I received an electronic ARC from Familius through NetGalley.
Readers will have a lot of fun traveling around Georgia with these elves. They share some of the recognizable locations around the state. The rhythmic text adds to the fun of visiting and learning. I appreciate that the elves each have their own personalities which come through clearly in the illustrations. A fun read for families who lie there or have connections there. This is part of the 12 Little Elves series of adventures in different states.

Such a cute holiday picture book to read to young children!

I really loved that yes this was a holiday story, but it featured so many local attractions from Georgia so you were really learning a lot about the state as well. Would be a perfect book for a child either living in Georgia already, or even maybe moving soon (how fun would that be to hype the kid up about the state 🤗).

The illustrations by Sadie Han were fantastic! I feel like the art style really captures the magical feel of the holiday. Each elf was so unique, and beautifully imagined. I feel like every time I flipped a page I was greeted by something new that my eyes would get snagged on. And I LOVED how the local landmarks of Georgia were brought to life, with these little elves hiding all around the landmarks. It was so interesting to see a contrast of these little elves sitting on the beach, playing in a grove of pink flowers, or even in a swamp with alligators! You always think, "oh Santa is coming with his elves" and picture this pristine snow covered setting, but this is such a unique take. Overall so whimsical and fun!

The perfect cozy holiday/Christmas time read. Perfect to read on Christmas Eve right before the big guy makes a visit down the chimney 😉. Especially with the way it ended turning it back around to the children reading it would be so fun to see the kids reactions on Christmas Eve of "OH their talking to us!" 🥰

Thank you Familius, and Net Galley for the ARC copy of this cute holiday story! ❤️

Such a cute story! The illustrations were adorable. I love when children’s stories have a rhyming scheme, it feels like you sing a song as you read. Children will love this and even adults can enjoy this story.

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this e-ARC.

This book is very cute! I'm excited to gift this to a child in my family whose parent is in the military; their last posting was in Georgia where they spent lots of weekends at Jekyll Island, so I know they will love the Jekyll Island reference in this sweet holiday book. A simple, rhyming children's book that names lots of Georgia places. Nice quick read, would be perfect for a nighttime read during the holidays. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with young children who lives in Georgia and celebrates Christmas.

A fun and lively Christmas holiday picture book to share with young children. The regional editions make it so much more personal and relatable for young readers as they explore and learn more about their state (or another they may be interested in) through 12 charming elves. A great gift idea.

If you live in Georgia, or love someone who does, this book is a great Christmas gift! 12 little elves visit the iconic sites in Georgia on Christmas Eve. I've unfortunately only been to Georgia once, but even I loved getting to see the locations I've visited - I imagine a Georgian kiddo would have an absolute ball seeing Santa's elves hopping around their state! I do wish I could have seen an elf *enjoying* a Beverly at the Coca-Cola museum!

This was an adorable book!
From the cover I thought it meant they were visiting a little crocodile named Georgia, but then I realised that it was the state of Georgia in the US - would have been good to make that clearer somehow with a less busy cover.
It was cute to see all the elves got up to.
The pages with the cityscape on it felt a bit dark & the page with the word "raft" on it was blocked by a tree branch, so you couldn't read it properly.
I liked the details of Georgia, it was sweet to see them.
It would have maybe been more interesting for some of the elves to stay behind each time before reuniting at the end - there were so many on each page, it did feel a bit busy design wise.
I did like counting each elf with my kid, but 12 is a bit high for her at the moment. Still a good learning opportunity!

Overall, a sweet read!

I got this because I am Christmas mad. I thought the elves were going to visit a character called Georgia - my bad! It was still a cute read and the artwork was lovely, fun and bright. I may have liked it more if I had ties to Georgia.

I love the 12 Little Elves and it's so cute to see them visiting some of the big sites in the state of Georgia! The illustrations are adorable, they're colorful and fun to look at. This book is perfect for kids ages 2-5, but I'm not sure it would interest kids that don't have any connection to Georgia.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC!

Cute little Christmas read.

Perfect for ages 1-8

The elves visit many tourist destinations in Georgia. Would make a sweet gift at Christmas with tickets to one of the places mentioned.

My kiddo (4) said he wanted to live in the book - especially the soda machine page LOL! The art was so cute, I would be interested in getting the Texas one for my kiddos and other kids in my life!

This was an interesting take on a holiday book! Having been to Georgia a couple of times, I found references to places I visited fun. I can see this being a favourite for all teachers, parents and children from the state. A cute read from start to finish. Enjoy!

Let me start by saying the illustrations for 12 Little Elves Visit Georgia are absolutely darling. I love that all of the little elves look a little bit different too! I think this one would be fun for children who live in Georgia or maybe have relatives in Georgia. It might even be fun to pick up for a family visiting on vacation as a fun souvenir from their trip.

Although some of the rhymes felt a little forced or non-existent, I think for many little ones, they'll just be excited for a Christmas story that features landmarks they're familiar with!

Thank you NetGalley and Familius for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

This was a super cute book to read with my young son! He thought the little elves were so funny. I don’t know a lot about Georgia, but I appreciated all the references to different places in Georgia! Many of them I have visited in the past! If you love Georgia, you’ll enjoy this humorous holiday book!

Awesome! Kids in Georgia will absolutely love how personal and thoughtful this book is. All of the illustrations perfectly showcased each unique element of Georgia, pushing the "personalization" of this book even further, without going overboard. All of this was made complete with the author's nearly flawless rhymes and the book's ideal length. My only note is one or two rhymes fell a bit short for me, but the story still flowed really well regardless.
Bravo!

A cute entry into the regional series that visits different US states and other countries. I can see it being fun for a kiddo that lives in Georgia, or if they had family that lived there, or had even visited these locations as a tourist.

It's a bit short but the drawings are cute and I can see it being a fun bedtime story at Christmas for a very young child.
