I loved this representation of anxiety and the important moment of deciding for yourself who and what is most important. I really appreciated how even the secondary characters were well-developed, Ana in particular. The high-stakes and pressure of the KPop environment added to the stakes of the relationship between the main characters in a way that I think added depth to the story.

K-pop star Moonster and former idol Hyeri were childhood friends growing up in the tough world of K-pop. Now Hyeri is trying to work in K-drama but real drama and scandal keep following her around. In order try to enhance their reputations, Hyeri and Moonster agree to appear together on a variety show called “Our Celebrity Marriage.” Feelings reappear along with more scandal and a crazy sasaeng fan.
An entertaining story, but I had trouble liking the main character. Perhaps her first narrative was too intense for me. She has a lot of anxiety and a very controlling mother.

This was a cute companion to Once Upon a K-Prom. If you like your enemies to lovers and fake dating romance tropes, this might be the book for you.
