I really enjoyed this book and like that although part of a larger series, it is very readable as a standalone book. Tom Rollins is very Reacher like, appears to be nomadic and getting into trouble even when he isn’t looking for it. In Kill Switch (book 14 in the Tom Rollins series) he is working nights as a cook in a diner while doubling as their security guard and living in a bare apartment. Until one day when he feels something is wrong and years in special ops has taught him to pay attention to that feeling.

The whole false flag operation and blame the main character thing has been done so often it would usually put me off a book but there is something about this one that makes it a page turner. I wish we got to see a little more of Nina’s fallout at the end but I was invested in finding out the why and who behind the attacks – and whether he would get double-crossed by the people he helped.

Kill Switch is almost an action movie in a mystery book. Lots of violence and death if that bothers you. It blends in themes of greed, the issues of using AI and political motivations – so a little something for everyone.

This was my first Paul Heatley book and I enjoyed it very much. The hero, Tom Rollins, is a Reacher type and there's plenty of action throughout with twists and turns. The short chapters help you to read it quickly. Now, where are the rest of Mr Heatley's books?

Kill Switch is the newest book in the Tom Rollins Thriller series. This series is reminiscent of the Grey Man series because both main characters find themselves right in the middle of trouble! As usual this story provides the reader with nonstop action.
In this book Paul finds himself living a fairly normal life working as a cook in a diner. He likes his coworkers, keeps them safe during their overnight shift, and he finds himself interested in a local cop, Nina, life seems to be going well for Tom.
But what Tom doesn’t know is that someone has a plan to frame him and he is stalked and kidnapped and unfortunately for Nina she is taken as well. But what the kidnappers do not know is they picked the wrong two people to frame!
This is a fast paced story and is easy to read. I truly enjoyed this book but I cannot wait for the next book. This story is complete but the epilogue sets us up for the next adventure, and a friend is in trouble!!!!! This book is a solid 4 stars and I highly recommend it.
Thank you to Paul Heatley, the publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me an advanced copy to read and review.

Fast and easy to read book as always, but the quality of the plot and action is bad. Too many things that are strange and illogical makes the reader frustrated.

Tom Rollins is still trying to stay away from trouble. That is easier said than done. Kill Switch by Paul Heatley is the 14th adventure with Rollins and it's an action filled story from cover to cover. This time it has some new technology like AI and doctored film footage. Will Tom and his friend make it? Well the book is in stores around the end of September and then you can check it out for yourself, I recommend that you do. I send some thanks to Inkubator Books and Netgalley for letting me read this advance copy.

They needed a fall guy. They picked the wrong man. Former black ops specialist Tom Rollins is working as a short order cook in San Francisco. Living the quiet life. Or at least trying to. But for a man like Rollins, trouble is never far away! Great book and series!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! Can’t wait for more!! This book had great suspense, action packed, murder, mystery, AI, a good who done it, crazy chases , and a few twists and turns! The story was very interesting and kept me glued to my kindle! I highly recommend reading this book and series!! I can’t wait for more!! Thank you NetGalley , the author and publisher for sharing this book with me!

Tom Rollins contributed traveling the country and now finds himself worked as a short-order cook in a San Gramcisco diner. The bad guys, however, have other plans for him. They want to use him as a scapegoat. Tom makes a connection with a SF cop, Nina, who by association also become a fugitive when bombs are set off. Running from honest cops, dishonest cops (who have a grudge against Nina), and many others. The two must clear their names and get justice for the bad guys.

I got a copy yesterday and finished it today, having read it till late lat night I was reluctant to put it down, it was such a page turner, Tom Rollins and Nina are the main characters and they get framed for a bombing, obviously they are innocent, but the people of San Francisco are looking for them, and not many people think they are innocent. How do they get out of this situation , indeed do they get out of it? That question will be answered if you read the book, and I would highly recommend that you do, if you love thrillers that keep you glued to the pages, wondering what is going to happen next, as I do. This is possibly the author's best novel yet, and his novels are consistently excellent so that says a lot.
