A generally decent overview of Enochian magic but not one I recommend for a beginner. Liber Nephilim would be a nice gift to the Enochian or Occultist who seems to already have every book on the topic and might like perusing something new (even if they, like me, might not find it particularly refreshing).
I can't begin to describe how wonderful this book is. Frater Barrabbas really takes the history of Enochian magick and translates it in a way that is so easy to understand. I've als o had the pleasure of meeting this author and he is a lovely person to have a conversation with.
Christians, Jews, and Silent Hill fans will recognize the beings discussed. The majority are religious and folklore stars and play prominent roles in religious and magical faith. Frater Barrabbas goes into detail about each being, angle, and demon. The author goes onto the roles of these beings and well evocations. The book ends with diaries from Barrabbas.
I red this as education not as some one practising. So I ddn't get the full affect but I did enjoy learning.
