This book was super cute! I love audiobooks with multiple narrators for the different POVs and I enjoyed this one a lot. As a golf wife (😂) I appreciate a good golf romance... there aren't enough of them out there!

Sports romance books are all the rage. How about a golf themed book? The Perfect Putt has just that!

This book was really not for me. I found the storyline to be poorly written and the love story between Ellie and Miles to be cringe worthy. I thought interest several times and almost didn't finish it.
I did not read the first book in the series so I went into this story kind of blind but don't feel like I missed anything major.
I did listen to the audiobook and thought the performances were ok.

Ellie Hart hates golf. But when an opportunity to work for a golfer lands her a job, she will take it. She is saving every penny to open her own flower shop.
Miles Day would hire the one girl that hates golf. Setting the tone for how they work together. He tells her that she is not to fall in love with him.
This book was so cute and light/fluffy book! I loved the characters and the romance is just absolutely adorable. The banter even made me giggle out loud a couple times. One thing that I liked about this story was that he hired someone who hates golf.
This is the second book in the ‘More Than a Game’ series.
I have only read one other golf book and honestly, this is much better than the first one!
Now I am excited for book three and I am going back and listening to book one.

This book was so cute!! I couldn’t stop listening to it.
I want to thank NetGally and Anna Conwell for allowing me to have this ARC for an honest review. ♥️

The Perfect Putt was a cute (audiobook) read! The narrators did a great job and I loved that this was a dual voiced audiobook. I enjoyed both the FMC and MMC characters, Ellie and Miles. Loved the banter and the sassiness between them and I enjoyed the side characters as well!
I have a read a few sports romance books but this was the first golf one and it was a fun read. This is a closed door romance book. I did think the book missed one scene (trying to not give anything away) and I’m still convinced it was supposed to be there but somehow my audiobook didn’t play it. It did feel rushed at the end but that kinda standard with sport romances in my opinion.
Overall I’m rating it 3.5, it was cute and the golf made it unique. Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for giving me this advanced audiobook for a honest review.

Annah does it again 3.75 stars!!! I did not think I would like another golf romance all that much, but this is such a cute work place romance!!! Miles and Ellie will hook you from page one with their endless banter and tension in this clean sports romance. He’s a professional golfer, and she is his new personal assistant who abhors golf. What could go wrong in this forced proximity reverse grumpy and sunshine master piece!!!
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape for my ALC.

Thoughts:
Miles has attachment issues. Ellie hates golf. From The Perfect Putt, you can expect romance, found family, and lots of swoony moments, like whipped cream and key lime pie.
First off, his parents are pretty terrible! That's all I will say there.
This was a really adorable story. I enjoyed getting to know the bunch of guys some more. I liked Miles, though he isn't quite as swoony as Shaw, he still has some great qualities and falls hard for Ellie.
Ellie is fierce, independent, and so great for Miles. At first she hates golf, and therefore isn't a big fan of his. But she softens. She helps him see that not all relationships are like his parents. I love it when she takes him somewhere to relax and destress before the big golf tournament. She really cares deeply for him.
I loved their dynamic and enjoyed watching them fall for each other.
I would definitely recommend this one. If you enjoyed Summer Ever After by Kortney Keisel, then you would also enjoy this one.
Audio Review: I enjoyed both narrators. They did a wonderful job.

Loved this story! It was so fun to see the different side (since we get glimpses of him in the first book). Their story was so sweet and honest! Loved every second. And the narrators were fantastic!

Ellie and Miles are an imperfect match. She hates golfers and he is a professional golf player and his new boss. But the more they share their time and their dreams the more they realise they ar perfect for each other. The audiobook with Sybil Johnson and Dillon Sickels is a grear one.

This was really cheesy and boring. I didn’t really care for the main characters. I did like the setting and the overall cheerfulness of the book. The narrator performances were very wooden. Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC audiobook

I am OBSESSED with Annah Conwell now. There, I said it. Her books are so compelling and her character are so loveable and relatable. I just finished book #1 in the Carter Brother's series before this book and I am fully in.
Miles and Ellie's drive and banter balance one another so well. I LOVE small town and sports romances and this one did not disappoint. The chemistry and growth between them. It was soooo good! Nice, clean, sports romance for the summer!
I cant wait to read more about Miles and his friend group across this series too. Will back track to Shaw and Sutton now!

Enjoyable read, yet I enjoyed this author’s other books a bit better. Still a sweet low stakes romcom. I like the focus on the sport and what it really takes to be a professional golf player. They are athletes and I really appreciated that take in this a story.
I enjoyed the way the characters connected and fell in love. The banter was also so fun!
The voice actors did an amazing job at bringing these characters to life and I enjoyed hearing them narrate.

Give me all the Hallmark holiday movie vibes, but make it summer and golf.
This was a cute grumpy meets sunshine story with naturally all the feel good things we all look for in rom-coms.
✔️Family drama
✔️They fall at the same time
✔️Falling for someone who does something you loathe
✔️Sports romance
✔️Small town
✔️Coastal beach romance
☯️Opposites Attract
Basically what I am saying is, if you are looking for a feel good beach read, this is your next read.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media!

I loved this audio book. The narrators were fabulous. The story was different because the sport focus was golf and I loved it. I loved that I already new some of the supporting characters from the golden goal. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series so I can get to know them all more.

Miles, a renowned professional golfer, is on the hunt for a new assistant, with one strict condition - no falling in love with him. Scarred by his parents' tumultuous marriage, Miles steers clear of relationships and marriage. When spirited Ellie applies for the position, despite her disdain for golf, Miles sees her as the perfect fit.
Ellie relocated to a quaint beach town to support her widowed sister and nephew, taking on odd jobs to save up for her dream of opening a flower shop. The opportunity to work as a personal assistant to a wealthy golfer like Miles could fast-track her aspirations. Despite her aversion to golf and her outspoken nature, Miles surprisingly hires her.
As they gear up for an upcoming golf tournament, Miles and Ellie navigate their contrasting personalities and banter-filled dynamic. Ellie begins to see a different side of Miles, while he finds himself drawn to her beyond her role as an assistant. Their evolving friendship sparks unforeseen feelings and challenges, leaving them to wonder what could possibly go wrong.

Just as cute and sweet as book one in this series! Golf romances are having a moment and I’m not mad about it! This one can definitely be read as a standalone but you’ll love it more if you read The Golden Goal first. We love a bingeable romance!💝
Read this book if you like:
-sports romance
-boss x assistant
-banter/teasing
-reverse grumpy x sunshine
The Perfect Putt is OUT NOW but will be nearly released in audio format on August 27th! If it's not already on your tbr, it should be!

Special thanks to Dreamscape Media for sharing a free copy with me in exchange for my honest opinions.

I love the premise of this book! FMC Ellie needs cash to save for her dream job of opening up a flower shop so she decides to take a job as an assistant to pro golfer Miles Day, a sport which she loathes. She inserts her foot in her mouth early on in their work relationship but they soon become friends. Both Ellie and Miles feel attracted to each other but Miles is worried he will repeat the history of his parents failed relationship so he unfortunately shuns having a relationship with Ellie.
It wouldn’t be a good contemporary romance without some swoony moments to bring the main characters back together and I think Annah is one of the best in writing these moments. The book was both sweet and swoony and I loved both the beach setting and every time Miles called Ellie “Red”. 🤭
The audiobook was a re-read of the book for me. I loved the book the first time I read it this summer but I have to say I think the audiobook might be even better! When I heard Dillon Sickels narrate for Miles Day I literally said out loud in my car, “He’s perfect! He sounds exactly how I would expect Miles to sound!” Now, I also have to show Sybil Johnson some love because she sounded great as Ellie too! Both Dillon and Sybil did a fantastic job narrating these characters and I was sad when the book ended. ☹️
Overall, it’s a solid 4.5 star rating for me and I would recommend it to anyone who loves sweet and swoony type books!

3.5 stars
Ellie needs a better job, but is reluctant to take one as assistant to Miles, a pro golfer with arrogance to spare. The two spar immediately, but the heat quickly changes to attraction. Can these two overcome their differences and past experiences and find love in the process?
I thought the narrators of this book gave stellar performances! The writing continues to be terrific throughout this series: "More Than a Game". I was immediately immersed in the story, which was made easier because of the fact that we've already grown to love these characters from the first book in the series: The Golden Goal. I ADORED seeing Shaw and Sutton being affectionate and adorable throughout this story. I learned about golf, and swooned hard at the ending.
The employer/employee relationship between our main characters felt unrealistic. I would have loved more romance and less heaviness regarding Miles' relationship with his parents. I experienced more fun romance from the main characters of the LAST book than I did from our CURRENT main characters, which was unfortunate. I was glad to see the characters grow, however.
Ultimately, I enjoyed this story, and look forward to the third book in the series! The young men around which this series revolves are exceptional, and I want to see each of them find love!
Trigger warnings: husband killed (off page), dysfunctional family dynamics (parent and son and ex-spouses), cheating (referenced)
I'd like to thank @dreamscape_media and @netgalley for the audio-ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

The Perfect Putt is a sweet romcom that’s the perfect palette cleanser. The audiobook is around 7 hours with very little drama and ultimate cuteness. Is it something I’ll come back to reread? No. Am I glad I took the time to listen to it? Yes. I had no doubt these two would fall for each other, and the book did not disappoint.
I received a free copy of this audiobook via NetGalley. It did not affect my review.

Ellie is just wanting to earn enough for her dream of owning a Flower Shop. When she gets tired of working at the coffee shop with her friend. Her friend says one of the pro golfers is looking for a personal assistant. This is a great idea.. NOT... Ellie hates golfers but she wants her dream more so she takes on the job for being the assistant of Miles Day. Miles is more of a I only care about golf and nothing else. He doesn't want love or a relationship. What happens when chemistry is to high? What happens when gold isn't the worst sport ever after all? What happens when golf isn't everything?
For someone who normally only reads open door romance. This book was so fun! The chemistry between the characters were great. You could tell that they adored each other. The audio was fantastic and the narrators did amazing and I am obsessed. I think they really made me enjoy this book even more than normal.
