Easter in the Barnyard by Dandi Daley Mackall is an absolute delight! This charming children’s book beautifully captures the essence of Easter while sharing its true meaning.
The story unfolds in a vibrant barnyard setting, filled with delightful springtime illustrations that truly bring the scenes to life. Each page is a visual feast, showcasing the joy and renewal that springtime brings. The colorful artwork complements the narrative perfectly, making it an enchanting experience for children and parents alike.
What I love most about this book is how it seamlessly weaves the familiar elements of Easter with a heartfelt message about love, hope, and new beginnings. It’s a wonderful way to teach children about the significance of the holiday, beyond the typical Easter eggs and bunnies.
Mackall’s lyrical storytelling is engaging, capturing the wonder of the season and the joy of the barnyard animals as they celebrate Easter. This book is not only entertaining but also serves as a meaningful introduction to the values of Easter, making it a perfect addition to any family’s holiday reading.
Overall, Easter in the Barnyard is a beautiful celebration of spring and the true spirit of Easter. I highly recommend it to families looking for a charming, educational, and visually stunning book to enjoy together!

Easter in the Barnyard may be one of the most joyous and precious picture books I’ve had the privilege to read.
The beautiful illustrations reflect the joyful anticipation of our risen Lord expressed through the barnyard animals.
The rhyming text is engaging and the pictures of the animals dressed in their Easter finery are shown as they praise God with their very own sounds.
I especially love the donkey wearing a garland of daisies around it’s neck, with a yellow chick on its back waving a palm branch.
I highly recvomend this book for your children, grandchildren, church children and everyone else to be read every Easter!!!
Excellence!

This charming Easter tale celebrates the resurrection of Jesus through the perspective of endearing barnyard animals. Told in engaging rhyme, the story captivates even the youngest readers, making it a delightful addition to Easter traditions. Presented in a sturdy board book format, it is perfectly sized for little hands while ensuring durability for repeated enjoyment.

What a sweet children's Easter book celebrating the true meaning of Easter, Jesus, instead of the Easter Bunny. It's hard to find solid faith filled picture books that are also fun and lighthearted, and I love this one. I would love to have this one in our home library.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

Really cute and entire story kept Easter Christ centered despite being narrated by the barnyard bunny. Totally plan to buy for my kiddos when it comes out! The illustrations are adorable and classic. Thank you netgalley for the ARC this is my honest review.

Adored it! Beautifully illustrated!
I enjoyed the rhyming. I thought it was sweet that the animals dressed up and praised God with their sounds. It was precious. This will be a picture book to read to children or grandchildren each year. I highly recommend getting a copy! I will be purchasing this book for my grandchildren. I appreciate @NetGalley and @tyndale for this opportunity. My opinion is an honest review.

I read this to my first graders and it was a big hit. We loved the illustrations. It would be a great book to read obviously around Easter time.
