I am a big fan of the Teen Titans, and Starfire has always been one of my favorites of that gang. I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I have some of the previous books in this series by Kami Garcia and have enjoyed them all. Her writing is great and the illustrations are wonderful.
It was really interesting to read about a person with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). I knew nothing about this, but am wanting to find out more.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series!

A nice continuation to the series. Starfire is a wonderful addition to the team and like the changes made to her origins. Her have EDS was some nice representation. Victors inclusion is also nice and I love how no one in the book really draws attention to his cyborg parts, they are just seen as a part of him. I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Starfire is the latest addition to Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo Teen Titan series and I loved every minute of it! This is hands down my favorite comic series! Every time I see the next one announced, I obsess over it until release day. The OG Teen Titans show was/is my favorite, so to see the story reimagined with such beautiful artwork warms my cynical heart. I will consume EVERYTHING that Gabriel Picolo creates, sight unseen. His Instagram has such special sneak peaks into the lives of our Titans that I want to crawl inside and live there! Has this issue come out yet? No. Am I already anxiously awaiting the next installment? Obviously.

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!!! I super appreciate being able to read this as an ARC.

The art is flawless, as always. I also just adored getting to see Kori and her discovery of her powers, and her tension with her sister. I can’t wait to see how it all ties together, and I really can’t wait to have a copy soon to add to the series on my shelf.

I will be gushing about this one for a while!

Book 5 in the Teen Titans @dcofficial YA graphic novel series by the GOATS @kamigarcia & @_picolo

Kori got a job at the country club her older sister works at, but doesn’t fit in with any of her coworkers. She’s much rather be gazing at the stars and is a homebody in large part to the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome she has which causes her muscles to fatigue quickly. Kira, on the other hand, is popular, gorgeous and has a hot boyfriend that Kori isn’t a fan of. When Kira goes to a big pharmaceutical company that her boyfriend’s uncle is the CEO of thanks to secret powers she’s just inherited, Kori’s own powers begin surfacing as well. When a group of teens show up to warn Kori of the dangers of the company and their intentions, the sisters’ relationship fractures apart as Kori and Kira choose opposing sides.

Another winner by this creative duo! Of course we get a cliffhanger, but I can wait forever for more because this series is just chef’s kiss. The artwork, the coloring, the teen angst, relationships, friendships and backstories are all just amazing. My students can’t get enough of these characters. No notes whatsoever! This title releases November 5!

I would like the Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo treatment for all my fav superheroes please! I used to think that nothing would ever make me feel the way about the Teen Titans that the cartoon show did, but I'm so thankful for the care that this series gives the characters. They feel so real and relatable while still being heroes. I can't wait for more!
