I've seen these little preview sets for ages, and I finally decided it was time to request one! And now I'm definitely going to need more. I loved that it was a mix of authors I knew, ones I didn't, genres I loved, and ones I could now "dabble" in. I loved the variety in this collection and so many of these left me wanting more - So it achieved its goal! Just a gem of a collection all-around.
This was so hard for me to put down, I loved it so much. The little excepts definitely added a few more books to my TBR and even the books I did know, it reminded me that I need to do a re re-reads. Authors like Sav R Miller have always been favorite of mine, and I truly believe some of the others authors will be too. I also love that that give a summary AND the excerpt, because sometimes you really can't get what you need from a summary, so this was absolutely perfect for me in that way too. If you're indecisive or a mood reader or someone who needs to try before you buy, this is absolutely a GIFT.
Always appreciate the opportunity to see which books are coming and and to read some excerpts!
I'm definitely excited for many of the books!
Buzz Books 2024: Romance gives you a excerpts of 21 new releases by established authors as well as debut novels. This is my first experience with Buzz Books. I found it to be a good way to find new authors and get a taste of their style. I didn't realize there is so much variety in romance. I only skipped reading a few of the excerpts as the category did not interest me. I enjoyed the opportunity to experience so many new books. Several of them drew me in and I wanted to read more. At the end of most excerpts there is a link to download or request the full book.
I received this ARC from Publishers Lunch via Net Galley. Thank you for the chance to read and provide my honest review.
I have read this ARC with a view to providing a review
All opinions and thoughts are my own
I love these
They give me a real idea of what is coming up and what I might fancy reading
Can't rate these high enough
I always enjoy these book previews, especially romance since it is my most-read genre! I'm excited to see new books from BK Borison, KL Walther, and Jasmine Guillory and new-to-me authors like Clare Osongco. Thanks NetGalley!
I received a copy of this eBook from netGalley for a honest review.
I now have new authors and books for my to be read pile. Thanks NetGalley.
I live for these book previews. It is like browsing Goodreads or your local book store but all in on thoughtfully curated "book." My TBR list has now grown immensely.
Looking forward to the new romance releases. Some big authors highlighted but also some lesser known ones that I will keep my eye out for.
A wonderful catalogue of upcoming romances coming out in the next season. Any reader will be able to find something new to love and enjoy this winter and spring. Many different styles and subgenres are represented and highlighted! Can't wait for many of them!
I really enjoyed the upcoming previews and thought this was such a great resource of books to come! I struggle sometimes with finding books within a genre and found this really helpful.
My favorite seasonal book EVER, I love to browse and see what is coming out in the next couple of months so I hope these continue forever. I love how they include a preview of the book for readers to enjoy. All the stars!!
I loved learning about debut authors through this list and, of course, getting a sneak peek at upcoming novels from my favorite authors.
The Buzz Books 2024: Romance Book was nice to browse and learn about new books. It was informative and helpful.
I always get so excited to sample books via Buzz Books and add them to my TBR! This was no exception, especially sampling the Sav R Miller book.
SO Excited for this list of books to drop! Cannot WAIT to read these; especially Jasmine Guillory and Mia Sheridan but some of the debut author books look amazing as well!
It was helpful that there was a Table of Contents specifically for age group, but last year's version didn't include so much YA, which I personally preferred— it's entirely personal preference, but I don't read YA romance at all, and so I didn't get as much out of this preview as I may have otherwise.
My most-anticipated out of all the previews are:
-Of course, Jasmine Guillory's FLIRTING LESSONS, because I've loved everything she's ever written.
-My Funny Demon Valentine by Aurora Ascher— creating something completely ridiculous and hilarious out of demons and the supernatural is a skill I especially appreciate.
Love to know what publishing updates I need to keep an eye out for! Looking forward to updates from Amanda Weaver, Sav R Miller, Mia Sheridan, BK Borison and more!
What an interesting way to find new authors, stay updated with upcoming titles, and browse book covers. This excerpt collection was divided by age category. I hadn't known that Publishers Lunch created this list of Buzz Books, and quite honestly, I love this because I'm able to explore more categories of romance besides my go-to contemporary options. I also enjoyed reading the author bios and promotional information at the end of each excerpt. Thank you Publishers Lunch for hosting an incredible Buzz Books Romance Panel this year. Thank you also to Net Galley for letting me read this.
Loved this, it's great getting to read samples of upcoming new releases. Very excited for First Time Caller!
