I saw this cover on NetGalley and was immediately intrigued. As a cat lover and travel dreamer (I’d love to travel more but it’s just not in the cards) this book was exactly what I needed! Not only are the illustrations adorable, but there is a good amount of educational information about Japan. It was a pleasant surprise to see as much content in the book as there was. To be honest I thought it was going to be mostly illustrations of cats traveling, but that wasn’t the case. I think this is a read for all ages.
Thank you NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for an advanced copy of this book!

Cats on ROLLER SKATES? In their little seats at the movies? Taking a bath with rubber duckies? I died. This is the sweetest, most adorable book in the world.

Have you ever wondered what it would look like if the world was run by adorable little cats instead of hoomans? In this cute, short story we get to see just that through illustrations of Mofusand's well-known and well-loved cats as they take a trip across Japan. This is mostly illustrations with some elementary text to guide the story along on pages here and there. The cats were pudgy and kitten-like in appearance, with varying expressions that made me laugh a few times. I'd rate their squishability as 10/10. Would definitely love to cup their cute, pudgy faces in my hands.
Aside from just traveling along with the cats, we also get a peek inside of Japanese culture, mostly through food, but through other elements as well such as places, history, culture, and animals. This is done by dressing up the cats to represent each specific subject. It's not a deep dive, just the Japanese words and what they mean in English. Any cat lover would appreciate this as well as anyone who is interested in Japan or is trying to teach their little one about Japan.
Thank you to Udon Entertainment and NetGalley for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

This delightful and cozy illustration book full of friendly felines is a must buy for fans of all things cats. The illustrations are adorable, bright, and full of life and the book is well-organized. I enjoyed the various facts and tidbits about Japan interspersed throughout the book and I enjoyed all of the various adventures that cats experienced through the lens of the illustrations. Wonderful art and a comforting and cozy read.

This art book gave me diabetes it’s so freaking cute. 10/10. Not really sure what else to say. Would definitely make a great gift for cat lovers and/or fans of Mofusand.

Very cute book. Love both the story portions as well as the illustrations depicting the various cultural differences between Japanese prefectures.

Thanks to NetGalley and the author for granting me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Yeah, sure, I'll spend my life savings on gachapon. After this book, it seems like a fair trade.

The cat illustrations are well-drawn and make the cats look very fluffy and cute. The food illustrations looked tasty.
Cuteness overload!
Loved it!

This book was so adorable and a great palette cleanser for me. While there is some text, it is mostly a picture book of all the Mofusand cats in different travel locations and doing different activities, everything ranging from going to an amusement park, to getting relaxing spa treatment. The art style is whimsical and fun, and there were little tidbits here and there that were entertaining, sprinkled among the images. It was a super quick read, but also super fun.

Absolutely adorable! I loved flipping through the pages and seeing the traveling cats with all their goodies and souvenirs. They were so cute and fun to go along on the journey with them;. I will be recommeding this book to others!

Absolutely scrupulously adorable!!! Literally so perfect for any Mofusand lover. There is sooo much content that just checks so many you-didn't-know-you-needed-it-until-you-saw-it boxes.
You get to learn about each of the cats, and see parts of their personalities.
Even learn about Japanese culture while you're at it.
Very keen to grab my own copy and maybe even for a friend!
Literally so sweet and cute.
Thank you to NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for providing me with the eARC and the opportunity to read and provide an honest review!

Mofusand is pretty well known as an artist. And I think this is a cute collection of their artwork while putting the kitties in sweet and lovely situations. I enjoyed reading it.

Fluffy kitty Mufosand and his cast of adorable friends prepare to go on vacation by providing tips on what to pack to have a good time. They visit an aquarium and talk about the fish one might see. They visit an amusement park and go on lots of fun rides. They also visit hot springs and enjoy a relaxing dip. Mufosand also likes food, so they dress up as the regional dishes from all over Japan and celebrate different cuisines.
This adorable book reads like a picture book with very scarce text outside of text boxes, and there are ridiculously cute illustrations of cats doing all sorts of fun activities. Occasionally, there’s a precious little puppy or other animals thrown in, but everything is fluffy and fuzzy. This is a lot longer than a traditional picture book, but it’s broken up in sections between the traveling section and the food section where there is a distinctive shift in narrative style. When Mufosand is sharing favorite dishes, it’s not really a story anymore. The traveling chapters are still short and manageable for younger readers, but it might be good to chunk this up and take chapter breaks.

What do I say about this incredibly cute book? I was at a loss while flipping through and reading and absorbing every bit. All anyone heard from me was “Awww!”, “Oh my GAWD! How stinkin’ cute!” and “I can’t!”. It was one unexpected page of cuteness followed by another and another.
The writing is so simple but meaningful. The art is just perfection! The cats are illustrated in such a beautifully squishy and fluffy way that you just want to bring them to life OR in my case, wish I could find these types of costumes and play dress up with my cats, although my cats would NOT have any of it. Ha!
I received this as an advanced reader (digital) copy and as a thank you I am leaving my honest review. Thank you NetGalley, Juno & Udon Press for the experience.
For those of you familiar with the Mofusand mini figures, you NEED this book. For those of you unfamiliar with the figures then you Need this book, especially is you love our feline friends. It is clean, wholesome, fun, beautiful and oh so cute! I cannot wait to get my hands on the hard copy of this publication! I challenge even the toughest of manly men to not smile at the pages within this book…I triple dog dare you.

It's hard to miss the adorable Mofusand feline mascots featured here in this artbook.
You're sure to marvel at each cute little face. On every page, we see cats who, page after page, in simple scenes with sometimes very short texts, eat, travel around Japan, dress up and have a good time together, or wear hats like in the game Little Kitty, Big City. It's adorable. My favorite cats are the ones with the lanterns, at the aquarium with the jellyfish, at the café with the baby penguins, the gyoza and peanut cat, the cat eating pizza and drinking bubble tea...
As the title suggests, you'll fall in love with these cute traveling kittens (even though you'll probably forget about them within 5 minutes of closing the book).

Thank you so much for letting me read this comic book. the drawings of the cats are extremely cute, nearly a cuteness overload. they are so adorable.

Oh gosh, this was so cute. I had trouble reading lately because uni is taking all my time. But when I saw a picture book about travel and with cats, I had to read it. And I did. One of the only books I finished in March (wow good for me uh). What can I say? With colorful drawings and cats, you discover things about Japan, it's cute and lighthearted.
So yeah, I definitely encourage you to read It if you want a quick and good read.

Super cute!!!
I actually even learned a little bit!!!
But for some reason it bothers me when the cats are wearing clothes??
Thank you to NetGalley for the review copy!

This is absolutely adorable. It accomplished it's mission- I did fall in love with a traveling cat. There were so many cute illustrations throughout, with enough variety to not feel repetitive. I particularly loved the little Instagram-style illustrations! Moreso, I enjoyed learning some basic Japanese culture through the illustrations, from common food to travel destinations, etc. Overall, I think this is a great purchase for any fan of Mofusand- or cats in general!

It is perfect for Mofusand fans and cat lovers alike. It is an adorable read. The illustrations are so cute,
