This was an amazing ending into the series. I devoured the series. It is definitely one of my Roman empires. I love the character development the world building everything about this is just so perfect to me. This author did an amazing job and storytelling, and the way the characters are feeling.

I've read book one and instantly loved it, once the second one came out I was super excited but afraid it was going to disappoint but I did not! Had me hooked. The 3rd was also great. It was thrilling and very enjoyable.

Zara Storm’s The Realm That Falls to Her is a fast-paced, high-stakes fantasy that plunges readers into a world of warring realms, dark magic, and a romance bound by fate. As the third book in The Gold Weaver series, it delivers on both action and emotional depth, while continuing the complex dynamics between its central characters.

The novel follows the protagonist as she stands on the brink of two collapsing worlds: the human realm, where her father is held captive by a cruel king, and the fae realm, where her mate, Ruskin, a dangerous fae prince, has mysteriously disappeared. The stakes couldn’t be higher—both realms are in chaos, and the protagonist must navigate this turmoil while grappling with her growing fae powers and an ominous new prophecy.

One of the novel’s standout elements is the tension Storm builds between the protagonist’s humanity and her transformation into something more fae. The internal conflict as she struggles with her powers, and the fear that she may become just as cruel and violent as the worst of the fae, adds a layer of psychological depth to her character. This evolution in her abilities is carefully balanced with the external conflict, as she faces the cruel fae queen Evanthe, who is determined to tear apart the Seelie Court using dark, corrupted magic.

The relationship between the protagonist and Ruskin remains central to the story, and Storm does a fantastic job maintaining the emotional connection between the two characters, even when they are physically separated. Ruskin’s absence for much of the book heightens the sense of urgency, and his mysterious disappearance into an unnamed, forbidden place adds intrigue. The slow-burn romance from earlier books has developed into a deeper, more intense bond, and while the romance doesn’t overshadow the plot, it provides a strong emotional core to the story.

The plot itself is tightly woven, filled with twists, betrayals, and moments of high tension as the protagonist battles to save both her father and the fae realm. Storm’s world-building remains vivid and immersive, seamlessly blending the human and fae worlds while expanding on the fae court politics introduced in previous installments. The dichotomy between the Seelie and Unseelie Courts adds another layer of complexity to the fae realm, and the rising threat of Evanthe’s dark magic creates palpable tension throughout the narrative.

However, the pacing, while intense, can feel rushed at times, especially during the novel’s climactic moments. Some plot developments—particularly the reveal of the new prophecy—could have benefited from more buildup to enhance their impact. The terrifying prophecy that hints at the possibility that the protagonist and Ruskin might not be the saviors of the fae, but instead their doom, is a compelling twist, but it feels like more could have been done to explore the emotional fallout of this revelation.

While The Realm That Falls to Her continues to build on the character development from previous books, new readers may find themselves lost without the context of earlier installments. This third book is very much a continuation of a larger arc, and Storm doesn’t spend much time recapping prior events. Longtime fans of the series, however, will appreciate the way the story pushes the characters and plot forward, with the stakes feeling higher than ever.

Final Thoughts:
The Realm That Falls to Her delivers a thrilling continuation of The Gold Weaver series, filled with dark magic, political intrigue, and the emotional complexity of a protagonist torn between two worlds. While the pacing may feel rushed at times, Zara Storm keeps readers on the edge of their seats with intense action and romantic tension. The evolving powers of the protagonist and the ominous prophecy make this a compelling entry in the series, and fans of fae fantasy with high stakes and a blend of romance and magic will find much to enjoy in this installment.

I absolutely loved this book! I read it in one setting because it was so good and I could not get enough of the characters. I really loved the characters the author created and there journey that they took. The story was fast paced but detailed where I felt immersed but not bored. I will be recommending this book to all of my family and friends.

4.5/5 - the final book of the Gold Weaver trilogy. Picking up right after book 2 - Ruskin has disappeared mid battle with the evil queen Evanthe. Eleanor, now desperate to find him, is searching through the Seelie kingdom and even into the Unseelie lands as well, all while being chased by soldiers. Eventually they find Ruskin in a portal land in between - kind of like Limbo. But something seems off - he no longer has his memories. Ella is also changed from her time in between. Now seeking refuge in the Unseelie court, they face unknown enemies and challenges. All the while, war continues to brew between the human - seelie - Unseelie kingdoms. This was such a good trilogy for a debut author, the writing is excellent, good spice but not to excess, lots of action. A great conclusion to the series.

The Realm That Falls To Her- Zara Storm
5✨
The 3rd and I think final book in The Gold Weaver series. As with book 1 and 2 I absolutely loved every second of it. I think one of my favourite parts of this book was the game bastet Ella played, I can’t quite put my finger on why I loved it so much, maybe it was because we got a bit of a break from the whole saving the realm business. It was fun, Ella made new friends and it was just a fun addition to the story!
I have loved following Ella and watch her grow into her powers, grow as a person and I loved watching Ella and Ruskins relationship grow and bloom into a beautiful thing.
The ending was perfect, I feel like all the questions were answered and they got the HEA they deserved. I highly recommend you check out this book if you like,

This is the third book in the Gold Weaver series, which is a Beauty and the beast meets Rumplestiltskin retelling. As this book is the finale it means that we've gotten to know the characters quite well.

I was pleased by the intense opening, which really had me captured. As well as seeing the friendships growing and the romance bloom. Eleanor's growth through this book was so pleasing to see. I'm not usually a fan of tropes of memory losses, however in this case it works in the story's favor.

I really enjoyed how Zara Storm managed to wrap up this triology.

"a blade can be a weapon, sure, but it can also be used to cut the bindings that hold people back. It can also be used to set them free"

5/⭐
3/🌶️

3th book in the series the gold weaver
And it is the only one of the series i have read yet but the other 2 will be on my list !
It is doable to read it without the others but you miss a little bit of context/history
Netgalley ARC

What i loved:

-The writing style-
I have been reading hours at a time not even noticing the time passing
I got so into the story that the rest of the world disappeared
The story is easy to follow even when you miss 2 books like me
There is enough detail to build myself and it isn't a slow book like for example lotr

-The characters-
But Ella and Rus are complex characters
Whit fears that fit their story
With a love that is ao beautifully written that it makes sense

-the love story -
Some love stories are not convincing here although we speak about the "mate" connection like in many other cases it fits the story
It's not only a feeling it really is a connection they can use that adds to the story

What i didn't love:

Interra
For me it is difficult to understand the interra world, the gifts it gives and elements it takes
I don't understand why

But overall amazing story
Will need to read 1and 2 also and reread 3 after
But it is gonna be so worth it !

Everyone has finally stopped being hypocrites and are on the same page, even with a bout of memory loss for one character. Memory loss is one of my least favorite tropes, but this time it at least didn’t hinder the story. But it also didn’t add anything since he’s basically the same just calmer. The ending was also a little anti-climactic and I think pacing suffered. Honestly book two and three could have been edited down and turned into one book to fix pacing issues. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for this, but it was just so boring sometimes I felt myself skimming!

🌶️: 3/5

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

3.5* rounded up

This was a good ending to this series, the plot that has been building had a satisfactory ending and I liked the romance in this as well. I appreciate that this series has a good balance of plot and romance and it is a good romantasy. I liked Ruskin even more in this book, he was more likeable and more vulnerable than in previous books so we got to get to know him more as a character and his backstory. Overall this was solid, I just wanted a tad more from this. It felt slow in the middle and then rushed at the end.

Thanks to Netgalley and Relay Publishin for granting me access to the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am actually a bit bereft without this series now. It ended perfectly and I love Ruskin and Ella more the more I read these wonderful books.

I actually found myself skipping over sex scenes because I was so invested in the plot (which is so unlike me!).

Again, I don't want to say too much because it'll give it away but the way this world is planned and executed is absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best series I have read in a long time. So many twists and turns and all so beautifully written.

The whole series gets 5 stars!

This was a great ending to a great series. I adored the last few sentences. What a way to conclude!

This book felt a bit slower in the middle which was a bit tough for me, but worth the read for sure. I wasn’t sure if everything would tie up nicely, but it did. The premise was unique and a great addition to fairytale retellings!

I received this book as an ARC and really enjoyed it. This is the third and final book in the trilogy.

I liked the story and how it wrapped up the varying storylines. Unlike many other books, the big battle scene occurred over several pages and showed the severity of the situation.

I liked the characters, both major and side, and the diversity of their POVs.

I would definitely read additional books by this author!

4.25 stars for a thrilling and adventure-filled finale to this very fun Rumplestiltskin meets Beauty and the Beast trilogy!

We left off with Eleanor and Destan en route to the Unseelie Kingdom, Ruskin locked in a battle with his wicked mother to buy them time, and everything seemingly falling apart. Luckily, this story picks up about a second after the last one ended- and not a moment too soon!! We get thrust with all of our friends, old and new, as our heroes try to save the Seeling Kingdom from fully falling victim to Evanthe's cold iron curse. Through ups and downs, new creatures, old enemies, faerie traditions, and some magical upgrades, this book is a wild ride from start to finish!

Eleanor continues to grow into her magic, grow into her importance for the kingdom, and grow into love with her naminai. Ruskin learns to embrace both the Seelie and Unseelie sides of himself, letting them work together to keep himself and his loved ones safe and free. Destan continues to flirt with the world, dress impeccably, and also surprise us with a few new tricks up his sleeve. We meet new friends in both courts, including some VERY fun creatures, and its like the avengers were called to assemble in the great battle!

I adored this trilogy- it was fun, it was fresh, the magic of the gold weaver was super cool, it hit some of those romantasy highs while not making it just a tropey book. If Zara Storm writes more, I am here for it!!

Thank you so much to Zara Storm and Netgalley for a chance to read this in exchange for an honest review!
