head. I also Loved Drakes surprise for Trinity. And seeing Josies family all growing and changing. Great read!

Lisa Regan gives more of Detective Josie Quinn's back story in Remember Her Name. The book opens with Josie on one of her first cases when she became a police officer... and by the end, the author ties the entire story together so perfectly. In present time, a baby is found in a pram... crying. When Josie and team arrive, it's apparent the baby's mother is missing (potentially kidnapped). They also find a blurry polaroid that the killer left as a clue. When they notify the Father, Josie knows something is off... Josie studies the polaroid and has a guess at the location, and when they arrive, they find the missing mother and another polaroid photo. Incredibly well-written and with one of the best supporting casts around, Remember Her Name will keep you up well past your bedtime as you learn more and more about Josie's start and how these murders link to past cases. I absolutely love this series!! A great big thank you to Bookouture for an advanced reader of this book. The opinions expressed are my own.

Incredible writing! Such complexity of storylines which frazzled my brain! Love Josie Quinn as a character with such a compelling backstory. This book has so many red herrings I felt like I was swimming in a whirlpool! I'm actually really warming to Turner despite his apparent misogyny and Noah,as always, steals my heart. I love the touching relationship between him and Josie. Brilliant narrator, intricate plotlines, suspense and thrills to keep you awake til the last page. Brilliant!

This was phenomenal! A rare kind of read where I really didn't want to keep reading but because I never wanted it to end but also couldn't put it down.

Swipe for the book description - in a nutshell, a woman is abducted and her baby left alone in a park. The race is on to find the mum but clues prop up to suggest it may be a serial perp.

Really original. I like how Regan ties in past books or cases where possible. She is also further introducing us to the new member of the team and I kind of like him tbh, probably sooner than expected 😂.

I'm sure you're already well aware if you've been here a while that I highly recommend the Josie Quinn series to all PP lovers and esp this one.

5 stars - another thrilling winner from Lisa Regan

I truly applaud Regan for keeping this series fresh and engaging. This is book #21, and I was as eager to read this one as when I first started the series. The difference now is that the characters feel like close friends, and I do NOT want any harm to come to them! (I know you are listening Lisa Regan!)

This one opens with a heartbreaking scene: a baby is abandoned in a park, and the mom, Cleo, is missing. One clue is left behind: a blood-smeared blurry Polaroid of water. Could it be a clue to where Cleo is now? Or something else?

Josie and the team of Noah, Gretchen, and Turner begin a frantic race to decipher the clue. The picture is fuzzy, but something niggles at Josie’s brain. She finally recalls that it could be showing Cold Heart Creek, seared into her memory as a past crime scene. As Cleo’s husband is investigated, Josie heads to the creek.

As more bodies are found and more cryptic Polaroids puzzle the team, things begin to take a desperate turn in Denton. Who is behind all this, and when will it end? And is it all somehow connected to Josie?

This one was complex, well-plotted, and such a page-turner. And in between all the mayhem, we still get developments in Noah and Josie’s personal lives. And we are getting a glimpse that Turner might not be as awful as first thought. There’s more to his character for sure!

I love that Lisa Regan is a quick writer so I won’t have to wait too long for the next one. Bring it on!

These books make for excellent buddy reads. Be sure to check out Carolyn and Debra’s reviews to see if they enjoyed it too.

I have read every book in this series and loved them!! I think this was definitely at the top of the list for the darkest, creepiest intense book in the series.

We begin with a scene from Josie’s past - when she was a rookie cop. Hard to think of her that way but she was faced with a situation that literally made her sick - it was also a time when a woman was seen as inferior on the police force. She had to learn to take it all, the dirtiest work, the snickers, etc. That was Josie then!!

Now she is faced with a case that has the entire team questioning what to do next. She is called to the scene of an abandoned baby in a pram. Josie and Turner find the infant screaming, unharmed but with blood on her back and a polaroid picture underneath!!

They identify the missing woman as Cleo Tate and follow Josie’s instincts and the killer’s clues to find the missing woman – Josie remembers this place from another crime. What does this mean?

Well readers, you are on the trail of a killer who is leaving “picture” clues along the way - they seem to point to previous cases that Josie has solved, but she can’t put it all together - yet!

This book was so multi-layered and complex I didn’t have a clue what was going on - along with Josie’s team! From the blurb “The link between these women is key to cracking the case. Someone wants revenge, and won’t stop until their story is told, and no one involved is left breathing. Can Josie stop them before any more precious lives are taken? And just what will it cost her?”

There is a lot going on in this book and you’d better stay sharp. This is a book that is hard to put down and you may find yourself scribbling some notes - I did.

I will leave you to discover the rest of this breathtaking police procedural - this is Josie at the top of her game. Lisa Regan never fails to impress and this series keeps getting better.

I received an ARC of this novel from the publisher through NetGalley. It was my pleasure to read and review this title.

How about a gazillion stars? Another grand slam! Josie and team have their work cut out for them in this book. Polaroid pictures tell a story they must figure out to find the killer. Read it! I highly recommend the entire series. Thanks to NetGalley, Bookoutre and the Author for allowing me to read and review this

Detective Josie Quinn and her husband are trying to adopt a baby, but their busy lives make it difficult to focus on what needs to be done to complete the process. When a baby is discovered in a park with no sign of her mother, Josie and her team begin a case that will keep them guessing without any clear evidence. When they find the mother's body, it is only a matter of time before the disappearances become more frequent. What is the common denominator among the victims? Who is kidnapping and killing these people? Amid the case, Josie's sister gets a surprise proposal from her boyfriend. The joys and the struggles keep everyone moving at a fast pace to solve a case and find time to breathe. What will happen next? I can't wait for the next book.

Remember Her Name by Lisa Regan was a crazy and tense ride! Once again, this is another great book in the Josie Quinn series. The prologue had me wondering how it tied into the main story, but the author does an amazing job of slowly revealing the plot and numerous twists and turns that had me reading well into the night.

I really enjoy these characters, and they feel like old friends. Turner is such a frustrating and yet fun character. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Josie and Noah and their adoption process.

Some of the scenes were so well thought out and plotted and how Josie was able to connect the puzzle pieces. This author has a writing style that makes reading these books effortless. I get lost in the stories and the characters.

Remember Her Name by Lisa Regan is a gripping crime thriller. I would highly, highly recommend this series and this new book.

Remember Her Name
Lisa Regan
September 17, 2024

We are back in Denton, Pennsylvania. It’s a hot, humid day and Detective Josie Quinn is standing outside a caller’s home. Elderly Margaret Bonitz is certain that someone has broken into her home. Nothing appears to be stolen but she is certain that she and her dog are in danger. Josie’s colleague, Kyle Turner has entered the home to do the room to room search. Yes, a classic day it seems for the small town police department of Denton. All were in hopes of returning to the department for iced drinks and air conditioning until the phones started ringing. A baby was found in her stroller in the park. No sign of her parents - only the mother’s cell phone that she had used to dial 911.
Remember Her Name will be published by Bookouture on September 14, 2024. This will be Lisa Regan’s 21st book in the Detective Josie Quinn series. I was able to read and review Remember Her Name via NetGalley. I appreciate Bookouture allowing me to read her next in this terrific series. Once again, I am astounded by the cloak and dagger storyline that Regan provides her readers. It seems that each new sequel becomes more on edge and eerie than the last. Her fans are waiting for this one while suspense readers should pick up this harrowing new tale. Enjoy!

“Remember Her Name” is the 21st book in Lisa Regan's compelling Josie Quinn series. In this installment, Detective Josie Quinn embarks on a tense search for a missing mother, Cleo Tate, which leads her to Cold Heart Creek and a twisted killer's deadly game involving photos and past crime scenes. As the investigation intensifies, Josie must confront painful memories from her past to stop the killer before more lives are taken.

As a long-time fan of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed this latest entry, though I found it a bit convoluted at times. Some of the plot twists left me feeling lost, requiring me to carefully keep track of the characters and events. However, the engaging dynamic between Josie and Noah continues to be a highlight, even if the subplot of them starting a family feels somewhat drawn out. Turner is also growing on me, though I think the ongoing comments about him could be toned down a bit.

Overall, “Remember Her Name” is another solid entry in the Josie Quinn series. I appreciate NetGalley for the early release copy in exchange for an honest review. I’m giving it 4 stars.

There’s a serial killer who seems to be playing games with law enforcement. The killer leaves Polaroid pictures at the scene of his crimes, but they don’t offer many clues until it finally clicks in Josie’s mind that she recognizes the locations from past cases. But what story is the killer trying to tell with the photos and the deaths, and what does it have to do with Josie?

Twists, turns, danger, drama, and more! This is an awesome addition to the series. We also see some positive changes in Kyle Turner, too.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

After an author writes about 15 books in a series one usually gets bored and moves on. But not the case with this author and series.

I love Josie and her family. I love she is a strong female character who doesn’t hesitate to do what’s right.

This series could go on forever and I still think Lisa Regan would find new ways for Josie to solve crime.

Thank you to netgalley, the author and the publisher for the advance copy to read.

I have only recently discovered the Josie Quinn series and flew through all 21 in no time at all.

This, like the rest of the series, is a wonderful mix of crime investigation, relationships and clever turns.

I really enjoy Lisa Regans writing style and how she gets the perfect balance in all the books. Often times I cannot work out who the culprit is.

I'd recommend this series to anyone.

This is another page turner in the Josie Quinn series! The situations are very realistic and the characters and plots are well thought out. When the detectives are called to a park because of an abandoned baby they set out on a path that seems to make them one step behind a killer. There are lots of possibilities for a killer but which one is the actual killer! Josie, Noah and all the detectives as well as the police officers in Denton, Texas, set out to figure out the clues left with dead bodies. The author appears to add a bit of humor to the story at the expense of the newest member of the team, Kyle Turner. Maybe he’ll finally prove himself in the next book! If you’re a fan of thrillers with lots of twists this is the series for you. I’m anxious to get my hands on the next book in this series. While this can be a stand-alone book I feel it would be better to start with the first book in the series to know how things progress for Josie in both her personal and professional lives. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.

Irresistibly intriguing!

Lisa again delivers a plot that draws you in and holds you captive as Josie and the team track a serial killer, one playing a game with them, but what is their endgame?

Book 21 is a masterful mystery, with unexpected twists and characteristic heartfelt moments of the beloved main cast.

Fans of the series, you will devour this one quickly!

Detective Josie Quinn and her cast of characters are doing what they do best which is solve murders. It seems the team is working more cohesively after the death of their colleague. Josie is back to more herself in this book. Everyone families seem to be extending and I am excited to see how that shakes out in future books. Also, the work relationship with Turner and Quinn appears to be going in a positive direction.

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for the Advanced Read Copy. Also, thank you Lisa Regan!
