I enjoyed this romantic suspense. Royce was a little too alpha for me at times, but I got used to it. I especially loved when Lauren put him in his place. They had great chemistry. I also really liked the secondary characters, especially Royce's brothers. I didn't call the twist at the end. This looks to be a great series. I can't wait to read the next one.

I liked this story! It was captivating and sexy but not overly so the way many romances can get these days. The main characters could have used a little more development but overall, they were likable and the story flowed nicely. This was a quick, easy read and exactly what I was looking for at the moment. I wouldn't say it blew me away but it was definitely enjoyable.

Hot Secrets by Lisa Renee Jones, I love this book and I love her writing style. I'm not much of a reader for this kind of genre but the way she writes is something that's make a reader hooked.

I'm a huge fan of Lisa renee jones! This has been sitting in my reading shelf for years! Years! And I feel so ashamed i had kept it for that long... Passion flix just optioned a bunch of Lisa's books and I'm on a mission to read as much as possible before it all comes out.

This one is Sweet and sexy. All you ever need for a weekend read.

I received a copy through Netgalley for a review. This was a good, fast paced, hot romantic suspense with the usual alpha-male type. The first in the tall, dark and deadly series. Lauren is an ADA and daughter of state senator; Royce is a former FBI agent who is part of a private security firm. Sparks fly when they try to figure out who is threatening Lauren. Overall a pretty good/hot read.

Well the book wasn't that bad, but the development of the actions was too fast, they fell in love too fast and everything was just too banal and tawdry. It was 'love from first sight', definitely. The execution left something to be desired. Too much telling, not enough showing. I didn't believe the instant attraction, much less the declarations of "no one's ever made me feel things like this" that both characters made to each other. A hot and steamy little number. It was a decent entertaining read but not fleshed out enough to really enjoy it.

I was unable to finish the book, but thank you for the opportunity.

I really hoped to like this book. The premise, hot, sexy bodyguard and prosecuting attorney being threatened, is a good one. And I did . . . like it. And that’s the best I can say about the book. I can’t even say what my problem was with it. The writing is decent, and as I said, the plot is interesting.

I just couldn’t make myself care about the characters. I did want to know who the bad guy was and the book kept me guessing.

I actually found myself more interested in the two brothers. I would like to know their stories, but not enough to spend any time reading the other books.

This title has 3.5 stars on Goodreads and is free on Kindle Unlimited right now. If it sounds like something you might like, give it a try. I know Lisa Renee Jones is a very popular author. It just didn’t do it for me.

This romantic suspense is definitely one that will keep you reading. Intriguing and sexy read!

You always know what you're going to get with Lisa Marie Jones. Strong male heroes; softer, needier female love interests. It's nice to think about a protective, strong man sweeping you up in his arms and fixing all your problems. Not realistic, necessarily, but it does make me sigh on occasion.

I mostly enjoyed this but then the "alpha hero" had to go and say something so ridiculous and cliché as "you had me at hello." Uhmmm whuut?

I AM SO EMBARRASSED ... JUST NOW FINDING THIS ONE ON MY KINDLE/AMAZON. WAS NEVER READ SO NO REVIEW COMING AT THIS LATE DATE. MY SINCERE APOLOGIES.

Lisa Renee Jones never disappoints me and Hot Secrets was just as good as I hoped it would be. it was face-paced and full of suspense; I literally could not put this book down! LRJ has a way of taking you on this journey and making you fall head-over-heels in love with her characters; I couldn't get enough!!!

I truly enjoy this book, it kept me reading till the end. I would certainly be reading more of this amazing author. I suggest you read it, you will certainly won’t be disappointed.
