Wonderful addition to the Josie Quinn series. I have read them all and they just get better and better. Josie, Noah and Gretchen are having a hard time accepting Turner. As the newest member of the team he has added yet another element to this story. The storyline will keep you rivited and up way too late

This is another riveting, tension filled read in the Josie Quinn series of books. They never disappoint with the imaginative plotting, clever writing and excellent characterisation. I really like the developing characterisation of Turner, he is beginning to grow on me! The fast pace makes this a complete rollercoaster of a ride from start to finish and readers are in for a treat! thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

This 21st instalment in Lisa Regan’s Josie Quinn series is one fans won’t want to miss. It’s gritty, dark and very intense.

It all starts with a baby abandoned in a park, her mother abducted with a blurry polaroid photo left in the stroller eventually leading Josie to her body and another polaroid related to a past crime scene. Further bodies and polaroid photos linking to old crime scenes will take Josie back to a heinous crime committed during her early days as a rookie.

This is an excellent addition to the series. It’s quite a complex and fast paced mystery with a lot going on as Josie and her team race from one crime scene to the next, all the time puzzling about how the victims and the location of their bodies are being chosen. As always, there is also some time for character development, with Josie and Noah now preparing a video for the adoption agency, a sweet engagement and some fun at the expense of their newest recruit, Kyle Turner who has been put on notice to be on his best behaviour by Noah. Hopefully we’ll find out his back story in the next episode (as well as why he is forever scrolling on his phone). Altogether it makes for a gripping read with plenty of tension, some great twists and not one but two suspenseful climactic scenes.

Walking through the maze of Lisa Regan's Remember Her Name has you anxiously peeking around every twist and turn trying to anticipate the true evil monster's reveal...but hang onto your seat because this wild ride will end with you being sideswiped like you'd never believe! There is no other author that can mesmerize you from the first sentence to the last like Lisa Regan. She pulls you into the life of Josie Quinn and takes you to a place in your mind that no Hollywood producer could ever begin to compete with. Josie's world, thoughts and feelings become a part of you as you ride along with her investigating the case. I'm blown away that Lisa Regan not only found a way to outdo herself once again, but also made one annoying character grow on me and make me wonder what he'll do next.

I cannot get enough of Lisa Regan’s Josie Quinn series. Remember Her Name starts with a horrific crime scene that not only brings us into Josie’s police world but also her sense of morality and passion. It continues to build tension and trauma and excitement and fear from there. With Josie and her team working almost non-stop, I feel their exhaustion and then their energy when they get a lead. In addition to being a great procedural, I loved the slow evolution of the new guy, Turner, and the hints about his past. I wouldn’t want to live in the city of Denton, but I want to visit there alongside Josie as often as I can. We are so fortunate that Regan is a fast writer!

Thank you to Bookouture, Netgalley, and the author, Lisa Regan, for early access to this latest entry in this gripping series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Remember Her Name" is an electrifying, pulse-pounding installment in the Detective Josie Quinn series that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Lisa Regan has outdone herself yet again, weaving a story so intricately that you can't help but be drawn into Josie's world, where every clue, every revelation, and every twist brings you closer to a heart-stopping conclusion.

The opening scene is as haunting as it is gripping—a lifeless woman, a baby left behind, and a blood-smeared polaroid photo. From this chilling start, the plot unravels with masterful precision. Josie's determination to find Cleo Tate and uncover the truth behind the sinister events that follow is palpable, and you can feel the weight of every second ticking away as more lives hang in the balance.

What makes this book truly stand out is the depth of Josie's character development. We see her battling not only the external threats but also the demons from her past. The connection to Cold Heart Creek, a case that still haunts her, adds an extra layer of tension and urgency. Lisa Regan brilliantly ties together past and present, creating a narrative that is as emotionally charged as it is suspenseful.

The twists and turns in "Remember Her Name" are nothing short of breathtaking. Just when you think you've figured it out, Regan throws in another curveball, keeping you guessing until the very last page. The villain's motives and the chilling game they play with Josie are revealed in a way that is both shocking and satisfying.

As a long-time fan of the series, I can confidently say that this book is one of the best yet. And if you're new to Detective Josie Quinn, don't worry—this novel can stand alone, though I highly recommend starting from the beginning to fully appreciate the character arcs and storylines that have built up to this point.

Fans of Angela Marsons, Robert Dugoni, and Rachel Caine will not be disappointed. Lisa Regan continues to prove why she is a powerhouse in the crime thriller genre, and "Remember Her Name" is a must-read for anyone who loves a fast-paced, heart-stopping mystery. I’m already counting down the days until the next book—I just know it's going to be another wild ride!
Thanks to Ms.Regan, the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review

Another gripping and in places moments when I had to hold my breath as Josie came close to being in danger, There is one character with a back story that hopefully will be revealed some more in the next book and who up to now had few redeeming qualities but is starting to grow on me. As usual the only downside is having to wait for the next book.

Number 21 and they just keep getting better! Complex plot with more secrets, lies, red herrings, and suspense than you can ever guess. The action just keeps coming and the team is spot on. Great characters, and after 21 books, feel like I know them! But can easily be standalone too, but why not read them all.

*CRACK* That is the sound of Lisa Regan hitting it out of the ball park yet again! Be sure to Remember Her Name, it's Lisa Regan and she writes riveting, intense, addictive, pulse pounding, page turners!!!!!!! I loved being back with Josie and the gang in Denton, PA! It is always a pleasure to read another thrilling book in the Josie Quinn series. This book was an awesome addition to one of my favorite book series.

A baby has been found in a stroller in a park, while her mother is nowhere to be found. What is found is a polaroid picture of a body of water which was left in the infant's stroller. Josie is determined to figure out what and where the body of water is in the polaroid. Then she remembers, the water in the polaroid is Cold Heart Creek, the scene of one of Josie's first crime scenes. When another polaroid and victim is found, it is a race against time to bring a killer to justice! They say pictures tell a story, what story is the killer trying to tell??????? Josie and team will do whatever it takes to figure that out.

Woohoo!!!! This book was fabulous. I love the gripping mystery in this book. I also enjoyed the cleverly crafted and well thought out plot. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages, while enjoying the brilliant mix of Josie's private life and her detective work. It is always great to see Josie's family and they play a nice part in this book. I also had my fingers crossed for Noah and Josie as they continue to make plans for their future.

But wait, then there is Turner! He used to drive me (Josie & Gretchen) crazy with this "sweethearts" and annoying statements and comments. But, dare I say it, I am warming up to him and enjoyed seeing Josie begin to see him in a new light. But I have to say, there was a part in this book where he said "sweetheart" and I laughed with glee.

As with the other books in this series, Remember Her Name has a nice amount of twists, turns, dread, danger, tension, and pulse pounding moments! I devoured this book and loved every second of it. I am so happy that Lisa Regan is a fast writer as I can't wait to read what happens next!

Wonderfully written, addictive, thrilling, and hard to put down!!

Another great book in the Josie Quinn series. As usual there are some great twists and surprises, it was hard to put it down. I really like how the author combines the characters personal lives throughout the story. I can't wait for book 22.

As always, the cases involving Josie Quinn are fast paced and intense. This one starts with a baby found in a park with a bloody polaroid picture underneath her. The race begins to find the mother Cleo with the only clue, the photo. Unfortunately, by the time Josie figures it out, it is too late for Cleo and they are left with yet another picture to figure out. The suspects are many and several people are hiding things from Josie and her squad including the husband and her father. Just when you think you have it figured out, there is a twist and it leaves you guessing all over again. I finally quit trying to figure out who was behind the murders and just read quicker. I did not see the ending coming. This story was a puzzle wrapped in a riddle inside a mystery. The only light-hearted moments were the interactions between Turner and the rest of the team with the money he had to pay for his "inappropriate" comments back to his colleagues and the addition of Drake and Trinity's engagement. The rest of the story was all action and mystery.

Lisa Regan has written another great thriller in the Josie Quinn series. Remember Her Name is the 21th book in this series. It is just as thrilling and well written as the first. A young mother is found murdered and under her body was a Polaroid picture and within a couple of days another woman was also found with a picture on her body. It is soon apparent that the killer is trying to tell a story with all the pictures, can Josie and her team figure out what the killer is trying to tell them before there are more victims. This book grabbed me from the first chapter and didn’t let go till the last. I highly recommend this book if you like a good thriller, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to Bookouture and Netgalley for this arc.

Book Title: Remember Her Name
Author: Lisa Regan
Series: Detective Josie Quinn Book #21
Publisher: Bookouture
Genre: Mystery Thriller
Pub Date: September 17, 2024
My Rating: 4.4 Stars
Pages: 302

If you are new to Josie Quinn you will miss a lot of back information but I believe you will still enjoy it. Author, Lisa Regan does try to review Josie’s childhood so that hew readers are not completely lost.
When Josie was three weeks old she was kidnapped by the Lila Jensen the woman who cleaned her parents’ home. She set the house on fire; which had the authorities believe Josie died in the fire. Lila took Josie to Eli Matson in Denton and told him he was the father. He believe her and ending up raising Josie until he died when she was six. She was then raised and loved by Lisette Matson the woman she thought was her real grandmother.
Additionally we have been following Josie and Noah’s journey on their way of becoming parents. Unable to have children of their own they are in the finally stage in adopting a child.

Josie and her husband Noah are part of a four-person investigative team which includes Gretchen Palmer and the new guy Detective Kyle Turner described as the most loathsome.
Dispatch gets a call of a baby sitting in a stroller in the park with no adult around. A woman named Cleo Tate called 911 but she is not at the scene, When Josie and the other arrive Josie immediately picks the baby girl to comfort her. Cleo Tate’s phone is in the cup holder on the stroller and nestled in the baby’s blanket a Polaroid photo, the corner smudged with blood.

Story gets more and more involved and Detective Kyle Turner gets more and more annoying.
However, I just love Josie and Noah and anxious to hear more on what it happening regarding becoming parents; but need to stay turn to Book #22!!!
Also have a feeling we are going to find out why Detective Turner is so mean- he definitely doesn’t like women~ I am sure something or someone triggered this!!

In Lisa Regan’s “A Letter from Lisa, she tells us that this was a lot of fun to write. (Yikes! Had me stressed the whole time!)
She goes on to state that it revisited Josie’s greatest hits!
Her goal was to give us readers a few hours of thrilling entertainment.
(Yes! she did THAT!)

I boarded the Lisa Regan/Josie Quinn train late but have read most and I call myself a big fan of both [author: Lisa Regan|6443334] as well as Josie!

Remember Her Name Det Josie Quinn #21

The story begins with an unexpected first hand look at Josie as a raw rookie and what helped shaped her into the super detective she’s become since the series began. A baby found alone in the park, her missing mother and a blurry Polaroid are all Josie and the team have to go on as the clock starts ticking. Another victim, another blurry Polaroid, and Josie has to dig deep into the past to put the puzzle together. The suspense, drama, lies and deceit are expertly woven into this high stakes story and Lisa has once again delivered an outstanding tale from start to finish.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for providing me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Brilliant...a jaw dropping thriller that will have new readers wanting more and lovers of the series wanting to read it all again.

Josie and team are called to the park to investigate a baby abandoned in a stroller. A polaroid is found in the stroller, but what does it mean? It becomes clear the mother is in danger as Josie figures out the location in the polaroid. Cold Heart Creek. A place Josie is familiar with from having worked a case there. There they find the body of the mother with another polaroid. What does this one mean and will the team figure it out before the killer takes another victim?

Lisa Regan knocked this one out of the park. Definitely a five star read.
