No one writes like Helena Hunting.

She is a master at getting her readers to feel the emotions her characters are feeling.

She is one of the few new adult authors I started reading and have never stopped.

Super short and super sweet. I read this completely out of order and without any prior memory of the series. I enjoyed it but again it is sooo short that before you know it, it's over.

This is a novella which continues the plotline in the first two books, but is really the story of Chris and Sarah. They have their own issues to deal with and although not as heavy as in the first books, it's still complicated and messy.

I actually liked them better as a couple because they didn't seem as desperate. I felt they really completed each other and supported each other, even if they were hesitant to really put themselves out there.

Good addition to the series.

Having met these two through Tenley and Hayden, it was neat to get to know them through their own story...and then neat to see them in their own novel; it definitely gave perspective to what was going on with them. As with the other novels in this series, the deeper I got into it, the more I enjoyed it--sometimes the writing was a smidge bumpy in dialogue or just tightening up characterization but ultimately, it smoothed itself out.

I just love this series as well all books by Helena Hunting, her style is unique and will grab you forever. Cracks in the Armour had me wanting to know more and more about Sarah and Chris. Definitely a must read.

I had a hard time finishing this book. I gave up a while ago and haven't come back to it until now. I aologize for not giving a proper review, but this title didn't entice me to read a substantial part of the book so I feel as though a review would be premature, especially since this was so long ago.

Best of luck,

TKB
