The perfect mixture of sub-genres, stories, and themes. Each story was intriguing and creative in its own way. I got to sample stories that I normally wouldn’t have read on my own. The carefully curated balance of sub-genres introduced me to authors I’d never encountered as well as some I’ve enjoyed reading in the past. This is a great tool for whetting your appetite for content that challenges your creativity and expands your literary palette.

Thank you to Net Galley and Publishers Lunch for this e-copy!
I find this guide extremely reader-friendly, with the contents broken down into the various categories of Romances you can find inside, as well as links to download or request the book. The excerpts included in each section are detailed and give a good indication of if this book is one to put on your to-be-read list. I also love the info and photo of each author provided. Buzz Books 2024: Romance is so helpful (even in 2025!) in finding new romances to check out, I recommend giving it a read if you're unsure of what to pick up next and enjoy the Romance genre.

Good buzz books promo. Interested in seeing the roll out for the titles mentioned. Need more packages like this on NG.

Romance fans will adore this edition of Buzz Books, with excerpts from 21 romance novels they'll want to add to their TBRS. Enjoy!

Thank you to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for this collection of excerpts for various titles. It is always helpful to read excerpts to find new authors and titles I might not have heard of before.

So many great excerpts! I've opted to request several of the full galleys from this list. I enjoyed that everything was broken into subgenres.

I love the concept of this and enjoyed the snippets I read. Unfortunately, I was very late to party (Aug 24 pub date to March 25) and missed the window for several of the full books I was interested in. This made me then skip reading sections unless they were not archived.

Another nice collection of previews from Buzz Books. I really love getting a taste of these books, quite often they get me interested in reading a book I normally wouldn't pick up just from the summary or cover. Definitely a collection to continue to check out to find hidden gems.

I requested this to check out upcoming releases but only looked into one book by one of my favorite authors, Jasmine Guillory! I am so excited for her release coming up.

I enjoy romance but haven't dabbled too heavily into the genre so I really appreciated this guide in letting me sample a variety of upcoming romance titles. I have a few titles in here that I can't wait to read fully.

I loved the little sneak peeks with this but honestly, they just made me want the books more which I suppose was the entire point.

Love a good preview compendium! Looking forward to FLIRTING LESSONS and all the rest of the 2025 romance releases!

This is a great way to preview what's coming out, to strategically request ARCs and find talented and unique new voices. It's also sort of a tease, because you only get an excerpt from an entire work. Appreciate the opportunity to skim through writing by ones to watch.

I’ve recently started reading excerpts. It’s an easy way to quickly decide if a book is for me instead of requesting it then realizing a chapter in one of the characters annoys me or an undisclosed topic is not my trope. Of course, one of the issues with excerpts is that it can pull you in quickly then you don’t want to put the book down when the excerpt is over. That’s a good thing.
I enjoyed the way this sampler was setup. There are 21 romance titles included. It had sections for the various subgenres (Contemporary, Paranormal, Sports, etc.), so if you want to you can skip through to the type of romance that interests you. I went through each one and read the summary and when interested I continued with the rest of the excerpt. I found several books that I had previously considered for my TBR and these excerpts answered whether they should be on the list or if I needed to boot them. I also added a few that I hadn’t considered but caught my attention as I read through the samples. Overall I only chose four books, but I am picky when it comes to romance
Thank you to Netgalley and Publishers Lunch Buzz Books for a copy provided for an honest review.

I am so excited for the romance options for 2025. I wish the excerpts were a bit longer but i am eager to collect some of these from the library this year.

Buzz Books samplers are a great way to discover debut authors and new books.
I am so happy I chose to read this one, because I stumbled on a fantastic book, Promises & Pomegranates by Sav R Miller.
Because of this sample, I went onto download the ARC, and have purchased the American editions for books 1 &2 with the preorder overlays (I'm having a friend in the states forward them to me), and I've got my eye on the Australian special edition from Fabled Co.
Although I am yet to finish P&P, I am looking forward to it once I work my way through my backlog of ARCs.
Thank you to Publishers Lunch for the Buzz Books 2024: Romance collection.

I love these sort of preview. As an avid romance reader, I love seeing what’s on the horizon. Lots of good books in my future.

I love these Buzz Books! What a great way to try out a bunch of different books before committing to them. Normally romance isn't really my thing but I've found a few in here that I want to check out. These coections are such a great idea.

I really appreciate the Buzz Books because they give me a chance to see which ones I might enjoy more than others. I can be picky about writing style, so there are a few that I eliminated from my list because of the excerpt and others that I added to my list thanks to the excerpt.
If you are looking for more romance, I recommend this Buzz Books 2024!

I try to get the Buzzbooks whenever they release them because they give snippets of up-and-coming books. They organize the books by genre, so if there is a specific sub-genre (contemporary, horror, fantasy, YA, etc.) you can pay special attention to that section. Information for future publishing (like the release date, publisher, and author bio) is also included, which is thoughtful. This particular BuzzBooks focuses on romance.
I was mostly excited about the rom-com section, which is one of my favorite romance sub-genres. There were a few selections that I noted the release dates so I could pick them up.
