Cute and interesting book! The illustrations were so, so detailed and they added a lot to the book for me. The ways the characters were colored and detailed reminded me a bit of Tim Burton, which made this book so much more fun and quirky. Additionally, the overall moral was great, focusing on themes of gratitude and love. This is perfect for a kids' book. My one critique is about the plot. There were two spots where the plot moved from one thing to another rather quickly. I think that adding even just one page or one sentence for a transition would help the plot and overall story flow a lot better.
Other than that, I had a lot of fun reading this book, and I have zero doubt that kids will, too!

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

My 3yo was entertained by Owen and his robot. Who wouldn’t want to eat ice cream for breakfast and have an endless number of books read at bedtime?

Great story of the importance of mothers or the ones who care for you. And it was clever!
