Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an audiobook ARC. This was a good, easy listen. and the narration was brilliant. I liked the idea of the wish and figuring out the missing details but, I felt the characters needed to get to know each other more emotionally..

Many thanks to Netgalley, Swift & Lewis Publishing, LLC and the author for the ALC/ ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

What if you make a wish and wake up to find yourself to be living it? Anna Benoit is obviously surprised when after wanting to be a genie all her life, makes a wish which she didn't think she meant to make, seems to have come true. She is married to Max Barone who up until the day before did not even know her name, that too not for a day but a whole 7 years.

What follows is a delightful story of 2 people from very different world seeing each other truly for the first time, making new wishes while trying to unmake the very first one. Will they regret it, if the wish was unmade?

This was a rollercoaster and a beautiful one, with romance and spice and everything nice. A very predictable story presented in an unpredictable flow with the whimsical magical realism part keeping the will they / won't they alive.

Sarah has done it again! And I think this is the best one so far! I love the parallel universe idea of this one, and as all her books this one had clever dialogue, romantic scenes, and a great story. I listened to the audio book of this story as well and it was fantastic, the narrator was great! I would recommend this book, but I do recommend reading these books in order because there are Easter egg character appearances!

3.75 stars.

The idea of the plot was intriguing. A romantic's wish to be married to her insta-love came true but the one she wished for had no idea who she was. That description alone had me requesting this book. I was excited to see where the author would take the story. The plot was definitely interesting, and the banter and humor had me giggling; but I was sometimes annoyed with the FMC who came across a little naive and silly at times. But the story still held my interest throughout. I listened to the audio, so my review is a reflection mainly of the narration. The male narrator filled the role perfectly, but most of the narration was by the female FMC, so the female narrator was front and center. I have listened to books with this female narrator before and they were really good, but I felt like she was not a good fit for this character. I kept losing focus on the story because of it. Overall, the story was good, but the narration took away some of my enjoyment of it.

I received a free copy of this audiobook and this is a voluntary review.

This was a cute cozy Rom-Com. If you wish upon a.....NECKLACE?? I wonder if my jewels spell anything...

Want to know what I am talking about? ...READ THE BOOK!!

There is no need for a long review, this author does NA the right way. This is my second time reading a story written by Sarah Ready and I have yet again been broken and mended between the pages of her book. Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt did an outstanding job of bringing the story of Anna and Max to life. As I write this review I am smiling, this was really good!

A fun, quick romance journey. This story is a bit far fetched, but it makes it an escape. I think the characters were well written and I love that the female main character is unapologetically herself. I didn't love the amount of back and forth with them spiraling further and further into the consequences of their wishes, but I think the story was wrapped up fairly nicely. This book has plenty of spice.

Thank you to NetGalley for the gifted E-Arc of this book.

I went into this book blind and not realizing that it was part of a series. However, I was able to listen to this and not be lost. This was my first Sarah Ready book and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be picking up the first 3 in this series.

Plot: Anna is a cleaner at Max’s estate. She’s cleaning his library and stumbles upon a necklace. She makes a wish on the necklace to be married to Max and next thing you know it comes true. This is where her world flips on its axis and she realizes that things aren’t always as they seem.

I enjoyed this book. The audiobook was only 9ish hours so it was a quick listen. I loved that they used multiple narrators and it wasn’t just one person attempting to o the voices for both main characters. Excellent narrators make excellent audiobooks and this was true for Wished. The male narrator’s voice was dreamy and I could listen to him narrate anything. He could read a nutrition label for me and I would swoon. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were some plot holes at the beginning. I felt like there were bits and pieces that could have been added to the story towards the first half to beef it up a little. For instance, jumping straight into Anna being in love with Max. Well what about Max makes her love him? There was a little bit of spice in the book.

Overall, it was a good contemporary romance that had a feel-good storyline. I can’t wait to jump into the earlier books.

Honestly, I loved everything about this book. The pacing, the story, the characters, the tropes ... all of it was fan-freaking-tastic. If you are in the mood for a magical realism romance to read this fall, please add this book to your list. Max and Anna had me hooked from the first sentence of this book.

Anna has been cleaning Max's house for three years, and she fell in love with him the first time she saw him. And then she fell in love with him a little more each day as she learned more about him. The only problem? Max doesn't know her name and definitely doesn't see her until one day, she makes a wish. She wakes up in a world where everyone thinks she's married to Max—well, except for Max. Except, he has memories of both the real world and this imagined one. And this imagined one is filled with love and passion and romance. It's everything a person could want in a relationship. Isn't it?

I know love at first sight—especially when it's one-sided—can be a hit or miss in books (at least for me), but this book was an absolute hit. The chemistry between Max and Anna was undeniable. I know it doesn't totally make sense to say there's undeniable chemistry when Max and Anna don't talk for the first three years of knowing each other, but please trust me on this. The way everything plays out between them was truly magical.

It's hard to talk about this book without spoiling something, so I'm just going to repeat: if you are in the mood for magical realism this fall (or at any time in your life), put this book on your list. I had such a great time reading this book. I'm honestly a little sad to be leaving this world, but I am so excited to see what Sarah writes next.

Absolutely loving this series!! This is hands down my favorite premise of them yet!

We follow Anna, a maid who is hopelessly in love with Max. He’s handsome, well read, smart, focused, a jewelry mogul annnnnd doesn’t really know she exists.
But when Anna comes across a very special necklace while dusting one day, the two soon are brought together for better or worse. We all know you can’t really take back wishes…

If you haven’t read Fated, you may not enjoy this as much, since some of the MMC’s motives and actions can be attributed to groundwork that was established prior. And having read it, I was SO ready to see how Max could possibly get a HEA. If I get picky, a few moments of Max early on seemed to quick to love maybe, but the plot advanced and it was short lived. Really enjoyed this one! 4 ⭐️

Thanks to NetGalley and to Swift & Lewis Publishing, LLC for this advanced audiobook in exchange for my unbiased review!

This was a great premise but there was so much insta-love with almost no backstory that it took me out loving it. If there had been more interactions between the two before the wish was made this easily would have been at least another star. I will still look forward to more from Sarah as they are fun and interesting concepts.

Thank you to Netgalley and Publishers for offering me an audio arc in exchange for an honest review.

I don't read much magical realism, but this was a sweet romance, aside from the insta-love. The female lead wishes upon a necklace to be married to her employer, a jewelry tycoon. When her wish comes true overnight, she begins to question the basis of their love. Prior to this, their mutual love was so convincing and sweet. Their travels made it even more interesting. I would have liked more development in their true relationship, but it was still entertaining.

📔+🎧: Wished- Ghosted Book #4-can be read as a standalone

✍🏾By Sarah Ready- read all the books in series & gave them 4/5 ⭐

Rating: 4/5 ⭐

Format: eBook 313 pgs. and audiobook run time: 9:36

🗣️Narrators: Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt. Story told by Anna with a few chapters from Max. I loved Max's British accent. All the voices were distinct, but I could easily tell the difference between all characters. The reading style brought the story to life and the pacing was great and flowed easily with the story. The narration and the author were in sync, and they fit together perfectly. The narrators paused and announced new chapters. The book had a table of contents which helped me follow along with the e-book and audio.

🌍Setting: Geneva, Switzerland & Paris, France

The only problem is they have memories of both timelines-Anna as the maid with Max's indifference and Anna and Max married for seven years.

🎭The characters

🚺Anna Benoit-25, cleans Max's chateau, a hopeless romantic
🚹Maximillan Barone-30, a billionaire who owns a jewelry empire, very stoic, doesn't believe in true love.
Fiona-Max's BFF he was in love with in Fated
Dorene-Anna's boss
Emme-Anna's younger sister

⚠️TW: kidney disease-not H/h, alcoholism, DV, child abuse

🤔My Thoughts: I enjoyed the last book in this series, but it felt a little rushed. There wasn't an extra surprise that the other books had to give me that wow factor. Anna was a heroine to root for as she went after the man she loved. Max started off a grump but changes his tune about Anna. They had a lot of sexual chemistry and had conversations about family, jewelry, and attempts to reverse the wish. I loved the epilogue catching up with the previous couples. A good end to a great series!

WOWWWWW did I love this book!
I listened on Audiobook and the narrators were brilliant.
There were moments when the timeline caught me off guard and it took me a minute to figure out where we were and what was happening, but by the end it wrapped up so beautifully.

I found myself holding my breath and hoping that each new turn in the story would bring the resolution I was waiting for, and I've never experienced that in a romance book like I did with this one!

and I've never wanted to go to Paris, but suddenly it's moving up to the top of my list!

I enjoyed listening to Wished most of it narrated by Amanda Ronconi and the pro- end epilogue by Will Watt. I found his very deep voice a little creepy.
Anna is a cleaner in Max’ chateau and fell in love with him the first time she saw him. He is blissfully unaware of her. She then makes a wish which comes true, but will it work?
I loved the moral dilemma Anna finds herself in.
An enjoyable, light listen.

Looks like I'm in the minority here (after looking over the many 5-star reviews) but I just could no get into this audiobook and it ended up in my Did Not Finish pile. I did not care for the narrators voices at all - both voices rubbed me the wrong way so much that I could not get into the storyline. I liked the description but the story, with those two narrators, was just lacking for me..

thank you so much to netgalley for gifting me an early copy of the audiobook! all opinions are my own!

someone please explain to me why i became so addicted to this series even tho i haven't started it from book one 😂😂
i was super excited to read about Max's story after reading about him in book 3 and knowing i needed him to be happy. and oh my goodness, this book delivered! he kept his coolness while trying to figure out why would a girl who cleaned his house for three years wished to be married to him 😍 her point of view was amazing, i loved how the story changed and the small detail that it was Max who remembered most of their "love story", but whaaaaat omg when the plot thickened and i started to get anxious as to how this would get resolved 😱😱 their flaws were there and so was their wish to be loved, and i love how they both treated love as something super different but similar at the same time. it made me gasp and yell and swoon, exactly what i wanted. my only complain was the fast pace but that didn't make me like it less.
both narrators did an excellent job, and after hearing the male narrator i wish Max would've had a POV as well. i'm so in love with this series and now probably would be a good time to read the first two books 😉😂

And again- I wasn’t disappointed! What a beautiful story Sarah Ready wrote!
I think I’ll never get tired of those romances!

I absolutely loved this book! I dont think I've ever read or heard of anything with a similar concept.
This story is about a house cleaner named Anna who makes a wish that she was married to her boss, Max, and that he loved her. Immediately after making the wish, she takes it back when she starts to really think about how crazy that would be. But there are no backsies in wish making. What follows is how everything is affected by her wish.
I really liked Anna. She did everything in her power to make sure the people around her were loved and cared for. I think she was a little bogged down by life and just trying to survive. Her wish made her see everything in a different light and changed her goals, hopes, and dreams.
I honestly wasn't a huge fan of Max when the story started. But my opinion of him changed fairly quickly. Anna's wish also caused him to reevaluate and change his hopes and dreams.
This is a part of a series (which I haven't read), but I didn't have any trouble following the story. A Fiona was mentioned a few times, so I looked it up, and her story is the one before this. I will definitely be checking out the other books in this series.
I listened to the audio book, which was narrated by Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt. I thought both narrators did an excellent job. A large majority of the book is narrated by Amanda. She has a good pace and helped me picture the story without having to see the words. He did not have a lot of chapters, but Will's part, especially with his accent, was - chef's kiss.
I highly recommend checking this book out. It's not a paranormal or supernatural romance. The wish making and receiving is more like a lucky penny type thing. It's not a witches and wizard type of story.

I really enjoyed this book. It made me think back on all the wishes I have made growing up and thinking about what my life would be like today if any of those had come true. I loved Max and I think Anna is adorable. Their romance was an easy one to listen to especially with the dual narration. It was a quick read!

Wished is a cute, fluffy, slightly spicy story of magical realism and romance. It gave me 13 Going on 30 and Cinderella mashup vibes, and I enjoyed it! The story and the audio were a great palette cleanser and little escape.

Max is your classic millionaire @sshole, but it took a slap from reality...or is it?...to get him to realize what's important. Anna has been his employee for years, and in love with him for just as long, but she feels invisible. It takes a wish on a magical piece of jewelry to set them both on a collision course with fate...and maybe love. The story itself felt a little too insta-love on Anna's part, but given that it's a story of magical realism, it wasn't outside the realm of possibility. Otherwise it was sweet, entertaining, funny, with just a dash of steamy.

Will's delivery is, as always, excellent. His voice is incredibly versatile and molds itself well to a variety of personality traits, and his portrayal of Max did not fall short of that. Amanda was new to me, but she did a great job as well in her personification of Anna.
