Wished by Sarah Ready is the fourth book in the Ghosted series and it's beautiful, emotional, and inspiring like all previous ones! When I saw this book I literally screamed and could not wait to get my hands on it!

Truly in Ghosted style - there is something that Anna wishes for - it's Max. There is just one problem, she is his cleaner and he never bothered to learn her name! She made a wish and both of their worlds fell upside-down! There is just one problem - it's not real!

I am choosing romance in between thrillers to get some balance and you know I absolutely love this series! Since Ghosted, I always hoped there would be one more and luckily they all are so good! I don't know what but something makes it so for me! They always are emotional and with such a deep meaning! I JUST LOVE THEM, OK?

As usual, narrator Amanda Ronconi has done a fantastic job but as I said before I believe that for me, doesn't matter who will narrate the story, I will love it! You just can't go wrong with Sarah's Ready writing! I must say I held my breath at the beginning when Will Watt started this book as it should be a female voice to fit in the series but all good, main narrator is Amanda Ronconi! The balance between the narrator's voice and the characters was just perfect!

p.s. you can read them in mixed order after the second book.

I really enjoyed this book! This was my tired as my favorite with the first in this series, Ghosted.

This book had a really fun plot with wishing, and just the right amount of magic. I love that there is magic mixed in with this love story. It makes it more exciting with some more drama.

Anna cleaned Max’s house, and makes a wish on him that they are married. She wakes up and is in a whole new world. While she remembers she made the wish and isn’t supposed to be there, she goes along with it. Even she goes to visit him at work, everybody there knows her as Max’s wife. Everybody but Max.

While Max has memories of their “marriage and past”, they decide to do something spontaneous and actually get to know eachother.

I love the way this plot unfolds. I love Max’s and Anna’s journey to find out if their love is real, and the magical times they get to spend together.

While Max never cared for nor wanted love, he is soon discovering he cannot live without Anna.

Both characters were wonderful and so sweet! Definitely worth the read or listen!

What if you made a wish and it came true? Anna makes a wish to be married to Max. She fell in love with him on first site and now she cleans his house. She knows they would be perfect together if only he would see her. Well now he does… so is her wish real?

This book is filled with magical realism and was so much fun to read. I loved the characters and see them navigate this wish and create their own magic.

I haven’t read any books by Sarah before but I know I will as this was such a good read.

I was at chapter 10 before i came up from reading.

The story was magical, fun, cute, well paced, and kept my attention.

Wished is the second book by the author that I’ve read, and I will definitely be reading more, as both stories have been very enjoyable reads.

I switched between reading the ebook and listening to the audiobook, narrated by Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt - both narrators do an excellent job and add even more to the story.

Recommended.

Max finally got his HEA! I was rooting for this guy since the previous book. This grumpy guy only needed the perfect sunshine character to get him out of his stoic views on love and marriage. I loved that the wish pushed both of them into the alternate reality so they were both aware of their true reality. It added a layer of truth that was needed for them to build their romance from the ground up. The insta-love worked because it was unrequited and changed throughout the story. Overall I was hooked from the beginning and really liked the MCs.

I have read and loved several of Sarah’s books. This one I didn’t care much for. I did not realize this was a part of a series but I don’t think there were many overlapping characters. I thought Anna was lovely. She knew what she wanted and wished for it. But sometimes what you wish for isn’t what you get. She could’ve taken the easy route but would’ve been living a lie. Anna has been hopelessly in love with Max since the first time she saw him. In the three years that she's been cleaning his house for, she mustered the courage to talk to him. Why would he anyway? He comes from a rich family, and she's just a housekeeper. Until one day when she finds a special necklace at Max's place that will supposedly make all your dreams come true. And Anna wishes to be married to him. Next thing she knows, she wakes up in a new reality where she's Max's wife.

That was so cozy, so wonderful! I loved the chemistry between Anna and Max, so sizzling! The story is very much giving 2000s romcom vibes and I was so down for it!

I enjoyed this romance so much! So far all the books in this world have been fun and have a wonderful touch of magic to them. The wish granting was a great addition to this book and made the story really fun and whimsical. I adored Anna and Max, they were such a great couple and I loved that they got their happily ever after.

The premise of this book is absolutely enchanting, and the narration only added to its charm. Anna Benoit and Max Barone’s magical, whirlwind romance had me hooked from start to finish. Anna, a house cleaner who has long harbored feelings for Max, makes a wish and wakes up as his wife, setting the stage for a fun and heartwarming story. Anna’s sweetness and honesty shine through, while Max, initially cold, slowly becomes more likable.


Despite the overall cuteness of the story and engaging characters, I found myself a bit let down by how quickly the romance developed. The insta-love aspect, one of my least favorite tropes, felt like it rushed what could have been a wonderful build-up of chemistry between Anna and Max. I was craving more depth and connection in their interactions, which would have added to the emotional impact.


That said, the book still delivered on entertainment, and I adored how it explored the idea of getting what you wish for, only to question what love really means. The magical realism added a whimsical touch, and the deeper questions kept the story from feeling too predictable.


If you're a fan of lighthearted, magical romances and don't mind an insta-love vibe, this audiobook is an enjoyable and engaging escape!

I loved the premise and narration! I didn't, however love that it felt insta-lovish to me. That is one of my least favorite tropes. I was missing the chemistry and build up between the characters.

This was such a fun concept, as a child I was also obsessed with the idea of genies. Every different wish put me on the wdge of my seat, worried how our couple would make it through. I was surprised how spicy this was based on the cover but it was a pleasant little addition. The kooky boss Doreen made me giggle so much and the male narrator/POV was sickeningly sweet, I loved it.

I have absolutely adored this series, I can only hope Sarah Ready keeps writing more magical realism plots because she is so old at finding different concepts. This is probably not my favorite in the series as I just didn't love the characters but I enjoyed it just the same. Highly recommend this entire series to anyone looking for a hit of magical realism.

Anna cleans Max's house for a living, and develops feelings for him. Then, she makes a wish for them to be married, and wakes up as his wife. Anna is sweet and honest, and Max is mean (he grows on you though). The story was fun and very entertaining!

Sarah Ready’s Ghosted series continues to deliver. I think this MMC is my favorite one in the series. He’s tall, dark, and handsome, a bit gruff, very commanding yet tender, fabulously wealthy, perfectly devoted, and has an amazing accent. Swoon! The audiobook narrator’s voice was super sexy.

I enjoyed the plot and felt it unfolded well. The settings were gorgeous. I felt like I was in Geneva, Paris, and San Tropez. And the side characters were distinctive and fun.

This is an enjoyable addition to the series. I love how diverse each book is, and how the magical/sci-fi elements fit each story so well.

Review: As the fourth book in the series, "Wished" is by far my favorite. It blends magic and romance into a sweet and enchanting story. Pros: This book grabbed me from the start, and I quickly became attached to these characters. Max and Anna are my favorite Ghosted couple. The narration for this title was lovely. I love Amanda Ronconi and Will Watt (this may be my first time listening to either actor's narration). Their voices blended beautifully and added so much to my listening experience.

This book was so cute and the first one I’ve read of this authors. Needless to say, I will be reading the rest of this series. Max and Anna are super adorable together. Although I’m jealous of this fictional couple LOL I’d love to meet a max. Haha. Highly recommend this book!

I have so loved this series by Sarah Ready! After the last book and my introduction to Max, I wasn’t sure what I would think of his story. I can now say that I loved it just as much as the others! Max and Anna were such enjoyable characters- well Max in love is, not so much grumpy mean Max!
