Anyone who likes animals more than people, anyone who likes romance, anyone who likes the song "Come on Eileen," and of course anyone who likes Abby this is the book for you. As always Abby makes characters feel so relatable as they work through issues of their past and present. You root for the characters and laugh when they win, and cry when they take a loss. "Say You'll Remember Me" is more than just a romance, it is also a story of family and of individuals. We see how these characters use memories of loved ones and community in their current relationships and growing understanding of themselves.

Abby gets me sobbing, laughing and happy crying all in one book far too many damn times. Absolutely crushed it with this one! By far my favorite

Abby Jimenez has really blown me out of the water with her novels recently, and this one was no exception. I think this might be my favorite of hers. I wept, I laughed, and I swooned. Never have I loved a cast of characters in one of her books more. Samantha is hilarious and though the internet commentary definitely dates this title, I couldn't help but feel that Jimenez demonstrated a knowledge of online discourse and humor that didn't feel out of touch at all.

I might've cringed at the ACOTAR references and felt that the character descriptions were a little hazy at times, but the intense heart of this title really won me over as it progressed. The stakes felt so high for this couple and the central conflict was very authentically unavoidable. I was exhausted with them and so relieved at the resolution.

I truly can't wait for the other books in this series.

I really was expecting more from the relationship of Xavier and Samantha. It all seemed very repetitive and I think the story could have given a little more. I would’ve love more story about Xavier past life. However, I did find the story entertaining and loved how the family made things work out at the end staying all united.

I loved this book. Probably the best by the author! I cried with the characters and loved the story line.

I enjoyed this book and I was so into it that I finished it in two sittings. I always enjoy Jimenez's writing and her knack for writing entertaining but heart felt stories. This novel begins with the main characters having a great date until the mmc finds out that the fmc is moving out of the state. The main characters kind of fall into insta-love but they have to be long distance for the entire book. I think the distance between the characters made it hard to really get to know them as a couple. I also wished that we got a little more of their happy ending. A longer epilogue would have been nice.

I have loved every Abby Jimenez book that I have read and this one was absolutely fabulous. I loved the romance, the characters, the storyline. So beautiful and heartfelt like always. I recommend reading this uninterrupted so you can thoroughly enjoy the story. I tend to read Abby's books all in one sitting and that is the best way! I can't wait until her next release. 5 stars!

I love the relationship building between Xavier & Samantha, but this is so much more than a romance! Jimenez is a genius at weaving the romantic plotline with everything else the characters are going through and this is no exception. The most resonant moments for me were those between Samantha's family and her mother, who is living with dementia. Definitely a lot of heavy topics, but Jimenez handles them beautifully. There is something relatable for everyone in this book, so everyone should read it!

As much as I absolutely adore Jimenez's books and writing in general, this one didn't do it for me. I was so sad too! I am a HUGE fan and this is probably one of my top 2025 anticipated releases. However, I found the pacing to be a bit off-putting. The beginning was incredibly fast paced (SPOILERS: like, we find out after the first date that they very much like each other) and then the middle felt almost repetitive with the same problem (SPOILERS: that the long-distance dynamic is not working for them). Of course, in typical Abby fashion, there's an incredible amount of heart and important discussion about being a caretaker and the emotional toll that takes. I always love how Abby's books are not just romances! But this almost felt like it doesn't necessarily fit in the romance genre at all? The ending was insanely convenient, to the point where it didn't feel very satisfying.. And I felt like some of the jokes were cringey ahhh unfortunately! The "would you still love me if I was a worm?" bit was too much for me. I feel so mean saying these things about a book from one of my favorite authors, but this is how my reading experience felt! I am incredibly, incredibly honored to have read this early (THANK YOU, Forever Publishing! <3) and will undoubtedly continue reading and supporting Abby Jimenez. This book just wasn't for me!

Everytime Abby Jimenez writes a new book I know it's going to be bittersweet. I find her stories so loveable that I can't help but slow and savor them a bit, knowing that I'll be a bit sad when each book comes to an end. While I've loved all her books, this one may be my favorite yet. I think she's one of few authors who can introduce so many tough topics into what many would consider an "easy" read. She skillfully introduced grief, dementia, abuse, and so much more into what was ultimately a warmhearted and thoughtful read. I absolutely loved the characters she created and would love it if she wanted to create a sequel for them. As always, Jimenez's latest is one to put at the top of your list.

My gosh where do I begin?? This was one of the best books I've ready by Abby and probably in 2025. The insta love romance was done in a way that I actually enjoyed. This was far more than just a romance, this was all about family and the complex relationships we have with our loved ones and with love. This book taught me that it's important to fight for love.

This was a sweet novel, with a lot of tough life experiences leading the plot. I was rooting for Sam and Xavier, but I never felt super invested in their connection. It's hard to build tension and emotion when the characters are literally so far apart. Ultimately, I enjoyed "Just For the Summer" far more and was a bit let down with this as the follow-up.

There is something so magical about Abby Jimenez’s books. She effortlessly combines beautiful love stories with emotional depth and real life struggles that many people go through. Every time I think she can’t top her last novel she proves me wrong. Samantha and Xavier are beautifully written and never once do you stop rooting for their love story. The real life struggles in the book in particular dementia hit close to home for me and will probably hit close to home for many people. This book is a masterpiece and I can’t wait to see what Abby Jimenez does next.

Content Warning: this book deals with advanced stages of early onset dementia of a parent. It is descriptive. It is heartbreakingly real and authentic. That being said, Abby Jimenez handles this subject with the care and tenderness it deserves - both for the person suffering and the family and loved one's suffering along with them.

Just when I think Abby Jimenez cannot possibly get any better - I'm proven wrong yet again. Say You'll Remember Me is such a beautiful love story on so many levels: friendship, family, romance. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I swooned - all the things that make a book a 5-star read for me.

Samantha is a character who feels deeply and does not apologize for it. She wears her heart on her sleeve and loves just as hard as she fights. Xavier feels deeply, but keeps all of his emotions locked in. Despite his lack of outward expression, he is absolutely someone you would want in your corner when push comes to shove. When a spur of the moment vet appointment causes them to cross paths, it sets in motion a series of events that changes the trajectory of their lives.

Both Samantha and Xavier are dealing with some very hard, very real, family trauma and turmoil and the way that they continually show up for each other is a true testament of their love. The connections between characters and their presences in each others' lives was just the icing on an already perfect cake. This is a must read and one that I will read again (and again). Jimenez has such a gift for putting words to feelings and finding humor in the heartbreak. Read. This. Book.
