The book follows Laura an art conservationist while on assignment love founds her with a duke. Although she is falling in love with the duke she enjoys talking to FarmerDan who she met online .I absolutely enjoyed the representation of endometriosis and the slow burn love. Such an incredible plot and well written.

Laura's heart is firmly under lock and key. As a sufferer of endometriosis, Laura has long resigned herself to the fact that a relationship is out of the question. Unfortunately, her mother refuses to listen to her protestations and when she is matched online with Farmer Dan, Laura finds herself reluctantly swiping left. Only, Farmer Dan is not a perfect stranger, but her boss, Henry!

When their online flirtation gives way to a very real attraction, Laura and Henry quickly realise that they've fallen head over heels in love with one another. But Henry is not just her boss, but also a duke and with producing an heir part of his birthright and legacy, will he have to give up a future with Laura for the sake of duty? Laura, an art conservationist dealing with endometriosis, connects with a man on a dating app. Though she’s not ready for a relationship, they stay friends due to their strong connection. Meanwhile, her new boss, a charming Duke, might be the same man from the app, and they hit it off in real life as well. However, the Duke needs an heir to preserve his title and legacy, complicating their future due to Laura’s fertility challenges.

Laura and Henry have a great connection, both online and in person, but his need for an heir poses a major obstacle to their happiness. The story is enhanced by delightful side characters, especially their mothers, and the setting at the Duke’s estate adds charm. Laura’s endometriosis is portrayed with care, and Henry’s supportive response to her condition is especially heartwarming.

Despite the short length, their relationship is well-developed, though the reader might wish to see more of their future after the satisfying epilogue.

Art conservationist Laura connects with a man on a dating app. She’s dealing with endometriosis and isn’t ready for a relationship, but neither can let go, so they remain friends. Her new boss, a sexy Duke, might just be her dating app buddy, and they too have a great connection. However, the Duke needs an heir or else his title and legacy will be lost, and Laura’s fertility issues make having a child unlikely.

Laura and Henry are clearly a great match both via dating app correspondence and when they meet in real life. However, his mission to pass on his title creates a significant barrier to their happily ever after. Both of their mothers are a delight. The primary setting, the Duke’s estate, is fantastic. Laura’s endometriosis is handled with great care, and Henry’s reaction of her symptoms is nothing short of swoon worthy.

Despite the limited word count, their attraction and subsequent relationship is nicely established. While the epilogue is satisfying, I would have liked seeing a bit farther into their happily ever after.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
