The story of Sienna who works at Silverberry Ball and is tasked with tracking down her employers long lost grandson.
I enjoyed this lighthearted, festive, and heartwarming story. It' well plotted and compelling
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
An enjoyable, if a bit predictable, Christmas romance all wrapped up with love, snow, tinsel, ribbon, and hot chocolate, a perfect winter afternoon read to cosy up with, I really enjoyed it.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook.
This was a good, well written story. It was a little on the sad side. It's more of a drama. But I really enjoyed the authors writing style. So, if you want to read a more serious family drama set during the Christmas season. This will be a great pick for you!
A cozy Christmas read which I enjoyed very much. I do enjoy Lucy's books and this one was up there with the others. Perfect for Christmas. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.
I loved this book so much! I haven’t shut up about it since finishing it. A real joy to read during the holiday season.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This was a cozy, heartwarming Christmas novel. I enjoyed reading it a lot!
this is a lovely heart warming story telling the story of sienna and all at silverberry hall leading up to christmas elizabeth opens up the hall and puts activities on for the local people which earns money for charities but of course there is many ups and downs as the story unfolds along with happiness and tears but in the end all comes clear and its a merry christmas for all
Christmas is a time of magic, when almost anything seems possible: romance, family drama, new beginnings and a Christmas miracle.
Once again, Lucy has penned a truly magical book. A heartwarming, christmassy story which has a lovely festive setting.
This book is such a treasure to read. Filled with festive cheer, an emotional past, and hope for the future, I couldn't put it down.

I really liked this book it was very sweet. The book deals with love, family feuds and loss of a loved one and the aftermath.
The book centers on Sienna who has had a lot of changes in her life recently, the relocation of her mother, who has moved to Cornwall to be with her new partner Greg, the loss of her employer Freddie, who was her mentor and a good friend and finding out her long term partner Liam had cheated on her, so she ended the relationship and moved out of their home.
With Christmas approaching, Elizabeth has decided that she still wants the big Christmas eve party that they always have to honour Freddie and it is Sienna's job to organise it. Sienna finds herself snowed under with the organisation of the party, looking after Elizabeth, who is still trying to come to terms with the loss of her husband, trying hard to negotiate her feelings about everything that has brought changes into her life and engaging in a secret mission for Elizabeth.
With some twists and turns along the way, will Sienna find the love and security that she craves.
The book is very well written and you fall in love with the characters, it was a little slow for me to start with but it does blossom into a very lovely book to read. It is a perfect Christmas read so I would recommend this goes on your Christmas reading list
The book is set in the Cotswolds'. It was described as perfectly lovely and makes me want to visit there. And during Christmas, what more could we ask for than beautiful snowy scenery.
As the story is told we get to be with Sienna as she works at Silverberry Hall helping the owner Elizabeth with the running of the estate. and preparing for the Annual Christmas Event. Elizabeth is grieving the loss of her husband Freddie, and life is pretty overwhelming for her right now. he she also hears the news of her estranged son has passed away, and she has a grandson which is news to her. Sienna sets about helping her to find him. The story is full of switches and turns that will keep the reader intrigued and wanting to know what happens next.
Thank you to NetGalley, Embala books and Lucy Coleman for allowing me this arc version in exchange for my honest opinion.
This delightful story is perfect if you enjoy your festive fiction packed with emotion at a gentle pace with a multigenerational cast of characters. Sienna is recovering from a breakup. Work keeps her focused. The upcoming festivities she is responsible for at her employer and friend's home are the perfect solution to her heartbreak. Elizabeth has been keeping a painful secret that has to be shared. She asks Sienna to help her and sets in motion a second chance for them both to be happy. This is a lovely Christmas-focused tale with family drama, a mystery to solve and secrets. It explores friendships and love and is an engaging read.
I like the author's use of sensory imagery and the details she includes, which make imagining the festive preparations and outcomes so easy. The characters are complex and relatable, and the mystery takes the reader on an emotional and uplifting festive journey.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.
I really wanted this one to work but it was a bit slow for me. I like a fast paced holiday novel, and this just wasn't it. The story had some good points. It just felt like it got bogged down in too many details or something. Some people will enjoy this one for the holiday season. It just wasn't for me.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for advanced copy, and I give my review freely
Silverberry Hall is a place that Sienna loves working at with Freddie and Elizabeth. The annual Christmas party will be a proud event to honor Freddie who recently passed away. Elizabeth receives another hard blow when she finds out her son whom she has been estranged from has passed away recently also. She learns she has a grandson she never knew about. Sienna is going to find him for Elizabeth.
The story was good, but it just did not tug at my heart like I thought it would be considering everything that was happening in it.
Thank you NetGalley, Embala Books copy of Christmas At Silverberry Hall.
This is my personal review
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. A cute Christmas story. A family drama with a little side of love. It sounded adorable but it was missing something. It just didn't flow as easily as I would have liked.
This book is an enjoyable and easy read, set in the lead-up to Christmas as the main characters plan a grand Christmas Eve event. The setting is beautifully described, adding charm and warmth to the story. Focusing on love, life, and relationships, the novel strikes the right balance between heartwarming and engaging. The "12 months later" final chapter was a delightful touch, providing a perfect and satisfying conclusion. A cosy, feel-good read that's perfect for the festive season!
I enjoyed reading her previous title Christmas at the Snow Covered Inn bSo I was eager to start Christmas at Silverberry Hall by Lucy.
A perfect festive read full of cozy charm and well rounded characters.
Very engrossing and was hard to put down. There is something magical about festive books and this one is no exception.
