Ninguna de las historias me gustó. Las protagonistas son personas débiles y manipulables que perdonan a los protagonistas sin importar lo que les hagan.

Que alguien aleje a Becca de esos pobres caballos.

Lisa Jackson is an auto buy author for me. You’ll Find Out was a great duo of stories by her. I definitely recommend it!

Two great reads. Mara can’t believe that Shane is alive. She thought that he had died all those years ago. She had no choice but to marry another man. He is also gone now all that is left is her daughter. But she fears that Shane will take her away now that he knows about her. Shane can’t believe that she moved on so quickly & he can’t Mara let another bring up their daughter. Can they put the past behind them and move forward?

Rebecca lost everything the man that she loved, her reputation and a prized thoroughbred horse. She has taken a long time to find a way through all that pain and now everything has come full circle. She never thought that she would need to see Brig again. But he needs her but can he let her walk away again? They have a painful past that was filled with so many dreams but that was all taken away. But can they find their way back together again? Will they be stronger together than apart?

Good reads. Stronger characters.
Thank you Netgalley & the publisher for the copy. This is my voluntary review.

Okay, I have an unpopular review coming. I honestly hated this book. The characters were terrible and very unlikeable. The story was preposterous. I know it's fiction, but this was so unrealistic it was hard to keep reading. Way too much prose with many adjectives, hardly any dialog. I found myself skimming most of it to get it over. I will be giving up on this author, it just isn't for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for gifting me this ARC in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are my own.

I received an advance reader's copy of You'll Find Out by Lisa Jackson from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, I quite enjoyed the book and it made a tedious morning at the airport fly by while I read. There was action, intrigue, chemistry, and romance. The characters were well-crafted, the pace of the novel was steady, and there were some surprises. Definitely worth reading.

The first narrative, "The Shadow of Time," centers around Mara, who has spent the last four years mourning the loss of her partner, Shane, following a devastating bombing overseas. Just as she begins to rebuild her life and come to terms with her grief, Shane reappears, alive but furious upon discovering that Mara has moved on without him. The tension between the couple is palpable, as Mara grapples with mixed emotions—joy at Shane's return, but resentment at his accusation of abandonment. The complexity of their relationship is beautifully portrayed, showcasing Jackson's skill at fleshing out characters and their motivations.
The stakes are raised not only by Shane's return but also by an unseen threat that looms over them. Jackson masterfully crafts suspense as Mara realizes that someone is determined to sabotage any chance for a new beginning.
In the second story, "Gypsy Wind," readers meet Becca, who is still reeling from the fallout of a family scandal that nearly destroyed her horse farm. Her unresolved feelings for Brig Chambers add layers of complexity to her life, as the history between them is fraught with accusations and heartbreak. This narrative explores the tension between desire and distrust, revealing how past traumas can haunt present relationships.
Jackson deftly navigates the emotional landscape of Becca and Brig’s dynamic, showcasing how their attraction is compromised by their complicated history. As they attempt to navigate their feelings, an old enemy lurks in the shadows, posing a threat not just to their potential relationship but to everything Becca holds dear. The sense of danger adds an exhilarating edge to the unfolding romance.
"You'll Find Out" is a testament to Lisa Jackson's ability to weave intricate plots with rich character development and psychological depth. The dual narratives allow for a multifaceted exploration of love and redemption, making each storyline compelling in its own right. Jackson's talent for balancing emotional intensity with suspense creates an engrossing reading experience that keeps you turning pages late into the night.
With themes of resilience, heartbreak, and the enduring quest for love amidst chaos, "You'll Find Out" is a must-read for fans of romantic thrillers. It beautifully captures the essence of human connection in the face of adversity.

Two great stories, very well written and enjoyable. Both super fast reads with deceits, betrayal and secrets. Both held my attention and I really enjoyed them.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this book. You'll Find Out by Lisa Jackson contains two previously published novels, The Shadow of Time and Gypsy Wind. Both contain a female and male main character that were separated for many years and brought back together by a death. I did enjoy Gypsy Wind more than The Shadow of Time. Both contained secrets, deceit and betrayal. Both have suspense as you figure out the betrayal and uncover the secrets.

I enjoyed both stories. They made me realize why this author has always been one of my favorites!

The Shadow Of Time

There is a lot of deceit and secrets in this book. A lot of the side characters aren’t very nice people. They are snobbish and self centered. It’s a short story that is easy to read.

Gypsy Wind

This book is about betrayal and secrets. It’s about horse racing and breeding. It’s an interesting short story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

You'll Find Out by L. Jackson contains 2 novels, previously published.
The Shadow of Time and Gypsy Wind.
The Shadow of Time Blurb: After four long years, Mara Wilcox had finally come to accept that her lover, Shane Kennedy, had been tragically killed in northern Ireland. But now, inexplicably, he was back - as handsome, arrogant, and sensual as ever - and he was mad as hell that Mara hadn't cared enough to wait for him while he was in the hospital recovering from a horrific bombing.

Gypsy Wind Blurb: Passions run high in horse-racing circles, but thoroughbred breeder Becca Peters keeps a tight rein on her emotions. Except when it comes to Brig Chambers. Six years after he shattered their relationship with dangerous accusations, he’s back, stirring up trouble...and undeniable heat.

2 well written intriguing stories, 4,5 stars.

I didn’t realize that this book was two older novels together in one volume. I enjoyed the first story but was surprised when it ended and there was another story. If you haven’t read them or don’t remember them you will enjoy this book. It’s hard to go wrong with a Lisa Jackson novel

Written by a favorite author, these stories are realistic with characters who keep the story moving quickly. Secrets among family add to the intrigue. A young widowed mother discovers her child’s father is still alive. She doesn’t tell her family. Her business is in trouble. Her problems keep her upset. (The first story). The second one is as full of problems….thanks Netgalley
