Having never read about any of Sally's adventures before, I wasn't sure what to expect... Now Sally's a new favorite of mine and im planning to read them all!

I'll be purchasing this book for my son when it gets published, just in time for snow to start falling.

The incorporation of counting, routines and open-ended questions gives this book educational value on top of just being adorable. I'd highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy, cute read to snuggle up with in the winter.

{Thank you to NetGalley, Andrew Larson, Dawn Lo and publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review!}

Sally's Snow Day was a very enjoyable quick read. Andrew Larsen's children's book takes its readers on a journey of a typical snow day between a boy and his dog. Larsen uses Sally's Snow Day to intrigue his young readers to take some time and enjoy the snow with their best pal on a particularly snowy day.

As a teacher and avid dog lover, I knew immediately that I was probably going to want to add this book to my classroom library - and I was right! I absolutely adored this book. What a sweet story about a child and their dog having a snow day together. The truth is most kids love dogs, and most children love a good snow day... it is truthfully the perfect concept for a child's book!

The artwork is beautiful and colorful, yet simple and not overdone. The book implements concepts such as counting the dogs boots for younger kids and helping kids understand the concept of dressing for cold weather. This book would be a great addition to any early-education classroom as well as even a special education classroom as well!

This is an adorable picture book perfect for toddlers, especially entering into fall and winter, when you need them to put on boots and coats. I liked that it was simple with easy to understand pictures. I especially liked that it had counting and opposites in it as well. I read it to my two year old and she counted with me and pointed to the dogs so it was a hit!
