Meghan Quinn is once again the Queen of Rom-Coms. This Christmas themed romcom is over the top with Christmas. The town of Kringletown is a year-round Christmas themed destination that amps up around the Christmas holiday. The characters are all aptly named, which adds to the festive feel of this book! We see how Storee and Cole went from friend to enemy, to frenemy and more all while pursuing the prestigious title of Town Kringle. True to Meghan Quinn fashion we were given the spicy spices that we all love. The narrator conversations are the funniest thing!I love a holiday themed romance and this is a must read!
Thank you so much Bloom Books and Meghan Quinn for this ARC to review!

Such a cute Christmas story to put me in the holiday mood! Meghan Quinn can do no wrong.
I fell in love immediately with Storee and Cole. They are the perfect match for each other the the epitome of the grumpy x sunshine trope. Storee is the out of towner who feels lost. She is also the girl next door. Cole is the hot local who is a bit of a recluse because he is still mourning the loss of his parents. He needs someone to thaw his heart, and who better than the bubbly girl who he had a huge crush on when he was younger. Although his feelings were always there, he tried to push them down and viewed her as the enemy. Watching these two compete against each other while dealing with the scorching hot tension was so entertaining. When Storee needed help though Cole was there in an instant.
The way the story between these two progressed was both hilarious and endearing. Watching Cole break down his walls and open up to Storee was so sweet. Storee was so patient with him and constantly let him know that she was there to support, not to push.
The zany side characters were of course great, and reading the shenanigans that these two got up to made me laugh out loud. And of course, I cannot forget about the spice. Quinn is the queen of all things spicy and even though this book took place in the winter, it had me sweating.

4.75 rounded up.
Meghan Quinn has a certain type of romance book she writes. It's like a bit more spicy Tessa Bailey but this one takes the entire Cake. It's a more fun and wild Christmas Rom-Com. Definitely sense the dr. Suess vibes while reading. However Meghan is able to take that and make it her own. I think my only gripe with the book was that I was not ready for how much Christmas it is. Which isn't bad but I'm definitely more in a spooky mood. Once Christmas comes I will love this more for sure!

Storee and Cole book is about christmas with spiced and naughty with a little bit of grief of lossing a love ones and trying to move on and what a better way to get in the christmas spirit. Storee and Cole compete in a competition in hoping both characters can help the other heal

How adorable was this?!
This book is packed with all the festive fun and serious Grinch vibes—in the best way possible!
Cole and Storee’s chemistry? Off the charts! Their banter? Sharp and hilarious! But they also had those emotional moments.
Oh, and can we talk about the little narrator sections before each chapter? They were so much fun!
I loved the competition between Cole and Storee. It brought all the laughs, but also gave us a front-row seat to their growing connection.
Perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit with a sweet, slow-burn romance that'll melt even the Grinch's heart!

Another incredible Meghan Quinn book! I truly love all her books, and her writing style. It’s giving allll the grinch vibes, but in a naughty way. So much fun to read - and got me excited for the holidays!

I wasn’t prepared for 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘋𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘺 👏🏼 Goodness! Meghan Quinn really just turned my favorite Christmas movie into the ideal rom-com. 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑴𝒚 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 was such a cute holiday romance. It’s like the spicy Hallmark version of the grinch and I freaking loved every second of it. There were SO many fun ways the grinch was incorporated into the story and I absolutely adored how it was done. It’s festive, laugh out loud funny, and dreamy. The small town of Kringletown felt picturesque and somewhere I would very much like to visit.
𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘦 + 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘦 are great leads to follow. They have a sweet romance, great banter, and some very emotional moments. 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘦’s story in particular was quite heart warming. I loved his growth and ability to move forward. I loved that in the end he chose to live again.
Highly recommend checking this book out. 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑴𝒚 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 is truly the perfect holiday read. Cozy up with a warm blanket, grab your hot cocoa, and curl up with 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘦 + 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘦’s holiday romance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and rate it 4/5 stars. I’m a huge Meghan Quinn fan and if she writes it, I will read it. On top of her being an author I really enjoy, I absolutely love Christmas books and this one did not disappoint. This book is released October 15, 2024. Thank you to Bloom Books, Meghan Quinn and Netgalley for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.

This was a cute Christmas rom-com with plenty of idea to How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was a spicy but cozy read.
There were some things mentioned way too many times (we get it, the MMC shaves his chest) and some that weren't talked about enough (the FMC was a movie editor and I think it should have played a larger part).
This got off to a slow start but it did read like a Hallmark movie and is something I'd recommend for someone wanting a wintery book with plenty of laughs.

Funny, flirty, and full of fa-la-la cheer! This new holiday romance is perfect mood-setter for the season and a classic Grinch redemption story! Highly recommend for fans of Sierra Simone and Julie Murphy’s holiday series!

I most definitely got the grinch vibes from the poetry some in the book and names. Quite hilarious.
I adored the characters and the especially the banter.
This was something different, but super cute. I am here for it.
Thank you Bloom Books for the e arc. Be on the lookout. PUB date 10/15/24

This was my first Meghan Quinn book, and after reading Bella’s Christmas Kringle, I'm eager to explore more of her work! It’s a super fun and festive holiday read that really pulls you into the Christmas spirit. The setting of Peppermint Cove and the holiday-themed activities were delightful—cookie decorating, storytelling, and the hilarious Nog fest added so much charm.
The dynamic between Bella and her grumpy neighbor Bennet was so much fun to watch unfold. Their back-and-forth banter had me genuinely laughing out loud, and Bennet’s over-the-top attempts to challenge her at every holiday event made for some hilarious moments. What I really loved was how the romance between Bella and Bennet slowly simmered—there’s heat, but it’s a gradual build, which made it feel more real and sweet. Watching their relationship evolve was satisfying, especially as they navigated their emotional baggage from the past.
This is the perfect holiday read if you want something light, funny, and with just the right amount of spice. I could definitely see myself reading this again around the holidays. It made me laugh, it made me root for the characters, and it put me in such a festive mood. Highly recommend for any holiday rom-com lovers!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

If your'e looking for a holiday romance that is whimsical, outlandish and heart warming then look no further.

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn is a friends to enemies to lovers twist on How the Grinch Stole Christmas- rhyming narrator and all! Cole and Storee were friends years ago when they were kids but in the decade that has passed since they've seen each other things have changed and Cole- despite his grumping around the holiday that his town is obsessed with, isn't about to stand idly by when Storee reluctantly returns to help care for her great aunt Cindy and enter the towns prestigious Christmas contest.
This story is fun, it's cute and while it's a slower burn it definitely packs some heat. All of Meghan's signature wit and charm is interwoven into these pages. Come on- putting two immaculately cut men up on stage in much too small lederhosen while lip syncing "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch" or a Happy Days themed nativity set are only something that can only come Meghan's beautiful mind.
I did struggle to really get into this book which isn't a norm for me when it comes to Meghan's writing. I wasn't really connecting with Cole or Storee at first and I struggled with understanding why Cole was so irritated by Storee's arrival to Kringle or why Storee seemed to have so much animosity toward the town and visiting it. Some insight to those feelings is addressed but it still didn't quite put everything into perspective for me. These two just seemed to be at odds in such a way that felt like way over the top but I did love the connection and draw between them as the story progressed and their relationship started to change.
This may not be a favorite of mine but it is still a fun holiday read.

What a fantastic play on “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”!
I really felt like I was a part of the community and having fun with everyone.
Storee gets tasked with taking care of her injured aunt in the most Christmas-y town that ever existed. When she arrives she runs into the town grump that happens to be her aunts neighbor and her childhood friend she saw many Christmas’s growing up.
If I had one note it would be that Taran never apologized to Cole.
I felt like it really was Christmas 🥰 I need to read this every year now to get in the proper holiday spirit 🥳

Review is up on Goodreads and i will be posting to TikTok closer to publication date.

This book solidified it for me, Meghan Quinn is the QUEEN of romantic comedies.
This book is the perfect holiday read - quirky, hilarious, and just the right amount of spice. It has everything you could want in a holiday romance, with the best romance tropes: childhood friends to enemies to lovers AND fake dating? Sign me up.
I devoured this book, and it put me in the ultimate Christmassy mood (yes, in September). This book will have readers everywhere running to snuggle up in front of a fireplace with a hot chocolate when it comes out.
A must-read this holiday season!

A short but cute book to kick off the winter months, I loved how it was written and definetly a new favourite!

The Grinch meets spicy Christmas?! Sign me up!
Storee hasn't visited her aunt for Christmas in 10 years since a humiliating accident happened. She can't face the town again until her aunt needs help after breaking her hip. She and her sister go to stay with her and she's immediately met with the boy she crushed on so many years ago. Instead of a warm welcome he gives her the Grinch treatment. She's not sure why but she rolls with it. They are both thrust into the town Christmas competition and are determined to demolish the other.
I loved the little narrator tid bits before the chapters, especially the ones where Cole and the Narrator are bickering. It had me cracking up! The take on the Grinch was executed so wonderfully and Meghan did great with bringing the characters of the movie to life but didn't make it feel like I was basically watching the movie also. The evolution of all the characters was so heartwarming. Storee and Cole bring out the best in each other and help them both to realize that they weren't really living due to their past traumas. This small Christmas town and its residents were so much fun and made me want to go live there. As always, the spice from Meghan is *chefs kiss*! I laughed, had some tears, and was hooked from the start! I am fully in the holiday spirit now thanks to the amazing Meghan Quinn!
Thank you Netgalley and Meghan Quinn for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

Let's take the Grinch and whoville but make it a small town rom-com and smut it up!
Two characters enter a contest to be the town's Christmas Kringle and the shenanigans ensue - but Cole is the boy next store and Storee might be the girl who got away! Author Meghan Quinn really leaned into the Dr. Suess rhymes and characters for this one but kept true to her small town romance with extra spice. There were a lot of laugh out loud moments and tons of grumpy/sunshine banter making it a fun holiday-themed read!
- Dual POV
- Small town (Christmas Town!)
- Steamy/Smutty
- Holiday-themed
- Rivals to lovers
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the arc of How My Neighbor Stole Christmas. Release day 10.15.2024
