A wonderful, inclusive picture book about taking inspiration from the smallest of things and what can become of it.
Beautifully illustrated with a lovely story for all ages.
πͺπππ§ ππ‘π¦π£ππ₯ππ¦ takes you on a lovely and adventurous journey where there are endless possibilities for adventure and fun! With its easy to read passages and stunning illustrations, it is sure to become a classroom favourite. Highly recommend.
What Inspires shows the magic of using your imagination and creativity to make memories with friends, and a journey into artistic endeavors. Three friends visit the park, and are inspired by the moving wind to dance to their own beat, causing a chain reaction amongst more park goers. Their imaginative inspiration helped me play with more friends at the park, and their new ideas stayed with these friends long past their day at the park. This book is very sweet, but the concept might be difficult for younger readers. I would use this book in a lesson about imagination, inspiration, and lessons on art. This book resonates with the artist in me, and this has heavily impacted my view on the book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this advanced copy of What Inspires, in exchange for an honest review.
What inspires was a delightful book. Itβs about 3 friends who go to the park. Itβs quiet, and nothing seems to be happening- but something is. Kids start getting inspiration from different things at the park to create an environment of play and imagination. Itβs a story about getting creative using the things and people around you . I loved this and think itβs a perfect book for kids to read to encourage free play. Would recommend!
The book was beautifully written. The illustrations are beautiful and keep the eye moving. Overall, the book was well written and I did really enjoy it.
"What inspires" is a beautiful children's book about imagination and how it can inspire us by day and by night. The illustrations are particularly beautiful and the message is important for children to hear. I would recommend this book!
What a darling childrens book!! As a previous preschool teacher and now a mom of four, this book should be in everyones home. It had such an important message and kids need to hear parents reading this to them! Highly recommend!
This was a sweet book to read with my young son. We both enjoyed the illustrations! I loved how whimsical they felt. The text was engaging and a great way to help foster imagination.
When I was a kid, there was a book about a little girl who smiled at a random passer-by who was having a bad day. This small act of a smile changed a man's day, who then went on to help another stranger, who then went on and did a kind act for someone else. Still to this day, I remember the effect that book had on me. There was the idea that small acts of kindness, though seemingly inconspicuous, have the power to make a big difference. I downloaded this book because the description sounded similar, and I was not disappointed. I believe this book has the same emotion to it; the same feeling that will no doubt change the way that kids think about inspiring others.
I will be adding this book to my classroom's shelf.
I really like the pictures in this book! It can be used to teach a classroom full of second graders how to use their imagination!
Beautifully illustrated, this book helps to highlight that there is always something to do and always something happening.
Thank you for the gifted arc! The illustrations were so beautiful and kept my daughter engaged. I love the message of using creativity and imagination!
As a third grade teacher, I really enjoyed this book. Not only was the artwork absolutely beautiful, the message of the domino effect of creativity and that inspiration is all around us is incredible. I try to keep my students as creative as possible because children truly come up with the most creative ideas. I love that it not only talks about finding inspiration and creativity in the world around us, but also touches on how our dreams can be the most creative of places! I will be recommending this book to our librarian as well as adding it to our classroom library.
