I listened to the audiobook of this and really did like the narrators. I liked the brother's best friend part, but felt weird about the insta love from him after not remembering her from his college womanizing days. She swooned over him, but doesn't mind that he didn't remember her. The insta love felt forced for me. I also didn't like the reaction to Vinny's reaction (I don't want to spoil anything). Otherwise, I did like it. It just needed a bit more for me.
3.5 stars This was a cute, closed door contemporary romance, albeit a bit unforgettable? Liza, who comes from a true Italian family, falls for her brother’s friend, Matt, who she dubbed “Majestic Matt” in high school. They have to hide their relationship from Liza’s brother. The fall setting with the pumpkin patch was cute, the twin nerve and nephew were cute, just overall a cute story. I enjoyed the both the narrators and glad that there was a male and female as the story was told in dual, first person point-of-view

I really felt like this book gave the vibes of a fall warm hug with a cup of cider on the side. I really enjoyed the overall vibes of this book. It felt a bit repetitive in the third act portion of the book. The conversations felt very much the same of Matt wanting to tell Vinnie & Liza putting it off. I was actually shocked when she said they’d been together for 6 weeks - obviously since it was Christmas we know that but that’s such a long time to be hiding a relationship from your closest family members.
Overall i really enjoyed it - the narration was done very well and it featured some of my favorite audiobook narrators.
It is giving - fall romance, brother’s best friend, accidental/surprise pregnancy, insta-love, forbidden romance
I would absolutely read this author again, and would recommend this for those looking for a more lighthearted fall romance.
Liza and Matt have one thing in common; Liza’s brother Vinny, Matt’s best friend.
This had me reeled in super quick, by chapter three I was really interested in the main characters. The relationship between Liza and Matt felt rushed but also at a standstill at the same time. It was nice to see a couple who really just can’t keep their hands to themselves, but having Liza’s brother forbid anything to happen between her and Matt I expected a bit more secrecy.
Matt’s thoughtful, head over heels falls first golden retriever type. Liza seems a bit wrapped up in her world, and dismissive about Matt’s requests in terms of their relationship.
I found the ending a bit difficult, but it’s a personal preference and I know some people will love this love story ending. It just wasn’t for me.
This is a cute Fall read, he falls first, brother’s best friend. The steamy scenes are peppered through nicely, and have a decent flow, they don’t feel forced or weird.
Honorable mention to Vinny and Liza’s amazing mom! She is wonderful and would be a fantastic larger character if there were ever second chance romance for the senior community. She’s really just such a real mom/grandma.
Fall Into You is a good romance to kick off the fall season. Liza falls for her brother's best friend, Matt, and they have to keep their romance a secret. A very run-of-the-mill romance that has lots of fall vibes to it. Not the most memorable for me but it is coming out at the perfect time to jump back into fall reads.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this advanced audiobook. Fall Into You publishes on September 3, 2024.
This book was cute, but the trope thrown in at the ending was a bit much. Some other aspects of the book weren’t my thing, but I did enjoy the MMC and FMC’s relationship. The narrators did a fantastic job throughout this audiobook. Overall a good time and great for reading during the Fall season! 3/5 stars
This book had a lot of cozy fall vibes. It takes place in October-December and they talk about the weather and go to a pumpkin patch. It's a romance book where Vinny's little sister Liza instantly falls for Vinny's best friend, Matt. Vinny doesn't want Matt to even be near his sister so they have to date in secret. There was a lot of drama in this book. Liza, Matt, and Vinny all have their freak out moments. The insta love kind of made it feel like a high school love story. And spoiler, there was a surprise pregnancy, although we saw that coming from earlier on in the book when they very clearly discussed and decided to have unprotected sex.
It was a quick, cute read if you enjoy insta love and/or surprise pregnancy. Also a fun fall vibes story.
I listened to the audiobook and it was narrated by two narrators. They did a great job.
Fall into you is a picture perfect, swoon worthy fall time love story. Matt is Vinny’s bestfriend. Liza is Vinny’s little sister. Do we see where this is going? After an impromptu invite, Matt joins the family for Labor Day. He was Vinny’s reckless, women loving roomate back in college. Vinny wants nothing more than for Matt to stay the fuck away from his sister. Haha jokes on you, Vinny. Matt and Liza start a secret relationship *gasp* who would’ve thought?
*Spoilers Ahead*
This book contains my two least favorite tropes- insta love and pregnancy! Woo! But honestly, if you enjoy insta love this is a great book. It’s well written and keeps your attention. I love the dynamic of Matt and Liza. I also enjoyed Vinny and the plotline with him. I want to hug Danielle for being the best sister in law ever.
Overall, i enjoyed it and would recommend for a quick, cute, and easy read.
I’m ready for fall and this book is perfect!
Eliza always had a crush on her brother’s college friend Matt. He ends up visiting Eliza’s mom’s home years later and there is an instant connection. Vinny, Eliza’s protective older brother, it clear - Matt was not to pursue his sister.
The heart wants what the heart wants. They decide to secretly date! What go wrong with dating your brother’s bff?
Matt is my new book boyfriend!
I adored this book.
Eliza deserves the world and I am so happy Matt is there to give it to her.
Their relationship might be moving quickly but it is so wholesome
I really loved the setting of this book. If you’re looking for a good book to cozy up with in the fall this is perfect. The fall vibes are incredible. My main issue with it is that it is an instant love connection book and I just don’t tend to be attracted to those types of books because it always means that some sort of petty drama is going to come up in order to make the book more interesting. Because without a conflict, it’s just listening to two people talk about how much they love each other. The drama seemed petty and unnecessary. My other issue is with the audio itself. I didn’t notice it as obviously on the male narrator’s voice but on the female narrator’s voice, some lines sounded like they were recorded in a bathroom. The tone of her voice changed dramatically from one line to the next. Believe me I don’t like a monotone narrator but this seemed to be a production flaw, not necessarily the voice actors fault. It was distracting from the story. I know a lot of people who would like this book, and nothing about it was bad, it just wasn’t for me.
-Insta Love
-Brothers best friend
-Fast Paced
-Forbidden Love
I love fall, I make it a whole personality trait honestly completely unapologetically, because of this I’m always on the hunt for a good fall read i’ll give everything a chance. When I first read this book I absolutely adored it. Now during one of my many rereads I got my hands on an early copy of the audio book and oh my gosh it was amazing.
I loved Matt and Liza from the beginning. This was an absolutely perfect for fall read and a sweet romcom with a dash of spice. I couldn’t really help but root from them from the start. Especially with her brother’s behavior.
I really didn’t like Vinnie but he got some points back at the end.
Over all this was a fast paced and fun quick fall read.
🎧🎧 Book Review 🎧🎧 I am not sure at what point summer transitions into autumn officially but I am there and at peace with everything pumpkin spice and cozy sweaters. Though after a breakup like the one Liza just endured, hibernating under a big blanket would totally be warranted. But that fall crisp air seems to bring another plan from the universe when her brother’s best friend from college comes back into their life and offers a second chance and hope for love.
Amidst the changes of a breakup and the grief of losing a parent, the emotions are so raw and relatable and absolutely beautifully written. Matt and Liza’s budding relationship is captivating. It totally brought me back to days of really getting to know someone and hearing all of the stories from the trenches of the wild days pre-relationship. Beyond that, Caroline Frank depicts that magic of the early stages of dating perfectly, that flutters in your stomach, the excitement, the nerves, and everything in between! Fall Into You is the perfect secret dating autumn romance to curl up with a hot coffee or hot tea and enjoy the change of the season!
Review is on Goodreads and will be posted on instagram closer to publication date and on Amazon when published!
Fall into you is the perfect fall cozy romance! It follows the start of a romance in a crazy Italian family still reeling from the loss of their father. The audiobook is amazing quality and the narrators really draw you into the story.

Rounded up from 3.5
Liza has always loved being part of her Italian family, always all up in each other's business. But when her brother shows up with his sexy best friend, Matt, she wishes they would mind their buisness for once... And since the feeling is mutual, they have to sneak around.
This brother's best friend is book 1 in the Seasons of Love series, and it was a cute and quick read. It was a bit too insta-lovey/lusty for my taste, I am not a fan of the assumptions, but I liked that they were straightened up fairly fast with good communication between the MCs I didn't like the FMC's brother. I get that he's trying to protect his sister (and I do get his ulterior motive for not wanting them to be together, although it feels pretty selfish), but her sister is a grown-ass adult, perfectly capable of making her own decisions and taking risks if she wants to, as well as assume the consequences if the shit hits the fan... And I am also not a fan of how the FMC treats the MMC just because she's afraid of her brother's reaction. You're a grown ass adult. Assume your choices, and if your brother can't deal with it, it's his problem. And it's clear that it's the type of situation where the longer you wait, the harder it will be (same comment applies to the MMC). I was also not a fan of all the whole thing was resolved, I feel like it was too easy, and it's one of my least favorite tropes (I won't say what it is here, I don't want to spoil anything). And, where was the fall? You can't base a series on seasons and hint strongly on a season in your title without making it look like said season exploded all over your book. There were barely a few mentions of fall in this book, and it was missing. I feel like it would've added a lot of atmosphere to the story to include it more. It would have been easy to include cute fall dates instead of focusing on Liza wanting to hide their relationship. The narrator did a great job in the audio book, although I did feel like there were a lot of sentences added after the original recording (there is a difference in sound and tone that is clearly distinctable), which was a bit disconcerting. Overall, I enjoyed the read.
I received an advance review copy of this book for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Fall into You was such a sweet fall audiobook! I listened in two days and wished it was longer because I was enjoying it so much! The male lead is a swoon worthy doctor and the relationship moves fast! What else could I want?
This was a tough one for me to review because it had a lot of potential. I want to start by saying I enjoyed the audiobook narration a lot and thought it was done well. The story itself had a lot of promise. My issues with it were that our FMC is a grown adult and I felt like she let her brother have a lot of control over life. I also felt like Everytime the couple had a conversation about not keeping their relationship a secret anymore the MMC would get angry and then shut down and then nothing would come of it. We also had a surprise pregnancy and her ending up in the hospital. It felt like too much but also not enough at the same time.
Strong start with plenty of fall rom-com vibes, but the story fell apart a little for me as it progressed. The emotional maturity of these two leads was juvenile at best and the more the conflict grew, the worse they treated each other. Overall, it’s cute and delivered what it promised with a few hiccups for me.
I love the narrator, as well as the author’s voice and writing style. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that if the author mentions vomit and dirty diapers early in the book, that book is not for me. DNF.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the ALC! This one was an easy mindless listen while I was working this week. It gave off insta love, hallmark, fun cozy fall vibes. It did fall a little flat for me, but I listened all the way through and enjoyed it for the most part as it was a quick listen! The narrators, Ruby Allan and Jeremy Gardner, both did a great job!
