A lot of these recipes felt more like a grocery list than a comprehensive meal. One of the breakfast "recipes" is scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels with cream cheese, and berries?

This festive cookbook is utterly charming and indeed I have ordered myself a hard copy to keep . It fits in well with the current craze for cosy mystery/small town romance books and has many recipes that I will try, although to be honest it's a fun read even if you're not going to make all of the dishes.

First off, love this color! The christmas aesthetic and imagery in this was lovely.

I'm at the point in my life where I am starting to host holiday gatherings, or finally starting to bring things to the family potlucks (maybe a little late on that one but I'm there now haha) The Cozy Christmas Cookbook gave me many ideas on what to actually bring or make that people will enjoy and some recipes that I'm excited to try for myself.

I am so exicted to make the lasagana cups they look delicious and I think they will be a hit. Not all of the recipes were up my alley with many alternatives like Chickpea and Tofu to add textures and replace other ingrediants. Although this did not seem to add any additonal work and would probably make this an even better cookbook for somebody with allergies or health goals!

Overall this is a nice cookbook that had some good options for less traditional christmas foods, some from other cultures, and of course some holiday favorites.

This was fun! The recipes look easy enough & the names for them are absolutely adorable! The cozy Christmas vibes are there. I’m not a big cook so these look like recipes I would actually take on, nice & simple! Only complaint is not every recipe had a picture & I definitely need to know what I’m trying for! 😂 overall super cute & worth a look through!

I really loved this book. It's full of yummy recipes, tons of creative ones and new ingredients for me to try. It's easy to follow with beautifully presented illustrations of the plated food. Some of them very whimsical and festive; including a reindeer burger.

I'll definitely have a lot of new and fun recipes to try during the holidays.

Definitely a cosy Christmas cookbook. The recipes within this are exactly what's needed for those winter days! Good hearty food.
I would try most of these recipes and they all sound relatively easy to follow. Which is great.
All the foods talked about here are a good mixture that would suit most of your visitors . Of course bits can be tweaked to suit.
The puddings look fab! That's what the most important part is surely😍😊.
The illustrations are beautiful and colorful which splits up the menus and makes it less daunting. For myself,who doesn't get very excited about cooking, this is a great addition. The only thing I would have liked was one or two traditional style recipes popped In there to suit those that like things simple.

I LOVED this cookbook so much! I enjoyed all of the recipes and can't wait to try them out this month with my family.
I am most looking forward to the quiche, the little lasagna cups, and interestingly enough, the vegan mac and cheese, with my own spin on it of course.
I like how the majority of the recipes used healthy alternatives and cut out the toxic crud that a lot of similar recipes may have used.
This book was released in September, and I truly can't recommend it enough!

Recipes remind me of ones found in food and wine magazine. It’s a cute book and it’s set up nicely, but it’s not really our style; not one I would purchase for our household. I think this is geared more for young adults without kiddos or older adults with kiddos out of their nest.

This fabulous modern take on cooking for Christmas had me drooling as I perused the 50 delicious recipes. Healthful holiday fare with lovely illustrations and photos makes we want to buy a copy for myself and give copies as gifts to family and friends. Happy holiday eating!

I felt very nostalgic while reading this fun new cookbook, The Cozy Christmas Cookbook, 50 Recipes to Rediscover the Magic of the Season by Taylor Vance, because it reminded me very much of the cookbooks that my mother had when I was a little girl. That’s a good thing because while it made me feel nostalgic, it was still fresh, and modern, and new, with beautiful photography and clever ideas. I appreciated the fact that there was an engaging photograph for nearly every recipe. I think that’s important for all cooks whether they are just starting out or are seasoned veterans. I also liked that the recipes were clear, concise, and most of all doable for all skill levels Nothing was too difficult for anyone to make in order to create something unique, festive, and flavorful.

Despite the retro feel, this book is perfect for today’s cook, who may want to incorporate vegetarian or vegan meals into their diet. There are recipes here that fill the bill in both categories, but for those of us who enjoy our meat and cheese, easy substitutions can be made.

The recipes themselves are whimsically presented, with acute embellishments, frames, and illustrations. You can’t help but feel a sense of fun when flipping through. I also appreciated tips, anecdotes, and helpful hints that were festively scattered throughout.

If you are looking for a way to recapture that culinary Christmas joy, this book is for you.

This book was okay. Out of the variety of recipes, only a couple were sensually appealing. I felt that it wasn't a "cozy" feeling, but overall, a hit or miss.

If you're looking to venture off the beaten path in the kitchen this holiday season, this is the cookbook for you. While there are a few traditional goodies like very merry peppermint patties and spiced apple cider donuts, the majority of the offerings are trendier. It includes an assortment of appetizers and charcuterie that would make ideal party platters. There are also beverages, desserts, main and side dishes to try out. Lots of the included recipes probably don't scream Christmas, but a plate of Mama's lasagna cups or Abuelo's Feliz fajitas might become a year-round go to.

This was the most perfect christmas cookbook ever. I made. Not only is it SO CUTE but the food all looks amazing! I’ve only made the Cinnamon Cozy Carrot Cake but it was perfect and I will be buying the book to try the rest!

The most Christmas-y thing about this book were the titles of each recipe, not the recipes themselves, the titles. Some recipes do seem interesting, but they don't have much to do with Christmas. I don't think any of those recipes would find themselves on a Christmas dinner list, or at least not on mine. I like the concept, but the execution is just a collection of recipes who can be given Christmas-related titles.

This was really cute and festive, and I found a few recipes that I might try this year for the holidays. The recipes are easy to follow, the photos are great, and the names of recipes are also cute. Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for review.

The illustrations in this book are so cute. The titles of the recipes are all holiday inspired too, like Home for the Holidays Charcuterie or Simply Having a Wonderful Celery Soup.

There is an interesting variety of recipes, many that I plan on trying. I think everyone will find something to enjoy in this holiday cookbook.
