This is a smart and comprehensive book but not really a typical business book, more in the form of a textbook. By which I mean it is comprehensive to a fault. That would be okay, except the marketing/blurb makes it seem like a general business book. Is it for people who know nothing about the topic of digital marketing? Then why would they want to read this book? Cut the history and it's quite insightful, but I'd have preferred an editor to do that cutting rather than me have to read it all to find the gems. Generally each section has a lot of history and background before getting to the Web 3.0 elements. They are there, but IMHO this book could have lost some baggage and come out stronger.

As a book of web history, I certainly recommend this title.
It is informative and the information is presented with graphs (statistics) and references to support the argument.
Yet, as a guide for marketing in web 3.0, we are presented with not much, at least, that was my experience/my understanding here.
If the argument is that based on how web 3.0 compares to web 2.0 and 1.0, we shall not follow the strategies we used for those, it is still lacking in advice in my opinion.
I hope other readers find more value.
