I love a sports romance and this was ok. It certainly not the best but I didn’t DNF. It’s an easy read, it just didn’t it the spot for me.

I did not like this one. The writing style was just not for me at all. The characters felt really juvenile which they should not in this kind of book at all.

I’ve discovered waggling of eyebrows before anything sexual gives me the ick🤢, however I did enjoy this, it was an easy read!

I have been a fan of the sports romance trope recently, and honestly..... this book ticked all of my boxes. With the perfect combination of spice and truly heart warming storytelling, this book will have you hooked from the start!

I was hooked from the very beginning and read this in 2 days. It was the perfect mix of unrequited love and good banter.

First off, this book is categorized as erotica, and I don’t agree with that. It’s a romance, but the spice is not so high that I’d consider it erotica.

There’s a large cast of characters here, and it made it a little hard to keep track of them all at first. I liked Jake and Ella, and her friend Rosie and Simon. But I didn’t connect with the aunts, and I found there to be some lacking from Cam, Miranda, and Trish. I liked how their backstory with Jake was explained later, but I still expected there to be more there.

It was cute. It was a little spicy. But overall it was just ok for me.

First off, love the title and the 87 on the jersey for a nod to Taylor. I love how everything football is now Taylor Swift.

I enjoyed this book, it had much heavier topics than the cover suggests especially dealing with the small town scandals and learning to get over and grow through them. I love the two of them together and the fun coaching aspect. There is a complication but it doesnt drag out so much and ends up being very understandable both times due to the characters natures and backstories. Despite the heavy topics, it was an easy read and a guaranteed HEA.

This story was lots of fun to read and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. The premise of the story was great and I couldn’t help but root for the characters. I was hoping they would get their happy ever after and also save the school!

The story moved at a lovely pace. I really enjoyed the premise, the sports side of things and the way everyone came together to help for a good cause. The minor characters also brought something to the story. Both Ella and Jake have pasts that are still causing problems in the present. So there is conflict there but I liked how the author brought them together as they worked through it all. The romance was sweet but with a little spice too, a great combination!

Look What You Made Me Do was both fun and engaging! If you like small towns with a hint of sports and of course romance. Then this could be the book for you!

I loved this story! Being from a small town, I completely understand what the 2 main characters, Ella and Jake, were going through. This is quick, easy read watching 2 small town people grow and heal individually and together. There is a lot of spice between these 2! I truly wanted to love this book- it has a lot of my favorite things. Enemies to lovers, workplace-ish romance, second chance. I just really didn’t like Ella, her brother Cam was a little much but I tried to give him some grace as they both have mommy issues; parts weren’t believable- the coach of the team can’t sit and explain the game while he’s coaching…

I loved the concept, the execution could use some work.

For romance readers who are interested in a spicy, tropey, enemies-to-lovers romance novel, Amy Andrews has definitely written a modern romance book that should be on their lists.

I was drawn in by the Taylor Swift reference but after reading the book it was a deliberate ploy. This was originally published as, Holding out for a Hero and rebranded as a Taylor Swift/ Travis Kelce inspired romance, but I felt like it was trying way too hard. I had a hard time coming around on Ella and Lucas as characters and their chemistry seemed a little forced.

I was drawn in by the Taylor Swift reference, but I was disappointed by the lack of references beyond the title and cover. I could see some connection between the MMC and Travis Kelce, but it’s a stretch.
The story was cute, and I liked the general concept, but the chemistry was not there for me. I liked the characters, but they fell a bit flat.
There is a great balance of romance and other storylines in this book that made it an enjoyable read!
