I enjoy a good cross-cultural novel, and I'm rather partial to India, so this one sounded like a win, and it didn't disappoint. A moving story about a daughter, her parents, and the grief that surrounds them all. I'd read more by this author in the future.

The author deftly handles this engrossing multi-generational saga set in three cities and three time periods. the family dynamic was really fascinating and emotional at times.
