This book .. WOW!! So I have bipolar 1 with an anxiety disorder as well and I know my family has it hard. I know I can be a burden and hard to deal with. However, this book really gave me a better idea of what my family goes through. The sister of the author in this book had no control over her life and had substance abuse issues and in the end had to go into a home. Let me just say, I just cried the entire book. Still have not stopped crying! This book was quite an eye opening experience for me. Now I feel like a bigger burden but I now know what I need to change to be better for my family. I am going to recommend this to my family so they can have a better idea of what’s going on in my head as well.

Linsey Willis is a saint for having written this book. Everyone who has bipolar disorder or those who know someone who has it would be happy to read Willis’ insights. The sections on (those were near the end) acceptance and copying were wisely written. I am very thankful for the author’s honesty and her research.

This book was not what I expected, and my criticism is on plenty of the aspects. When it is such, it may not feel constructive, hence, I would like to leave you with the pros.

Many thanks to the writer and netgalley once again.
