I found this to be a fun and interesting book- just the title says! This is the fourth book in a series covering the different states in USA. I was excited to read this one because I live in Wyoming and who doesn't want to read fun facts about their own state? I loved that there was 50 facts for each state. I enjoyed the expansion of information on select trivia facts and usually ones that are not super well know. For example, we know JFK was assasinated in Dallas, TX so just adding it as a fact is enough without giving space to the entire store. I felt the same way about the chose topics in most of the states. This is a perfect book for anyone who loves trivia, child, teen or adult! I am definitely recommending this series to my teenager!

Interesting Facts for the Curious by JP Moriarty was a fascinating book.of information on the states of Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. There are facts about the state, people who lived there, food, geography and a lot more! It is very informative and the facts are generally short overviews with enough info to pique your curiosity but not overwhelming.

Fourth in a series covering, as the title says, interesting facts about states. This volume covers Rhode Island to Wyoming going alphabetically. I found it readable and informative. I paid particular attention to my own state and a couple I was familiar with and was happy not to find any noticeable errors. Facts can include historical information, famous past or modern day figures, natural or architectural sights, and much more. There are some small color illustrations but it is mostly text. It is the kind of book that can be read straight through or picking out particular states of interest. I would check this out from a public or school library. For middle school and up.
