I won't continue with this series myself, but I enjoyed trying the first book. It wasn't my personal style, but I'm glad that I gave Fforde's books a try because I think teens will enjoy them. I'll definitely recommend them for Readers' Advisories.

I love Jasper Fforde, and I love this series. Fans of Thursday Next will find echoes of those books in this YA fantasy series, but if you didn't like those books, give him another chance with these.
